Why do you like more the single/dual coils?

Nowadays, most vapers prefer building and using dual coils

However, for me, I prefer a single coil when using Temperature Protection (Vapor Flask dna40) because they give me better flavor at cooler temps and faster ramp-up with the lower wattage's than the dual coils do.

On my non temp control setups (ipv2s & ipv3) I prefer dual coils because they have more surface area which produces intense, thick, warm flavor for me on higher wattage's.

I wonder some of you, Why do you like more the single/dual coils?

I tend to favor dual coil for the dense vapor but build in such a way the vape is still cool.

I use single coil exclusively. Just easier to setup, easier on the batteries, just plain easy. I like to put forth the least amount of effort possible whilst still getting a flavorful vape. Single coil does that for me.

single coil clapton for me @ 20-25 watts. One battery lasts me most of the day

Single coil with a higher resistance for me. Not sure why but I just don't like the flavor from dual coils. My dual coil attys are collecting dust at the moment.

I Almost always have at least one of each going at once. They are both very different vape experiences and I love both of them. So, I just jump around depending on what kind of mood I'm in. Also, some juices work better with one or the other.

I use both, single battery mods I use single. I have duel coils running on my mods that have two or more batteries.

I preferred dual coils years ago when I was vaping mech mods. It allowed me to reduce the resistance of my builds in order to increase the wattage without getting a really hot vape and still get reasonably fast heatup times for my style of vaping.

These days I almost always vape regulated at around 15 watts and prefer single coil builds.

Either way works just fine if you get the heat flux and heat capacity right. It's just easier to do it with a single coil in a regulated device than in a mechanical setup. And working with one coil is easier than two. And I like easier :)

I definitely prefer single coils. I'm all about the flavor and I don't even like running fused Clapton's or complex coils due to power consumption. I find I get just as good if not better from spaced parallel builds (granted I'm meticulous about it and make sure there's no a single spaced anywhere along the two wires all the way to the legs). The ramp up time is much much quicker and my RDAs never get hot even though I chain vape hard.

I like the temp of the vape on a single spaced parallel coil more than dual coils too. I run .23 builds for regulated mods at 45 watts and that's perfect to me. I wouldn't do dual coils since I get better and more nuanced flavor off of single coil setups and consume much less juice. The other part is not only is the battery consumption much more intense but the SIZE of the mod is going to increase substantially which means a significantly less portable mod.

I like to use single 21700 squonkers and box mods so that at most I would only ever need to carry around one extra battery. I only even have to do that because I like to extend my battery's shelf life by recharging them at like 3.7-3.8+ volts. Yeah I tried the whole dual coil thing but it's just not for me for all of the reasons listed above.

Edit: Forgot to mention it's also double the work with duals. It wouldn't stop me from using them if it wasn't for all of the other reasons but yeah definitely a pro for single coils.

I love dual coil regardless of type. I found that the larger beefier builds like the staggered or ladder Clapton in SS heat up way too hot . Standard Clapton’s bend too easy but the vapor production is good. Haven’t tried a single set up. I guess I’ll have to give it a try.
