Do any of you gals have experience with Vaporesso Euc coils? I got a pack of the .5 ceramic ones. I'm using them at 30W and get some really nice flavor. I want to know if you have a favorite. I've had this tank for a long time but rarely used it. Its a Veco tank I think.

No sorry- my only experience with ceramic coils are the Freemax Pure and those coils are awesome tasting and long lasting- still one of my favorite sub tanks and coils!
I tried some Kanger SSOCC coils in ceramic- just awful, tasted burnt and made my Nebox leak.

Oh man! I am so bummed right now. I finally found the iPower in blue in stock... wait 3 weeks for delivery... and this is what I got! :(

View attachment 120349

I've already e-mailed the co. but Lord only knows when I'll hear back or get my replacement. That's what I get for trying out a new co.!
UPDATE*
So the company was Vape Sourcing. I e-mailed them on 9/22... after 2 more e-mails and opening a PP dispute they e-mailed me back on 9/27 requesting the serial number. I sent back the serial number and didn't hear from them again. Today a brand new mod showed up with no request to return the first one. Don't know if they were just slow or the PP dispute lit a fire, but they made it right. :)

Yep, it's the blue one.
Now you can put a wrap on the 1st one! LOL- it would cost more to send it back, then what is is worth.
Glad Vapesourcing came thru for you! I have ordered from them a few times and all was OK- didn't have a problem that needed customer service.
Too bad you needed to use a PayPal dispute to light a fire under them.
I have only had to do a charge back once on a US company in the almost 4 years of buying online.

I got my 3Fvape order today, the Caiman v4 -- amazingly fast; it shipped out on the 26th, so just a bit over a week! Awesome!

I just gave it a nice boil to remove any machine oil traces. Got the coil wrapped, just waiting for the atty to cool a bit more, then I'll try it out! Can't wait! It's absolutely the closest thing to an Achilles I've seen!

WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

newCaimanV4.jpg

I am so pleased with this thing, I could just shit. :D :D :D

Flavor: outstanding!
Draw: almost as tight as the Achilles, if I leave one external airhole uncovered and use the smallest "nozzle" -- if I slightly cover the one external airhole, then it's just about the same tightness as the Achilles, but has a whistle... which might or might not work itself out over time; when I first started using my Achilles, they whistled, but over time they stopped. Or, I might be able to do something similar to my modification of my Magmas, and insert some size of needle in the internal airhole; 18ga should certainly fit it, and possible even the 16ga.

Now, I just need to see if the coil-screws in my Achilles II (which I never use, thx to leaking, and too airy) will fit the Caiman; it came with straight screws rather than Phillips, and I have a hard time with straight-slot screws.

I'm not seeing any leakage so far, but I'll keep my eyes peeled.

So happy I could just shit. :D If I see no leakage by the end of the day, I'm gonna order 2 more. :D

For 400 watts of power is so small..... Look at the 2 battery Smoant Battlestar.......

But who the hell NEEDS 400w of power? You'd need lungs made of asbestos for that!

Andria
Well we build .05 ohm dual coils..... They need at least 60 to 70 amps to push them..... And if you want a nice flavor and clouds that means 165 watts...... Ha ha..... so a mod that Vapes at 20 watts or 400 watts gives you a large range...... And holds 22mm to 30mm attys.... including ....

Yeah, this thread is really not the place for 400w monster vapes. This thread was started for those of us that appreciate the simpler, prettier, more compact devices.

I buy from China because our American vendors don't create what I want. IMO, bigger is NOT always better.

Exactly, and exactly. I got my Caiman v4 today from 3Fvape, which was shipped on the 26th -- 9 days. I've had things take longer to get to me from FLORIDA -- and I live in Georgia!

ETA: I have pretty large hands, for a female -- I'm 5'7", and my 6'2" grandfather had ENORMOUS hands and long fingers, and apparently I take after him extremely -- even to the red hair. :D I don't like vapes that are *too* small, because of my large-ish hands (I find the Picos a bit fumbly, they're so small), but the largest mod I've been comfortable with is my Aegis -- which really surprises me, because it IS rather large, but it's just comfy in the hand, and not horribly heavy. But my Minibooks are still my most-faves; they're just the right size for my hands!

you are fine-
I have the Battlestar and that is a small dual battery mod, so the Broscience is much smaller than it 1st appeared.
These are much smaller than my LV Therions that I use. Great that you found a US mod maker.

Yes very hard to find pretty and girly gear- I like mainly dual battery mods and most are not very girly.

