i was wondering if it was okay to use maybe a Smok v8 and use a Horizon Falcon tank or will it explode or just blow a fuse or burn the coil? Thank you!

Sorry I can't answer your question but I am hoping someone with personal experience or knowledge will.

The Smok V8 is designed for 0.15ohm to 0.25ohm coils so as long as the Horizon Falcon coils are in the same range it should be fine.

I tried a different coil with .15ohms and the Stick V8 would not fire.

Try a different coil one up at the other end, 0.25. Smok is kind of infamous, at least imho, to rate device down to so low but ultimately they'll stay 0.20 or above only. not sure of the whys or how fors of that but it just seems the course o' things. ought to be GTG w/ 0.25 though, if'n nay try a coil outta some other wire material, like say you're using kanthal, try Nichrome 80. Damn goofy machines with computers onboard always finicky. *goes off to look for his wrench to hammer on his ISPs network backbone connection* i keep getting "netsplits" which is odd. Hm, maybe all the damage 'round bout.
