Recently I had to go out and but new reg mod as voopoo drag after 3 months, if that kept misfiring whilst my back was turned and then gave up the ghost. So serchs the internet to find a cheap replacement and came up with the geekvape aegis and just wanted peopels input on it. So far found it quite good for a one battery system, Iv payed a lot more for shit in the past like the voopoo drag and the G box all of witch faild on me after all the hype, normally I'm a mech man the only thing i have found to go wrong with them is your face if your stupid but every reg mod I get goes wrong at some point . The industry keeping us in the market no less. Rant over yeh thought please

What you using on top tanks or RDA what ohms and battery what sort of puff rating you getting for battery. But have to agree so far if your not bothered about a massive nuclear reactor on the end of your face seams ok will have to test it with some staples but with 2 fued Clapton (2x28g wrapped with 34g spaced and bound with 36g over 5wraps of a3 mm) in dropdead 0.18 ohms flavour is the best. I'll go out on a limb and say bette than staples.

I use both. Tank(s) crown 3 with .5 coils. Used my apocalypse, loop, troll v2, cheetah 2, nano wasp rdta. Those all run triple core flat Clapton, twisted 24-26ga. Have black, silver.
Batteries are ijoy 26650. Get most of a days worth out of it. I run the crowns @ 58w. My rdas were around that too. I keep my builds between. 3-.5.

Sounds good was looking at getting the wasp and apocalypse especially what's flavour like I have the new twisted messes pro 24 and not a fan you can get big builds in it but flavour is shit SO pointless running small builds.

Not a big fan of the apocalypse anymore really. Troll v2 is my favorite hands down. Wasp is great, but gets spitty. A regular 510 drip tip installed in cap fixes that though.

I have one of the original 100w Aegis mods, and my son has one of the newer Aegis Legends, which takes 2 batteries. We're both delighted with them. I dunno about the Legend, but mine seems to suck down batteries much faster than any of my other mods, but since I'm a klutz, I figure a mod like the Aegis is a real good investment for me.

Oh. I don't know why I requested Pami in here. Guess I thought I was in the Trade forum. I keep several tabs open here when working/chatting on different things. (Sorry Pami!)

I"m SO glad to hear that you're both satisfied with each of yours. Mine is a....Aegis 100 "kit" 21700. I'm really looking forward to using it. What else goes with it besides black? I never buy kits! But this must have been deal. I never buy anything at full price. lol

Umm.. the original Aegis 100w doesn't take a 21700; it takes either a 26650 or an 18650 if you use the adapter. Mine is the leopard-print, didn't get the kit; my son got the kit with his Legend, and he is THRILLED with that mesh atomizer. He got the 'stealth black" that has the red stitching down the "leather".

Actually Andria, you can use a 21700 battery with the 100W Aegis, but you have to use one of these battery caps:

Thx, I had no idea! I just liked that it allowed you to use either 26650 or 18650, but nice to know it's even more flexible than that. :)

Andria
Yea, I first tried it with the 18650's & then purchased some 26550's for the additional run time, but good to have more options! Great mod loving mine, just wish the cutoff voltage was a little lower...

I would definitely buy the aegis if I was working construction or some other job similar. If not for that, I wouldn’t buy it. I don’t like the way it looks. But it’s cool that it’s hard to break and waterproof and all that.

I like it more than I thought I would, since I usually prefer somewhat smaller mods. But it just feels comfy in the hand, and it does seem to make a difference (for the better) with the fast response of the chip and then the coil, even at my ultra-low wattage. I'm looking forward to getting some 26650s for it, but haven't yet.

Andrea, definitely get a set of ijoy 26650s! Much better. I used the 18650 with adapter for less than a day before I ordered the batteries.
