Good evening ladies and germs...

Oh, Hi Dale! Yup, looks kinda like you got some rain headed your way. Seems to be some snow hung up on the Sierra-Nevadas and a touch in eastern NV and SW UT.

We're supposed to be white here for the next couple days too.

That radar picture must of been wrong, it's raining like a SOB at the moment....or that is one FAST moving storm. If that's the case, should be clear by morning......:teehee:

How was your day, Rich?

Just finished working about an hour ago....a very LONG day......
Very long day here too. It was monthly shopping day. At the second stop, I had to throw a bunch of pine shavings bags in the bed of my truck (no one came out of the store to help), then climb up in the bed and stack them. When getting back out, my foot slipped off the bumper and I was headed for a major crash. My brain instantly flashed to that conversation with the back doctor who told me the next time I fall on my ass I might well snap my spinal cord and spend the rest of forever in a wheelchair, so I immediately threw my arm out to hook it on the tailgate. Twisted my knee a bit, but did NOT land on my butt. However, the saving arm was my right one, which has been in pain for a month already and now hurts one helluva lot more and I still had 170 more miles to drive and three major stores to shop, including loading 100 pounds of chicken (dog meat), 80 pounds of cat litter, and five 35-pound cat and dog food bags on the cart, off the cart, into the truck (plus all the usual groceries) ..... AND... it's a long-drive day, so the leg cramps have started already. I can tell it is going to be a lovely night tonight. o_O

hi all

my sym for the shit day drac
somedays ya just wish you hadnt bothered
Really not looking for sympathy, Phil. That was just a typical diary entry from one of the Old Pharts. And if you ever truly wish you hadn't bothered, that would be time to check out because every day, no matter how hard, has SOME merit. In spite of the pains, I did get the monthly shopping done and, at the moment, a little tiger-striped pussy is curled up on my lap trying to make me feel less cynical, and I appreciate his efforts greatly.

All you need is love (background chorus: Love, love, love is all you need)

Some "aged" cider.......
Yeah, only da good chit, mon....

That just rewound a mind movie from being 10 years old. My best friend at the time took me up in the hay loft of their barn and showed me where his dad had hid some bottled cider (they routinely juiced most of their orchard apples). He pulled down one bottle and we each had a few chugs. Damn! Like to burned my tongue off, but the after effects made me feel like I could float away. Good stuff.

Well, folks, it is after midnight and my tired head says I have already stayed up too long, so I'm going to crawl in the sack now and crash.

Yak at y'all tomorrow night.

G'afternoon My Old Phart Friends, eye Dr appt. brought no good news, he told me to rest them a lot, which i don't see that being much of a chance of that, way behind on my research, going to ice them down now and will try to get on later maybe
Hang in there, buddy. Time will heal this too.

Anyway, how was your day?
Rained like hell all night, but was nice today.
Overcast, windy, foggy all day. Other than routine chores, just did some little stuff. Right at the moment, the fog is so thick I can't see the barn (about 50 yards away), it's 35 degrees and the snow storm is expected to start at midnight.

You get any sleep last night after the tumble escapade yesterday?
