I have one that departed Chicago three or four days ago and has not made it to Indy yet. Hasn't been logged in or out anywhere else either.

Was supposed to have been delivered by Saturday last week.

I had several packages that took over a week to get here from the Black Friday sales a couple of weeks ago. Their online tracking isn't very accurate either.

Yep,going through it right now,USPS lost or destroyed my first order from Ecigitty in Hawaii, they were nice enough to ship my entire again on their dime, and it was supposed to be here yesterday, but tracking says it departed Honolulu and no further updates.I just hope they don't fuck my order up again,I have little faith in the postal service.

USPS drops the ball on packages all the time, I'm afraid. And the tracking is terrible.

It's amazing they haven't found a way to be more competitive. There's a whole lotta shipping revenue to be had out there, and they certainly don't earn any on Service. Only reason for them is low price. With corresponding low service.

I ordered my Kayfun 4 from canada, I didnt get a choice in who they handed it off to after customs. They picked USPS. It "Departed" Chicago the 10th, and the USPS rep said they have no idea where its at. So....The AUTHENTIC kayfun 4 i ordered the day it came out, is still not here.

Oh, and a package says "departed" san francisco, which is FIVE HOURS AWAY, and its been on route to me for 4 days? How? Its a straight shot here.

I shipped out a mod on November 14th to a locale that is only 10 hours by car........it has still not arrived at it's destination. Tracking says it is only about an hour away from the destination...and has been for over a week.

My biggest issue is that USPS knows the shits about to happen when december hits. And they still arent prepared. If you have 11 months to prepare, there is no excuse.

Last year was the worst though. I had a two day package take fourteen days with no apologies from the post office.

I ordered some ejuice from Michigan company and a couple clone atty's from Fasttech a month ago on the same day. A week ago I got the order from Fasttech, three weeks. Just as I was filling out the paperwork for a lost package from Michigan, it arrived on my doorstep one month after I ordered it. The company in Michigan posted it the same day and the tracking info indicated it went into sorting and then in transport, for 3 weeks. I didn't know the USPS still used mule trains to haul mail out to the states. Once it hit my local post office sorting center, it was at my door in 3 hours.

It's become a habit of mine to avoid USPS shipping at all costs during the month of December. I'll even go to a different vendor and pay more if USPS is the only shipping option. It's just not worth the headache.

They aren't that great to begin with, but the wheels fall off the bus during Christmas season.

I'm in KY. I dropped some flavoring in the package drop Friday NIGHT, it got to my friend in CA Monday. I see so many horror stories about USPS. Please don't hate me... I just haven't had these issues. I'm real sorry everyone has to go through this. I'd be pissed, too.

Sometimes they work great. Sometimes they lose your $200 package. Its back and forth with no middle ground.

I sent a package to Ohio and tracking currently says it's on its way to Australia

It's just soaking up a little sun before it makes it to the cold damp state known as Ohio:rolleyes:

Perhaps  I got a reply from the post office today telling me they can't be sorry enough and that the foreign office in which it arrives will usually pass it on to its correct destination. Apologies aren't worth anything really

Like so many others I have a ton of Xmas gifts coming in the mail.

Since I don't trust the lazy mail bitch to do her freaking job, I am going to go into the post office this Monday and have my mail held until Wednesday when I will go in late in the day to pick it up. That way I can get any late packages rather than the cards saying I have to go into the post office the freaking day after Xmas to pick up whatever gifts that did not make it earlier.

I've got two tanks that departed San Diego Tuesday morning with today as the expected delivery. They haven't been scanned since. My mail is later than usual lately, we will see if they arrive today and just never were scanned. It's happened before...

Well, my order still has no scans since Tuesday morning, and apparently is still to be delivered today... Good job USPS. They are swamped this time of the year, I can sympathize with that, but there's no excuse to slack on scanning. Delays happen, life is like that, not perfect, but scan the damn packages.

I love the Post Office. I send stuff all the time, and it all gets there. There Regional Priority Boxes are inexpensive for light weight stuff the priority Flat Rate boxes are great for heavy stuff.

I hate UPS. I live on a street near a college so people are always walking by he house. I have a small walled off courtyard in the front of the house. Where does UPS leave the package? On the front porch for all to see. USPS always puts the package behind the wall where it is hidden from view. I have mentioned this to the UPS driver several times, called UPS, and they still leave it on the front porch.

If it is raining, USPS will not leave the package. They give me a notice. I can pick it up at the Post Office.

What does FedEx and UPS do when it is raining? Leave it in the rain on the front porch.

I went to the local mall the other day, and there was a box bed UPS truck leaving off some stuff at one of the store. You could see in the back of the truck. None of the boxes were stacked nicely. It looked like some one had stood at the back of the box, and just threw all the boxes in toward the front of the box bed. There was crap everywhere.

Ever since UPS when public, they went downhill.

