Basically, yes.
Its one of those forumulas you have to use to find a variable letting you solve another equation.

Evidently it’s real nerd stuff.

I looked it up, watched a quick video on it and it reminded me just how stupid I really am lol

Seriously though, was interested and watched the whole video and the correlation it has with Newton's Law in that the equations are written the same way but rather than figuring the gravity you're figuring for force.

Exactly ..
I used it a lot in the power courses for my EE.
Haven’t used it since; but, extremely interesting; and, dare I say it: fun.
Was just cool how everything you want to know about something is there, assuming you know where to look.

Dpro is a 24mm RDA. I just got one yesterday. When I went to put a single coil in it, I made it 4mm.

The coil in this RDA does not look like 2.5mm to me. Is it really? If so, why would you put such a small coil into that RDA if you're only using one?

But I really think this coil looks closer to my 4mm one than to a 2.5mm.

Plus, Cotn threads would be too bulky and thick for a 2.5mm coil. Cotton in this does not look overcrowded.

ETA: I measured this thing. That coil, at least in my observation, is either 4 or 4.5mm.

Boost: The “boost” portion of the buck-boost converter is used to make the input voltage produce an output voltage that is greater than the input voltage.
I think this picture here can explain it...hopefully between Ohms and Watts law... take note to the major missing piece ;)

Not to :deadhorse: And I don't want tomatoes in my face, so I'll just leave it at this.
When I use watts law and plug in the numbers, still doesn't add, but no worries, I'll get. Using the formula, like you described in 483, is easier. In a way then, at least for those that have buck/boost, it's like using amps or volts to get the set wattage.

Yes they are 30Q.

It's not one of the challenge issues and thought someone might catch it by now, but the mod is parallel, Paranormal 75C is another.

Love you man :)

Do me a favor, for I over looked it...

Parallel = Higher Amps same voltage (4.2)
Series = Higher Voltage (8.4) with same Amps

Change your configuration to 8.4v to reflect series ;)

upload_2019-1-17_14-57-8.png

or 3.2v(in series) 6.4v

upload_2019-1-17_14-58-8.png

Pretty sure those numbers are more in line with the ones I posted

Hi5!

Yes, knew series = amps x 1/volts x 2, parallel = amps x 2 / volts x 1

Those configurations make it easier too.

Ok, so it was just input error on your behalf then that had you stumped?

Sweet!

No. Actually. Well, in a way, but the mod is parallel, can't double the voltage in the example as you would series. But using regulated single battery voltage in the example, you can know you have amps of 1 batt x 2.

I believe you about the mod being parallel, it was a mistake on my end thinking it was a series mod.

But everything else I said about the batteries is spot on ;)

There's not a lot of places to find info or specs on Creator or even some of the details about 75C. Even Vapecige's website has zilch about their own mod. Thats ok. I'm the one that posed series question.
Yes it is :D

Alrighty. Lets see this thing get solved. I am going to put together a special edition one this afternoon. The rest of these are easy, two of them are being danced around openly. Very, very close.

APIWATW #11- @Vape Fan Edition

View attachment 129208

Build Info-
Mod- Creator 75C in bypass mode
RDA- Dpro
Coils- 2x24/32 316L 2.5id @ .11Ω
Batteries- Samsung 30Q
E-Liquid- The Sauce LA Capone
Cotton- Cotton Threads

Issues-
1. No Battery Insulator on Battery rewrap (Doomsday Vaper)
2.DNA Creator 75C mod doesn't offer bypass mode (Choderfett)
3. Battery upside down (Choderfett)
4.
5.

Subjective (Yes, Please)
1. I find the juice to be rather shit (So619Cal) (Note: Mild edit to make the snip make sense. This particular juice IMO tastes like an air freshener.

Just 2 more..
One has been hinted at...
The other was a passing thought that didn't materialize. You'll have to dig deep for this one, it's not in the photos.

Neither have anything to do with series / parallel / 30Q / or calculating amp draw.

I'd like to mention something which bothered me about this mod...

Dual battery and also works with one battery... got that...but why would the mod power up if its supposed to have polarity protection, since one battery has been mentioned was installed the wrong way?

Or is that one of the deals... polarity protection is borked lol

ha ha Surprised you/no one caught [parallel] earlier when we knew mod was lit w/1 battery :D And you know, at least most I presume, will run on 1 battery. I know you can figure out how I did it. Myself?, there's more than that, so I'm going to wait till it's all done to give a short synopsis of my build trickery:devil:

Well there is ways to do it... one could simply block the contact with paper and place the battery in... I was just bothered by the notion that the polarity protection may not work as intended

I used plastic to insulate the upside down battery. Reverse polarity protection is not one of the issues

Good thinking.
I'm not saying whether the mod has protection or not we will have to look and see. I'm just saying that it is not one of the two remaining challenges.

No one had the Black version of the mod, including in the states.
Got it from Vapecige store at AliExpress but before that I looked at other China vendors.

OK. One you can see in the pics, and 1 you cant. Think I said that already so this can just be a bump.
The one you can see isn't that difficult and has been hinted, you just have to look.
The other has to be found, and where has been hinted at.

No dice on the last two? Means its time for a hint. Lets see if this gets the troubleshooting juices flowing. One is up top and the other is down below.

No squonk pin in this one good sir. These last ones be a trick and a very common thing that we see regularly from new vapers. Telling you guys, @Vape Fan put a lot of thought into this one.

This one has nothing to do with the coil, but the issue is around the coil. The other one is more in regard to basic operation. Lets get this one licked, we have a special @DonBaldy edition coming up next. We whipped up a ridiculous one for you all.

Get a DMT extra coarse stone to start, get that burr and rest you can do easily.

Make sure to have a medium strop with some green compound and finish on a smooth strop with some .25 micron diamond spray.

I have spent enough time trying to get that one right. As soon as I start getting an edge it collapses. Its a beautiful skinner and I want it razor sharp for the purpose of skinning. Will probably just pay someone to do it, so I can actually use it.

Then you're wanting the wrong angle that the steel can support.

Might want to try adding a micro bevel to help support.

Good working angles which are easy to do is a 30/40 15DPS with a 20DPS Micro bevel.

upload_2019-1-19_15-13-32.png

Plus, you can get a wicked sharp edge just using a 600/1000 wetstone and strop

I don't see anything that jumps out... I mentioned a page or two ago what's also been mentioned about the coils look like the wrap isn't installed into the clamping of the RDA... others mentioned the wicking (Burnt and not burnt) Pretty sure I mentioned the side swept cotton and how that can affect air flow, someone else mentioned that the coil is larger than 2.5mm...

To look closer at the pictures, its just blurry, and mentioned that when I wanted to look at the screen info...

Things I thought and just stabbing in the dark...

Not using the shoelace cotton and actually using the CB on the right, but that was mentioned also a few ago.

Me I still don't think those are 30Qs, they have differing crimping than the 3 sets I have...could really tell if I was able to see the actual positive clearly, and see the tooling mark within the seal and also the prongs.

I also thought the cap for the RDA wasnt right... Don't know enough about it, nor would it be in my wheel house ;) But it seemed the AF for a turn style cyclops was to small, normally they are the same width of the AF slots on the RDA, seems a small to large would just cause whistling...but its hard to tell when you can't focus up on the photo before it becomes pixelated, that and its black in bad lighting lol

Heck as far as I know, the coils are touching the deck.
