I watched some reviews of the new kangertech sub tank it actually looks ok but I'm hesitant. I kinda said to hell with kangertech and commited to aspire. Love the Atlantis and nautilus. Aside from that I like rta's. Too lazy for drippers and I don't build either also too lazy I get my builds done at vape shops. Anyway curious to hear some opinions on the kanger subtank and im also bored as hell right now.

I'm gonna wait a little bit to see how it turns out, but, while I like the Aspire stuff, I hate their coils and their tendency to burn. Wife has the Nautilus and man does it eat the coils. At least with this Kanger, I can rebuild them for on the go or use the deck for home.

I'm kind of nay. I have zero issue with aspire BVC coils or Atlantis coils. Just put a few drops in the coil when u put in a new one and I even do it EVERYTIME I refill my tanks. That and a couple primer puffs. I'm currently obsessed with the Atlantis cause it takes Zero effort to get such a good vape experience. 6mg nic .5ohm coil vaping at 27.5 watts. Lovin it. The subtank would be more appealing if it wasn't wonky. 25mm width. Why

All I have to say is 25mm diameter. Even most box mods aren't that big.

I think that seems to be the biggest gripe (if any) that I have heard.. if Aspire comes out with a hybrid type tank - I would most likely get theirs over Kanger.. but right now Kanger is ahead of the game with this type of tank..

I think this is going to be the new standard for clearos and I'm hoping Aspire/Innokin come out with their versions real soon

Pfftt.. 25mm.. So what? I remember when peeps were bitching about 22mm.. 'What? 14mm is too big already!'

I agree.. if the thing performs , then size shouldn't matter (no pun intended lol)

the istick has a very noticeable overhang with almost every atty thats attached.. i think its all about personal preference.. the subtank is still the most innovative tank to date and I'm excited to grab one once my vape budge opens back up

Some people like putting big things in their mouth. Others don't.
It's too big for 22mm mods, too small for 26650 mods. I'd rather a Lemo and an Atlantis and not have to rebuild to go between the two styles.
This is of course just my opinion.

Yep, that's one of the many reasons I'd never use an I stick. I like my vape stuff to fit.

I like my shoes to fit correctly also.

My concern is the "chimney" section on the heads, seems VERY narrow for 0.5ohms...

Yay if you don't want to rebuild, nay if you do since there are better options for that.

I'm holding out for reviews on the kayfun 4 clones.

I use Nautilus minis on my istick. They seem made for each other. But shelling out for heads gets old. I seem to go through them faster than some do.

I was complaining about the price, but I finnaly used an hour of my life I cant get back to watch Phil. I am eating my worlds. For the quality and everything that comes with it, 50ish bucks isn't bad. Plus he said it hung with his high ends in rdt mode. $50ish is fair, permitting it holds up to time.

I have an Atlantis on my BEC Pro and love it. But it only holds 2ml.

I ordered the Kanger Sub Tank and cant wait to get it. 6+ml and either prebuilt coils or a coil deck. Reviews all seem great.

And I dont mind it being 25mm, going to put it on my E Huge. Should fit nicely.

I personally loved all the tanks kanger had to offer.
I hope this one continues the great reputation.

Maybe I'll swing by and pick one up, seems like a reasonable price as well.

This tank is a beast! Monster vape from 15w - 35w, any higher you get allitle burning. I've hit both the aspire and kanger, and defiantly better taste on the kanger. The 1.2 coil that comes with it isn't so great, but you can rebuild the original coil pretty easily. I got it apart with a pair of pliers, its a single coil with some cotton (easy fix if you accidentally burn the cotton). The RDA is only useful if you plan on building coils under .5, and i don't know why they call it an RDA . Its just an easily rebuildable tank coil, not a dripper.

They call it an RBA. NOT RDA. ReBuildable Atomizer.
Looks like a kayfun to me. Got plenty of those..drilled out, it's the same airflow as the subtank. If you're rebuilding the prebuilt coils, I don't quite see the point.

Because you only have to buy 2? That actually come with it? You dont buy a pack of 5, rebuild them, use them, then throw them away.. LOL

Or just buy a Lemo, a Billow, or Orchid RTA. You know, something that was MADE to be rebuilt! LOL. then you don't even have to buy two...or the subtank.

I actually looked at the Kanger sub tank up close at my local vape shop..it uses those small coils just like any other Kanger tank except they are .5 ohm..these has always caused a tight hit for me in the protanks because I couldn't get enough airflow thru those small diameter chimney tubes coming from the coil.. The aspire Atlantis had great airflow and I blew a decent cloud when I got to try it at the same shop yesterday... I would say nay to the Kanger and yay to the Atlantis if I had to chose..

There is different version of the heads. The final run heads are square and do not look like any other protank heads. The fist two versions were closer to the older styles. Are you sure it was one of the new ones? Some shops have got their hands on the first two versions.

The heads should be huge, square, and chimney less.. If they looked like the original dual coil heads, its not the right one.

Yeah I decided to try one out. Ordered it from kidney puncher should be here Monday afternoon I'll post my thoughts. The pbsuardo video seemed good. for someone really lazy it could be a good intro to rebuilding a coil on the RBA deck. As for me I really don't mind paying about 20 a week for a 5 pack of coils sometimes 5 lasts me two weeks. I just want a satisfying vape with little to no effort. No disrespect to builders and tinkerers it's just not my thing but maybe I'll get off my lazy ass and attempt it a little with the sub tank and the nice part is it's optional if I revert to my laziness which is most likely the case

Just got in my 4 subtanks. Looks awesome on my ipv mini. Flavor is great on the 1.2 premade coils. I don't like hot so have it at 15 watts. Test out the 0.5 coils later and rebuild able decks this weekend.

I just got my sub tank in the mail a little while ago. It is official, it kicks raging ass. I had the opportunity to try an Atlantis over the weekend. It was really good, bit however, I think Kanger won the race on this one. I got a bottle of juice today as well. While it is really good, the lowest the mix is 6mg. I vape 3mg and in this subtank it is hitting me like Tyson having psyche issues. I haven't vape 6mg in so long, I didn't realize the extra 3mg would hit me in the boo boo.

I've been buying 6mg down from 12mg and I think I can do 3 mg with these tanks myself. I made a 3mg batch of french apple pipe to test. Even at 15 watts with 1.2 coil I'm getting better flavor than my nautilus and I'd say even better than my kayfuns.

If you think that is better than kayfun. Try the RDA with a single coil. Same kayfunish vape, better flavor and airflow.

I will. I'm not a dual coil person. Was going to try today but not feeling so great.

Looking at ordering a subtank nano, worried about my current batteries though. I have a Kanger EVOD VV 1600 and an Aspire CF VV - will these work OK with this tank?

Neither are suitable for use with a sub ohm coil.

Hi. All

I bought the Nano and Mini. I find them very harsh on the chest even at low settings. Does anyone know what part of Japan the cotton comes from. Maybe a Geiger counter might be a good companion purchase along with the Sub tanks.
how much nicotin are you using?
