One step at a time. You be blowin weather systems before you know it.Thank you, useful information.
I’m really cloud chasing just don’t know exactly what I’m doing
Heck yeah, Ogre. I use 29ga, 8 wraps around 3/32 to reach 1.8 ohms, and my own heat flux is around 150 or just slightly lower at 10w, and that's barely warm at all -- which is what I like, but someone wanting CLOUDZ BRO would definitely need more heat than that.

Lol, I'm in the middle. I like to hit between .4 and .5 ohms for some battery life and somewhere around 300 for a heat flux. Some of these folks chasing clouds are using stacked mechs and banging some high mass coils with a full 8.4 Volts. Asbestos lips I guess.
Me Grog! Me Vape!!!
All good, love to watch them.
My son has 2 attys that he likes; one, he builds on (an OBS Engine Nano), around .5Ω, and vapes at about 20-25w; the clouds are a good deal thicker than my 2Ω-10w wisps, but nothing like he gets with the other one, the Geekvape Aero Mesh; he uses the .15 coils and vapes it around 60-70 watts, and THAT makes a very substantial cloud -- he noticed right away that if he's using that one while driving, he better crack the window a bit and exhale off to the side.
But with an atty like that, the HUGE airflow keeps it from being super-hot on the mouth -- it's a good bit warmer than I like, but not "burning" hot at all.

24g Kanthal A1 Wire
10 Wraps
4mm I.D.
Reading .58ohms. Not really pleased with amount of vapor
Awesome, definitely going to give it a try tonight, thanksCool have a go with parralel wires
Take two strands of that 24g and place them side by side then coil them up together ...takes a little bit of sodding about with the coil mounting tool but for a starter build its easier
it’ll reduce your resistance some get it down to about 0.17ohms and you’ll get a better performance from that regulated mod and denser clouds to boot
3mm ID try 7 wraps each coil (maybe 6)
What I mean by parralel wrap by the way

If it’s taking to long to ramp up try thinner gauge or if your mod has it wack the preheat up
Awesome, definitely going to give it a try tonight, thanks
