SMOK Baby Beast-coil fits

Hi,

I bought wotofo flux kit which has flow pro tank, they advertised that it would take all baby beast coils so I purchased 2 packs of v8 baby mesh coils as well, but they won't fit, I somehow managed to fit only one coil but the mod says no atomizer, I tried fitting these coils in all possible ways with no luck. I thought of buying a baby prince tank but most of the reviews complain about leaking tanks, I did hear that cascade tanks also take baby beast coils, can I use my v8 baby mesh coils in cascade mini tank. Has anyone tried it out and do they work.
I don't know why your flux tank won't work with the smok coils because it should, but yes the cascade tank will use them.

The SMOK baby Beast tank is very popular and has sort of become a "standard coil structure" in the vaping industry sort of like the Aspire Atlantis coil
I have been working on this list and by no means is it perfect but I wanted to get it out there for all to see and help me improve on.This is my attempt to clarify what coils go in the baby beast tank. If anyone has better info or sees I have posted any wrong info please don't hesitate to add or correct me

I've found that Only the T-6 & T-8 fit the Cascade tank. The others like the M, Q, or X don't. The series are straight cylinder shape and the others are a graduated cylinder...wider.at.bottom. My coils(the other 3) won't fit, too wide at bottom.

A lot of the reviewers are biassed against Joyetech devices and coils, IMO they are great and at a fairly affordable price point. Joyetech was right there at the beginning of the vaping revolution and were the first on the scene with innovation designed to be affordable safe and enjoyable. If it wasn't for their early designs we may still be vaping with flashlights and can vapes.
Here is a list of some fine Joyetech tanks that all fit the BB coils, and a list of BB coils.

Joyetech BB & BBB Compatible Tanks:
  • ProCore Air Plus
  • ProCore Air
  • ProCore Aries
  • ProCore Conquer
  • ProCore Motor
  • ProCore Remix
  • ProCore SE
  • ProCore X

And the ProC Coils that fit BBB tanks:
  • ProCA (0.4ohm) Ka
  • ProCD (0.15ohm) KTR
  • ProC1 (0.4ohm) Ka
  • ProC1-S (0.25ohm) Ka
  • ProC2 (0.15ohm) NiCr
  • ProC3 (0.2ohm) NiCr
  • ProC4 (0.15ohm) NiCr

From Element Vape about the Manta- The atomizer chamber is compatible with the Dominator Tank, TFV8 Baby Tank, and the NRG Tank.

Advken Dominator-

Not speaking from experience but I think it's safe to add these two.

I was under the impression that the Wismec Gnome King tank was compatible with the baby styled coils. Its is, but the 510 pin connector is too long. The tank wont sit flush on a mod because the pin sticks out of the bottom too far with a baby coil screwed in. I hope that made sense...

That image did not load for me, but Smok picked confusing names:
SMOK TFV8 X-Baby Beast is completely different coil than the SMOK TFV8 Baby Beast
Personally I did not like the X-Baby and I suggest you buy a Baby Beast or compatible tank and keep X-Baby as an emergency backup.
more info in this thread :)

OBS's new Cube kit uses the same M1 mesh coils that the Draco uses. The Cube tank looks like a nice one. But it got named along with the mod. "Cube Tank" isn't a good name for it.

Confirmed fit BBB
Desire M-Tank:
0.15ohm Mesh 40 to 110W, the coil actually shows (50-80W), but this is a confirmed fit and my new favorite. It looks small enough to fit in BB, so far I have used it in M-Tank and Joyetech Procore Air tank and it is very good. Great longevity and good flavor after 3 weeks!

*also the M-Tank is BBB compatible, i'm running a ProC coil in it.

I know this is an old thread but still useful because there are still tons of baby beast style coils on the market.
About the Advken Dominator tank: I don't have a baby beast coil to check, so I can't confirm if an actual Smok Baby Beast coil fits & works in the Dominator. But I can confirm that the Eleaf HW (1st generation) & Vaporesso GT coils do fit and work.

One thing that might be noteworthy for the GT coil for those that put a high value on looks: the Dominator's chimney must be a smidge shorter than the NRG line of tanks so the chimney threads of the Dominator don't completely screw into the top of the GT coil's threads. So you can still see a bit of the chimney oring once fully assembled. However, it's just a smidge so the the oring is mostly seated into the GT coil head, enough to prohibit leaking of juice into the top of the coil head.

I have not tried any of the RBA coils in the NRG tank BUT I did read somewhere that the iJoy EXO-X and EXO-S RBA is the same height as the regular coil so maybe try purchasing one of those and give us your results.

- The Ijoy Exo S (aka XS1) RBA - i can confirm fits/works in many Baby Beast style tanks but not all.

Some examples of non-fitment or quasi-fitment:
1) Vaporesso NRG SE - Won't fit since it's a 22mm tank and the base is too narrow. Tank cannot be closed as a result, not even with bubble glass.
2) Geekvape Cerberus - the positive pin length in the Cerberus base is inconsistent from one tank to another. SO your Cerberus pin might be a tiny bit too short so the positive pin on the Exo S RBA does not make contact. Others report it works fine so apparently the Cerberus's positive pin is inconsistent length from one tank to another. I have had no problem personally.
3) Vaporesso NRG line (24/25mm tanks only) - No issue if juice is thin enough but if you use thicker juices may have problems. See solution here.
4) Eleaf Ello - bottom glass seal hugs the RBA right above the wick ports so it stops liquid from getting to the cotton. But 3 different mods can be made to get around that problem:
a) drill 2 wick holes on side of RBA chamber right above the stock wick holes or
b) Replace Ello seal with a Kanger Subtank seal (not Subtank Plus or Subtank Mini) or
c) cut 2 notches in Ello seal (preferably with a hollow punch) and make sure they are lined up with RBA wick holes every time you reassemble the tank.
5) Advken Dominator - not really an "issue" here. Only 'problem' is that the dominator chimney is slightly shorter than other bb style tanks so (as with my post above) the chimney doesn't 100% screw into the top of the RBA, so you can see the oring at the end of teh chimney when full assembled. But it screws in enough that the orings till meets the coil heand and seals. The Exo S RBA is actually better for the Dominator tank's RBA because the Exo S RBA is not as wide and therefore you can fit a little more juice in the tank. Also, IMHO, the Dominator RBA's juice wells are too big for a single coil RBA so it can be hard to fill the wells with enough cotton to prevent flooding (3mm diameter coil minimum is necessary). The Exo S RBA has much smaller juice wells so much easier to wick properly with coil diameters uner 3mm.

- The Exo "RBA" mentioned does not work in baby best style tank. It's actually an RBA. The Exo is an RTA and the Exo "RBA" is really a removable deck, not an RBA, So it has zero cross-compatibility with any sub-ohm clearomizer, baby beast style or otherwise. The positive pin alone would make it incompatible but there are numerous issues. See this pic to understand why.

- The Marvec DIY Coil RBA, on the other hand, fits more baby beast style tanks without modifications, including 22mm tanks, because it's not as wide as the Exo S/XS1. Many of the problems listed above with the Exo-S RBA are non-existent with the Marvec RBA.