I have the exact opposite experience with UPS, they walk up to the door, ring the bell. If no ones home, they leave the package behind the planter on the porch near the front door. The USPS jack-off just throws the package out of her mail truck at the end of my driveway, rain or snow, or sunshine.

I placed 2 orders first of the week. Scanning has been a little lax, but I just checked and I should be getting both today! One came from Hawaii and one from Charlotte NC, both to Middle Tennessee.

I just saw a commercial for USPS on the TV.

Talking about the 15 Billion packages that were "Delivered Successfully" last year.

Leaving me to wonder how many Billions that they were "Unsuccessful" in delivering?

And what happened to them?

We've seen a lot of delays and a lot of weird reporting to USPS from our shipments. We've seen deliveries that are supposed to go to Cali reach New Jersey first, then over to California shipping from Texas. We've also seen deliveries that never update their tracking and just appear in the customers mailbox.

I just received an email about a recent order I placed. Local B&M was out of Aspire Nautilus tanks (I like to support locally when I can), so I ordered some online. I thought I checked UPS shipping...but my email just sent me a USPS tracking number. :(

So I have a package coming UPS. I use a PO Box, at the Post Office, when I know I am not going to be home, when delivery is going to be made.

Tracking says that the Business was not open at 1:01pm when attempt was made to deliver. Interesting, I didn't think the Post Office would be closed at that time. It wasn't, UPS never went there.

I don't doubt this, and it sucks for vendors. Having operated an online business in the past I know how you get inundated with emails regarding shipping, when once it's out of your hands, you're unable to control anything, and know just as much as the customer. The only time I tend to contact a vendor is if it's stuck on "Shipping Label Created" as then it is a possibility it hasn't been dropped off yet. I did receive an order that went from that status to delivered recently, though. Was about to contact the vendor that night, too.

My tanks still haven't been scanned since Tuesday morning and apparently are still expected to be delivered yesterday... I'm just hoping to be one of the "just shows up at my door" people. At least it's nothing I NEED, but I'm thinking I might be wise to order some juice a bit early, as in soon, since who knows how long it will take. I don't wanna get stuck with B&M prices.

I got a delivery of ejuice early last last week, the vendor created the label and it triggered the email stating it was in shipping. 5 Minutes ago I got all the tracking info emailed to me from the USPS tracking system. Oh well, at least the system sent me the info...

My shit finally updated. It arrived in the main Denver hub around noon, I should get it tomorrow. Was hoping for today, hell, yesterday, but oh well. It's not lost and that's obviously good.

I ordered a SXmini from Varitube last Wednesday. It went out for delivery on Thursday of last week.

It want from FL, to NY back to FL, to NY and on a plane to Toronto in the span of 2 days. Tracking states it "has departed Toronto and on route to delivery." That was on the 15th and it hasn't updated since. Called Canada Post, they tell me there is a 3-4 day delay because of the amount of packages to be reviewed.

It's 2014, and they (all curriers) can not have a proper tracking system. I'm really upset as it cost me over $200 with shipping (3-8 day). Wtf bro?!

Our Fedex driver was worthless. Always left packages out in the rain by the garage door instead of walking 15 feet to the covered front porch. One winter my wife ordered some linens. A month went by, and Fedex claimed they delivered them. One morning I woke up and looked outside on the snow covered back deck, and there was a lump in the snow out in the middle of the deck. I wondered WTF is that, a dead animal? Nope, it was a soggy melted box of ruined linens. Could never get him to deliver to the front porch, even after numerous complaints filed. Never had to ask UPS or USPS, they always delivered to the front.

Don't remember if I mentioned this. I was delivered two packages for someone else's address recently. I just did USPS's job for them myself and delivered them. Hit and miss at best, but cheap.

Sounds like a formal complaint is in order. That's totally fucking unacceptable, even for the USPS.

If it came from across the sea, and went through customs in Chicago, good luck getting it before Christmas. Had a package at customs for a week, and took 3 days to leave the post office.

Half the time, I think horror stories regarding shippers have to do with location.

I never have issues with USPS here, but, I live in a development without local delivery. Everybody has a PO Box at the local office, so no worries over stolen or weather damaged things.
UPS is nice too. There has been a few times I ordered easily identifiable things (like LCD monitors, which ship in their regular packaging) and the UPS guy would leave it at the post office instead of leaving it at the door for anybody to see and steal. Although, I'm starting to think that I might be getting too much stuff shipped to me via UPS. Twice this year I have gotten somebody elses packages delivered to me with my name and address on them.

FedEx though...that's another story. Lived in 3 different houses over the past 15 years and it was hard getting a delivery from them at each one. I could sit in my living room and watch out the window as a FedEx truck pulled up, sat for a few seconds, then drove off. Would look at the online tracking and see "delivery attempted, recipient not home" when the driver didn't even bother to get out of the truck.

Man that would annoy me! I once chased a delivery van up the road because I thought he just drove off but it turned out he left it with my neighbour lol
