Tell me how to build for a dual coil single 20700 unreg. mod please.

She may be teaching me a lesson. :D That's 135 watts ya'll.

It's not that many watts haha - take into account voltage sag from within the battery (3.8 volts is put out, max, under that load) and voltage drop from the mod - 3.5 volts is a good roundabout number to use to guess your wattage with :D

Ok at that voltage then it's roughly 95 watts. :)

I have a dual 18650 series box on the way from Jmodz.

I know you have to build higher for these, but I was sitting here thinking

"man, what have I done? That thing's gonna decapitate me."

I like to vape around 0.5 ohms on series, still a fast vape but not overpowering

Easier to build for, sort of - just cram as many wraps of a higher gauge in there as you can :D

It's so much easier when you can see something and experience it. This was a huge step in my education.

Definitely turned a corner and am headed in the right direction now.

I got 10 of these coils for $6. Had to end up taking a wrap out and installing a pair in my Kennedy 25 on a Kennedy vindicator. Measures about .1ohms. Just a little hot with a fresh charge, but then settles in to a warm, dense vape until new battery is needed. Pretty fancy coils for super cheap. Just a thought.
I appreciate that friend, but as it turns out, I just got a bunch of wire from LV. I like building. :)

If you have some simple 24g Nichrome you can have that thing creating atmospheres in your room very easily. With a mildly warm fun vape. 5 wraps, 3.5 mm inside diameter 24g nichrome will yield a fast ramp and very good vape.

And better flavor than you'd expect, for single, round-wire coils. I've just wound a few of these within the last couple days.

On a mech squonk I usually stay around .23give or take

Eh, about 0.30 here, vary my wire NiChrome, stainless, Kanthal ... might mix/match or do all same. .30 -.50 does okay for me, depends on how i want the battery doing, two days or just eight hours.

*checks his Nichrome supply & grumbles softly* 32 & 28, no 24 --- but i can do alright with those as well, just a little touch of this and that, viola. :)

Everybody's telling me different stuff
All pretty much pointed in the same general direction though.
I have some experimenting to do.

There is no one right answer, you could ask 319 people and get 349 different answers. Experimentation is always necessary.

Agreed, and sometimes what you have one day may change the next day. You might have a good build doing well day one, try it again on day two and it's crap. Then, it's about tweaking, fine tuning your process, or realizing sometimes you need just say fuck it and try something else. Attempting perfection can lead to sanity, or insanity, difficult for me to recall. :)

Don't dismiss the satisfaction you can achieve with a simpler build.

Nope, not ever. Sometimes a simple 28g kanthal 5 or 7 wrap 3 mm ID does wonderful. :)

Happy note here. Someone got a nice battery powered drill. *sighs* Makes turning wire a lot nicer, lots cleaner, more uniform. *sticks thumb up* made some real nice 2 x 28 / 36 fused yesterday. it's doing well in the Gorge. :)
