Hard hitting clones?

I know a lot comes into play with voltage drop. I stick with vct4/5's for unregulated devices. And I'm not new to sub-ohm. And was curious as to what would be a good 18650 mech for low sub-ohm builds. I've narrowed it down to something probably in copper. I was looking at the copper 4nine clone, assuming this would have a pretty great voltage drop with the magnet switch and hybrid style connection, but then I read not to go very low with it... Just looking for some suggestions?

Without any exact testing, I would say you are on the right path with the 4nine. You are completely eliminating any drop from the atomizer connector (since you are tapping up to the battery).

Any reason not to go low with it? Or was I just reading a troll post?
I read a similar post but not for the copper version it was the stainless one and they thought maybe it was because of the copper button being more conductive than the body of the atomiser. I have a copper 4nine clone on order and I plan for my mephisto to live atop it for those super sub ohm builds

I got hit by a Maraxus and have to say it was a hard hitting mod for sure... ouch...

Be careful with the 4nine, the clone I have has absolutely NO venting at all. Not good for super sub ohming. If you want to go with one just make sure to drill a vent hole or make sure the one you are buying is properly vented.

As for a hard hitting clone, the copper stingray ( the one that has all copper contacts ) hits really hard.

Copper panzer (red phoenix), akuma, copper nemy, copper stingray, I have all of those and they're the hardest hitting in my collection. The copper panzer and akuma are tied for hardest hitters for sure.

copper king mod clone is pretty decent as well. i vape it at .2-.3 all day and the mod itself never gets hot, it has vent holes at the top and in the button. got some magnets coming for the switch... vapemail soon!

Really, any copper mod with clean contacts and a solid switch will be the most conductive. My Stingray hits the hardest of all my mechs, but I have a copper 4nine on order that I'm sure will hit just as hard.

Stingray is one of the hardest hitting clones out there. It has a remarkable low voltage drop under load.
Here is a Video from Twisted420

Stingray is a good choice. The other that I have is a copper Pegasus!

Copper Penny mods (Tobecco Clone) came into the shop yesterday (Stormy's vapor Cellar), after trying it I had to buy it. Hardest hitting mod I own . Hits harder than the copper Nemesis .

I'm absolutely in love with my Panzer 18650 Clone! 75% battery gave me that cloud in my profile picture. My atty is a CLT Infinite with .16ohms. I don't see a lot of love for the panzer on these forums but it feels amazing in your hand and the button/lock is perfection! The only con is the floating pin, if you use more than one battery type it's annoying to re-adjust the pin. The voltage drop people speak of isn't bad, just keep one or two spare batteries on you and you're good to go!

Anything in copper will be a great choice. If I could buy any copper mod it would be the aria built, oros. But I currently have a paragon clone that hits like a truck. I competed in a cloud chasing competition a couple weekends ago, using a turtleship clone. After the competition I saw the paragon sitting in the display case, tried it with the same battery and build I used with my turtleship and I was dying. Hit so much harder and hotter.

i love my copper panzer clone. hits harder than all my other mods including my black copper stingray. I got a copper manhattan clone on the way, hoping it hits even harder than the panzer. can't wait to give it a go.

I'm realizing copper contacts make a HUGE difference. Got a mod in trade, wish I could find more info on it but it's a J2P Mods "Butler", and with my 0.3ohm Plume Veil clone I'm looking at 0.2v drop. Pretty darn good imo

maybe a sewer pipe made of all copper and about 12 car batteries would do the trick man can you imagine the cloud :)

The one twisted used is the brass. The copper would have netted even better results.

I have a copper panzer clone and it hits hard, the problem I have is with the lock it seems to get stuck and if you don't lock it and put it in you pocket you can get a misfire. No good. But other then that it's hits HARD!!!

IDK which one ya got, but mine was like that at first.
I brushed the threads and lubed it up a bit and it's golden ever since. Just don't over-tighten it.

Copper is really soft, so no matter the mod if ya torque it down, you will likely freeze it up.
I had to stick an o-ring on my copper King v2 just above the locking ring to keep it from sticking, but it's fine now too

Ironically I've had my panzer for a little over a month now and the lock ring is starting to drive me insane. I just take the battery out now. Other than that the mod hits flawlessly and I don't regret getting it!

Oh boy, I was at the shop doing first hand tests on a bunch of clones and I dont even think I tried the Nemesis after I saw the lock ring haha. The 26650 Hades ring is a little odd for me, to be honest.

Also the 4nine is a great mod but that button inside the mod... :c

I'm liking the recessed/strong magnet switches, but I'm lazy so doesn't say much I suppose

I'm with you on that. I'm pretty certain that I will be selling all of my mech tube mods (with the exception of my custom Chi You clone and Cartel clone). I'm currently on a YIHI chipped box kick.

I jumped on the high wattage bus too early, got the 30w clone then, it was a high wattage shit storm right after! How it goes in the tech world though. My plan now is to wait for the upgraded version of the 350 with step down and build a dual 18650 mod. The 350 has been out a bit now so I feel I just need to wait...

I'm likely to do the same...seems like a good place to park a .02ohm Gplat dual coil build

Any reason not to go low with it? Or was I just reading a troll post?

It's said not to go below 0.25 because the heat in the button (or current?) can weaken the magnets force. That's any mod with magnets.

And yeah, on lock rings... hate em. Won't own another mod with a lock ring.

My 4nine rocks, zero issues and if you want a vent on the top you can grind a channel from the two holes in the top cap out to the edge. You don't have to take much material out, just enough for the air to get out between the top cap and the base of your atty... like 1/2 of the caps thickness. My dremel went a little further about 3/4 but its fine.

My Panzer and 4nine hit like a monster! I have a 4/5 wrap 26g dual micro coil at .18 ohms. (use good batteries)

Just wanted to throw in my two cents, Today at work, we decided to test voltage drops of the authentic section, and out of curiosity we tried the authentic Manhattan copper vs the clone, and guess what happened? The clone had exactly the same voltage drop, hence is as good as the authentic.

Which clone was it? Was it the one by euphroa? Or however you spell it

I just received some vapemail today with an SS Zeus clone and Big Dripper V1 clone. Running at .2 ohms about blew my lungs out. Violent is the best word for it! lol

EDIT: Silver contacts > copper contacts all day erryday.

I have been loving my Clone Killer mod. All copper hybrid. I did manage to destroy a battery on it when I failed to check a positive connection for clearance, but it is seriously hard hitting.
