waiting til the morning. When I had kids we would do one on Christmas Eve and the rest in the morning. A long family thing.
Now it's just me and I would do one but there are not many, so I will report back tomorrow.
My Kids and Granskids are in Cali. Washington State and Japan, so phone calls tomorrow from all of them.

Yes, I am old fashion, phone calls, not texts or online stuff accepted. laughs....

Meaning it's cool with me no matter how or if someone celebrates Christmas..

Nothing. My family and I don't do Xmas. because we don't want to participate in the consumerist crapfest that it really is. We prefer offering ourselves gifts all year round :)

OH. Firstly I'm British....so you didn't.............I did not thank you....but you are welcome. I gave 16 years....and I celebrate Christmas, but do not exchange gifts because it is not MY birthday.....nor anyone else's that is living. For the record...."Sir" is a title of respect. Not sure what the issue is.....but whatever it is....it is not my fault.

It's our families tradition to have a big dinner and exchange gifts.

Sounds wonderful. Sadly, aside from my kids who are grown (one in the Army...one a very busy and successful Chef) I have no family anymore in the chromosomal sense. Merry Christmas to you Newheart301 and enjoy the warmth of your tradition!

Sorry didn't know about the British thing. I was a " Black Shoe" in the USN. Being called sir was considered a slur among Gunnersmates! Blue-collar deck hands.