My son got one of those Geekvape Aegis Legends -- their colors are fairly standard, black black and other not-girly colors, but they could probably be wrapped -- but they're really not that big at all, and even with the 2 batteries, only a smidge heavier than the original Aegis.

When it comes to cars, I'm 500% in favor of buying American. But vape gear? Just can't spend that kind of money on personal electronics that are handled all day every day and hence very prone to failure, but which are NECESSARY in order to stay smoke-free. I guess people could buy American-made cigarettes, but that's kinda the point: those American-made cigarettes are KILLERS. Vape gear from China, yeah some of it is crap, but some is very good yet still quite affordable. An American came up with the idea originally, sho nuff... but nobody wanted it. It took the Chinese to advance it enough to make it actually usable, satisfying, and affordable. The success of vape gear also depended on 40 yrs of treating smokers like devil-spawned lepers, and that IS American, all the way.

I have the Legend on my wish list- they have one in rainbow that I would love to get! If they had the Cheetah spots like yours I would get that one, but since not on the dual battery Aegis Legend, the rainbow would be nice. It does look like a comfortable to hold mod, can't be any bigger than the Therions I use.
All of our cars are American- hubby works skilled trades at GM, we have Harleys too.
I would love to buy an American made mod, but way too expensive, but I have a few American based companies gear like Lost Vape and Asmodus.

It's kinda funny... I have a couple of the original iPV Minis, 30w mods, and they're made by Pioneer4You, right? So why was there an Asmodus card inside the sealed box the mod came in? I never have figured that one out. Great mods, shitty paint, and horrible battery doors that thread-strip just from looking at them funny. I still need to find a place to buy some replacement batt doors for those; I wrapped both of mine when the paint started looking wrecked, and one of the wraps is that lovely Abalone.

Don't know if they were just slow or the PP dispute lit a fire, but they made it right. :)
I was wondering which Chinese sites accept Paypal at checkout. I've used PP at Fasttech and prefer it to CCs. I thought Efun did but it was just PP card which I don't use. Do ya know if there's a list around or who accepts PP?

I am a huge fan of the Vaporesso ccell ceramic coils. Would imagine that the EUC ceramic coils are very similar, just different resistance and more cost effective because you don't have to buy the complete sleeve and everything with every coil.

I use 0.9 ohm ccells in my Geekvape Illusion Mini tanks. They also work in the Herakles Honor, Aspire Triton, and Sigelei XTank, but I had leaking problems with those tanks and retired them as I bought more RTA/RDTAs.

The life of the coils I use is outstanding, and flavor is great. I haven't had a single bad coil in all the ones I've bought, and have rarely even had to change them. Switching flavors is easy, too; if you vape them almost dry of an old flavor, it only takes a few hits to get going with the new flavor. Biggest consideration with them is letting them have plenty of time to get saturated with eliquid when you first prime them. You can't rush it, otherwise you'll have a burnt coil that is basically trash.

Nice, thanks for the reply. I could try some in my mini Super Tank if they fit. I always meant to get an Illusion Mini. I like that its a versatile tank that bridged the gap between Atlanis styled coils and Baby Beast styled coils. I ordered one a long time ago but they sent me the bigger Illusion and I ended up keeping it. The Illusion mini is getting harder and harder to find.

I haven't tried a full-size Illusion tank, was trying to minimize the number of different types of coils that I needed to keep onhand. The Mini has ended up being my favorite pre-made coil tank. There's nothing about it that I dislike, but you're right, it's almost impossible to find them now. I think I did see some available from various vendors who sell on Aliexpress. Probably should get another one before they're completely gone.

I have used the 0.9 ohm ccells in a 25mm Super Tank, so they do fit. My sister is very fond of the Super Tanks, so I gave the one I had to her, along with a couple of those coils.

If you like lower resistance, there is an EUC coil that has that Atlantis-style sleeve. That's the only reason I still order the regular Atlantis-sized ccell coils - I really like the 0.9 ohm resistance, and the Atlantis EUCs only come in 0.5 and 0.6, if I remember correctly.

Thanks again for all of your input.. I found a place that has Illusion minis for like eleven bucks so I have one on the way. I also found some of the CCell coils. During my "research" I found another Vaporesso CCell coil that will work in the Illusion mini....I think lol. It's the GT .5 for the NRG tank. I like the little ceramic EUC coils so Ima give both of those a shot. If the latter for some reason wont fit I have other tanks that will.

Now I just need the red one and I'll have all 3 of the new colors! :D I ordered a couple clear wraps from Vapor Skinz today to protect the finish.

