Low flavour, please help! advice, or juices too try

Hi im in I guess my 2nd year of vaping, have my favoured mod and aegis legend with a bonza RDA with some Alien coils.

Im currently vaping Bad Drip, Bad blood and various others, bazooka, mr butters, double drip but I always find flavour is a bit low. im currently fluttering around 55-65W on the mod and when I have had flavour on bad drip its been great but hits like that are few and far between and im unsure why. im even looking at more 10mls too try oh and I vape with zero nicotine, im a flavour and anxiety vapor lol

Might try a drip tip with a narrower bore. You could also try switching out around juice profiles. If all your juices are desserts or custards you likely just need to change it up now and then.

Thanks for the advice yeah i have fruits and sweets mainly. Ill try the drip tip advice i think i have tge 510 adaptor still somewhere. Il about too do a rewick as its been a couple of weeks, thinking maybe too much cotton through the coils? So im only getting surface vapor i dont know still a nooby i guess lol. Ill try too upload pics before and after the rewick if the might give clues

Here was my build

Try spacing your coils. Also note that the exact same coil in Ni80 or Ni200 will give you ~30% more flavour than Kanthal or SS316L. Also I rewick and clean the burnt residue buildup off my coils every 2-3 days. Try that too. Find the airflow opening that yields the max flavour. Sometimes it’s different from what “feels right”.

Apparently SS316L mesh wicks give better flavour than organic cotton and Rayón, but I’ve yet to try it out myself.

If all else fails, mesh is the absolute upper limit so far in terms of flavour, my Wotofo Profile gives me better flavour than my Wasp Nano or my Kali V2.

In fairness these are the first coils i bought, i mean at 7 pounds a pack or there abouts i want too try a standard clapton. Maybe even buy a coiling kit so i can get wider coils, more surface area i guess may help. Ive tried since last night a 50/50 juice and i get more but still not a lot. But thank you all for the pointers and tips they all help

Such sage advice from someone with a long and illustrious history of expertise here on VU and in the worldwide community of vaping in general. I can see why you treat our experience like chopped liver

Nichrome isn't nickel anyways

While many people have great success with Ni and love it very much, many of us with refined palates get a terrible taste with NI and the OP should know this ;)

Nonsense.
Bow before your emperor Nickel.

All jokes aside I was apprehensive about there being some sort of nickely taste, maybe I got lucky, so far it just tastes slightly less intense than kanthal mesh, but not by very much. Mind you I’m on Ni80 and I’ve yet to try Ni200.

That said I’ve built and vaped Kanthal, SS316L and Titanium coils over the years and though SS seems to have a slightly cleaner taste, I find the flavour intensity not quite as strong as Nickel, perhaps stronger than Kanthal. Though so far the difference hasn’t been huge.

In terms of health and safety, tbh based on the info that’s out there, SS316L is probably the least risky of the lot.

TL;DR

Bow before your emperor Nickel.

Ni80 and Ni200 are vastly different from Nickel. Ni80 and 200 are nichrome and made to be used in wattage mode. Nickel cannot be used in wattage mode and must used in temp control only. Please do not refer to nichrome as Nickel as you will confuse new vapers.

i can say this a good mesh coil with large surface area with the mesh and air flow right is divine for flavor. in terms of diy wrap coils the one thing i found that helped me when i went flavor blind was switching to simple space coils (1.0 resistance or even 1.5) with lower wattages vs lower ohms and higher watts and correct air flow and coil placements. higher pg can help and drink plenty of fluids.
