Voopoo Drag ramp-up time

I've had my Drag for somewhere around 10 months now. It seems like there's actually a ramp-up time now. Is this something that a firmware update might fix? Thanks for any advice. It not a big thing, really only noticeable when my batteries are getting low.

Have you tried any fixes? Like I said it's not a big deal to me, I'm wanting to get a new mod anyway.

Yeah, the new Drags look awesome. I'm of either getting a new Drag or Aegis Legend. I work landscape construction in Western Washington so having something that can withstand the elements would be good. That being said, the Drag has never failed me and I've dropped it a ton and left it in the rain.

I won't recommend the Too. Now the Drag 2 is having paint issues and is still new and I don't abuse mine. That particular mod is fast. The Naboo is my goto then the Drag 2. You'll like it with the exception of the paint is like the other Drag, cheap.

The Too just sits here from the second day. Seems to want to shock me and no help from the company overseas that I purchased it from. Well, paying $50 postage they will, nope.

The Drag you should be able to update the firmware and should be good to go. Maybe a weak battery I'm thinking.

Did you mess with the settings? If it is the original Drag it should have an adjustable vaping curve feature that you can set to hit harder when you first fire the mod and then taper off to your desired wattage (or temperature, if vaping in TC). It is adjustable over the first nine seconds, in .5-second intervals.

So, let's say you vape at 80w, and you want a faster ramp time. You can set the mod to hit at 120w for the first couple of seconds and then go to 80w for the next 8 seconds, at which point the mod should time out.

When you say shock you, do you mean literally. Like an electric shock. I've had microphones do that when they're not grounded but never a mod.