I apologize if it's already been mentioned, but I didn't comb through the whole thread to see if it was or not.
But I found a mod that seems to be on the female-friendly side, I guess you could say.
It's the Hugo Vapor Orbiter mod. It looks like a really comfortable mod to hold, and according to DeucesJack over at Vaping Insider, the TC is pretty darn good on it, if I remember correctly his assessment.
It comes in a "camo red" color that's actually camo pink. I actually think it looks awesome in any color, including the pink.
Anyway, here's a link to Jack's review on Vaping Insider's YouTube channel:

I see why you say this seems female friendly... no offense, but to me it kinda looks like a bottle of dish soap... lol :D

Hey, no offense taken here, lol. I see what you mean! In the video, Jack says it looks like a certain kind of Italian cheese, & compares pics side by side, & he's totally right, lol.

Re the discussion about how mods feel in hand, the best-fitting mod I have is the IPV Vesta that I got from BProsek in the hardware thread here. It fits my hand like a glove. Unfortunately, it is also one of the most masculine-looking mods I have, and I can't see how you'd ever put a wrap on it, what with it being textured on its surface. It is also one horrible POS when it comes to the firmware, the menus and navigating through them, jeez, I've come close to chucking it across the room a few times. YiHi lovers, maybe I need a crash course, but I don't get it. Maybe it's just too much mod for me, because that firmware exists I'm sure to enable a bunch of features that I will never use. It's overly complicated for my vaping needs.

I've come to decide that the Sig Spark I loved for so long is really TOO small for my hands. The Mini Book is better, but has just enough of boxiness to it that it isn't very comfortable, compared to some.

I know Pami doesn't like the top-cap battery styles, but I'm quite fond of my Pico Mega and the Ijoy Capo 100. I'd put the Capo away for a while because of concerns with the squonk model auto-firing, but decided to take it back out of mothballs when I realized all I needed to do (and it was something I should have been doing anyway) is cut all my mods off when they will be unattended. Once the thought occurred to me, and I looked at my side table and took in the sight of six mods sitting side-by-side, all with semi-volatile batteries in them, I realized that if any one of them melted down, there would be a great big problem that would probably burn my damn house down.

But those two mods feel good in my hands, and I like the long battery life from the 21700 in the Capo and the 26650 in the Pico Mega. Also managed to pair them both with tanks that work like they were meant to be together - a Kayfun V4 clone on the Pico Mega, and a Geekvape Illusion Mini on the Capo.

I might be bitching about the Kayfun when I the time comes to put a new coil in it. That coil is TINY, and I know right now that I don't have anything in my stash that is small enough to go into the RBA that's in that tank. The RBA looks like it would fit in a Kanger Toptank. Just ordered some tools and a spool of nichrome wire yesterday, so once that stuff gets here I guess I'll make a coil for it. Hopefully it won't burn through before then.

Never thought I'd say it, but I have just about stopped using my Kabuki clone tanks. I have one left in use - it's on the Spark that I leave at my office all the time. Once I got a couple of RTAs going, those Kabuki clones kind of lost their appeal.

Yeah, you're right I don't like the batt cap mods.

Powering off the mods when not in use is something I've been doing from the time I began vaping. And if it takes external batts and I'm not going to be using it for the foreseeable future, I remove the batts altogether. That's certainly a habit EVERYONE should get into. Right now I have a dozen setups on my desk with juice in the tanks. All of them are powered off except the one I'm currently using. ;)

As far as fit in my hand... and I have fat hands... Kanger subtank mini, any of the Innokin Cool Fire 4's, the Sigelei Book, the eLeaf iPower 80w, the eLeaf Melo, and I recently discovered the Kanger 70W ... those are the ones that fit my hands the best. I also like my eLeaf 100W TC, but I only use it at home. It's too heavy to take out and about.

I don't either, whether that threaded cap is top (Pico) or bottom (iPV Mini). Just a huge pain in the ass, and if the threads get stripped, well, that mod is toast. Dammit.

This exactly. I don't have so many batteries that I can just leave them in a bunch of mods! This is one way that using just one flavor is helpful; in the morning I check the battery of whatever mod I'm using currently; if it's still got ":juice" then I keep using that mod that day, and just figure out if I need to change the driptip (depending on my garments for the day!). If the battery needs charging, then I take it out and charge it and move to a different mod. It prevents leaving batteries in mods unattended, and allows me to rotate thru my "favorite" mods -- my 4 minibooks and the Aegis. I used to include my iPV Minis in that rotation, until one of them stripped its batt cap threads; the other may not be stripped, but it's probably just a matter of time. So I need another royal blue mod, and another black mod so I can wrap it with an abalone skin, to replace my iPV Minis.
