Hermatic, Recurve, C4, or other?

Going to purchase a single coil RDA. I like bigger coils. I would prefer if I could cram 4mm ID coils into it but that's asking a lot of a single coil atty. So it needs to be able to handle at least 3.5mm. I vape at higher wattages up to 70 and sometimes 75 watts with a slightly restricted lung hit. But, I want the option to vape low watts with a tight draw (not MTL but very restricted lung). I like a warm saturated vape. I've heard great things about the aforementioned RDA's. So, of those three, throw out your thoughts!

Thanks :D

Is it for squonking?
Recurve has small well if dripping.
C4 has fantastic flavor and silky restricted af. Great for squonking or dripping. It's low profile and I haven't tried 4id and 70+ watts.
Don't know about Hermatic. Looks interesting though.
Drop Solo has room for big coils.

Yes it will mostly be for squonking. I need something to sit on my Pulse 80w. Since I run mostly High watt dual coil, and I don't have a good single coil atty, the pulse gets underused.

I've considered the Pulse BF RDA (22mm) as well but I haven't found ANYONE who's used it lol

I kinda misread your OP. First thought you wanted 70+ watts on the single coil.
I'd definitely go for the C4. You wont be sorry. It has all the traits your looking for. Except maybe how well 4id will fit in there.
I run 3id in it but I've had 3.5 and know it fits well. If you want to see how 4id fits I can have a couple pics in an hr or so..

That's quite alright. I can get away with 3.5 on most things. I've been leaning towards the C4 anyways. I've not ever heard anyone say it's not a good vape

I've had a lot of luck with the Recurve on my Pulse (like the mod really matters...). It will def accommodate larger coils too.

I love the Recurves ability to flood the deck above the coil without leaking, while still being able to suck most of the juice back into the bottle. I'm sure the C4 can squonk above the coil, but I'd imagine the larger deck might leave more juice (could cause gargling) than the lower volume Recurve.

Another thing to consider is the other types of RDAs you have in rotation. Most of my regular duel coil RDAs use drop-in decks, so all my coils are usually wound to accommodate those RDAs. The Recurve is also a drop-in, while the C4 is not. But if you're making larger coils specifically for this setup, I guess that doesn't matter much to you.

One feature the Recurve has over the C4 is the availability of a 22mm top cap. That will be useful if you ever decide to buy one of those tiny squonk mods that practically require a 22mm.

If I'm looking to squonk I'm actually wanting to not hit the top of the coil. As long as I can get it to hit the bottom then I'm good.

All of my RDAs have massively different decks. Postless drop in of the Pulse 24, Drop in for the Rune but it has very specific positioning for the bottom airflow, Screw down two post of the KTX, Layercake style of the LiT ... I'm used to building to specific RDAs

One of the tings that I like about the C4 is the "full wrap" style deck where the leads come off in different directions.

Ahh the C4 it's probably for you. I don't own one, nor have I ever used one, but it's not hard to tell it would be a quality piece. I just cannot get past the looks. The gold airflow... against the colored cap... against the silver etching... all packed on one tiny RDA is just too much for me. And the drip tip, don't get me started on that drip tip lol

Yah I can be pretty shallow when it comes to my gear's appearance. But it looks like the C4 is just to perfect for me. I might have to look past the looks lol.
Citadel clone! Looks like you can easily do 4mm, slighly restricted but maybe less so than Hadaly clone

Can't find info if the airflow is adjustable?!?

Definitely is - you can rotate the top cap freely to close it completely

It's a Hadaly but better and I want one ^.^ I like the Hadaly but haaaate the lead trappers, Citadel looks like huge improvement for builds wider than fused claptons

It has a concave well so depending on bottle suction.......I've used it on Squeezer and Furyan and don't get any gurgling.

I'm not that thrilled about how they designed the looks of the cap, they could have made it much better than just matching their mods. But the rest makes me forgive it.
That's how I mount it. The bottom row of af(or at least most of it)under the coil and the other 2 rows hit the sides, it's at an angle so it runs down the sides of the coil some.
As far as leaking @ af, with a warm deck you really have to try. I don't experience any accidental oversquonks and I squonk it hard, maybe twice, because I want the coil flooded.

On my Black Friday/Cyber Monday list, even though it's only 13-14$.:)

I have all 3. Definitely go with the Hermetic. Just better flavor and it's the best at squonking out of the 3 IMO.

I fit a 24g 6 wrap 4mm spaced parallel coil in it with pretty wide spacing so the deck is pretty big.

The heat capacity was too high for me to keep that build in it though since I chain vape.

That was more so the 24g and my personal preference though The RDA itself doesn't heat up very easily.
