How many devices do you vape in a typical day

There was a similar question asked about three years and my response was the same as yours. I used a Sigelei Zmax and couldn’t believe that people owned double digit mods and used several a day. I had two Zmax’s and one was a backup that didn’t get used.
Fast forward to today and I have a couple squonkers, a handful of dual cell box mods, the other hand is full of single cell mods, and a ton of rda’s, rta’s, and enough driptips to give one to every man, woman, and child in North America.
My advice to you is run. Don’t look back just run. This is highly contagious and before you know it you will be sleeping, eating, dreaming, and thinking of vape gear. What vape gear you want, what vape gear you need. When’s the next sale or when is that new mod or atomizer gonna be released. Is there a pre-order I can get in on. You will be stalking your mail carrier, fedex, ups, and dhl drivers. It’s a sickness and if you don’t amputate immediately you run the risk of infection. I haven’t even talked about juices. Mixing, pg, vg, flavorings, TFA, Inawera, Cappela, DIYFS, oh god please, I’m too far gone but you have time, save yourself, get away and tell our story, warn others......

Nah not me! I only have five vaping items on the way right now...
A squonk mod
A coily tool
A cooling rod
Nichrome clapton coils
Nichrome and SS mesh coils

I’m more interested in juice, juice, juice.

My next major order will likely be my first foray into DIY juice mixing.

Well start making some room for bottles. You are gonna need lots and lots of flavoring. Also enough room in you freezer for a couple liters of nicotine. I thought you still had time to get out but apparently I was wrong. Down the rabbit hole you go. All we can do now is just be there and support each other....and share recipes, knowledge of good sales, and a heads up for any good looking mods or atomizers that are coming out. Seriously though diy juice is one of my favorite things about vaping. You get to be creative, save money (once you get some recipes you like) and control everything about your juice. When you finally make some juice you love it’s really quite rewarding. Good luck and be sure to share any good recipes once you get started mixing.

I keep a Kanger Kbox mini with Subtank mini on my nightstand.
I keep a Kbox Mini with original Merlin RTA on both my upstairs and downstairs computer stations.
I keep a Pico Squeeze with Wasp Nano ready for out and about with a belt holder.

That is it for me.
Of course I have about 20 more mods, tanks, RDA's etc in backup.

Ohh and I do have a Pico squeeze with Wasp with juice and batteries in my go bag too :)
along with Kindle, power bank, etc.

all my juice is the same right now and has been for a while.
Cromwells Custard.
Damn that sounds better than my custom ejuice....

The denial is strong in this one. Hello Izanagi7 meet rabbit hole.

My prediction for 2019 is that I’ll spend maybe 1000$ on juice, including DIY supplies and labware.

I’ll probably get an OBS Engine Nano to replace my leaky battery hog TFV8, I might get an MTL RDA just out of curiosity, and maybe one cloud chasing RDA, I currently only have flavour RDAs.

In terms of mods, though, I’m quite picky when it comes to aesthetics, ergonomics and build quality. Took me weeks to decide on my first squonker and I decided to go with the GeekVape Gbox. Pulled the trigger when it went on special last week. Frankly, with a 200W squonk mod, it’ll pretty much do everything I’d want a mod to do, so I don’t really need any other mods as such.

I love the way the VooPoo Alpha One looks, for instance, but after trying it out, it’s uncomfortable to hold and I don’t care for the menu system so I’m not gonna get one. The SMOK Mag on the other hand is lovely. It feels so good to hold, it’s so well made. I love it. I don’t need it, but supposing I ended up buying another mod this year, it would probably be a Mag. Aside from that, I’m not interested in mech mods, stabwood mods are certainly impressive looking art objects, but not really my style, and cost more than I’m interested in paying for a mod. The DNA250 LV Drone seems like a good mod, but I rarely l use TC, so I think the benefits of a DNA chip would be lost on me.

Juice is really what I like. I spend hours at vape shops trying plenty of different kinds, I think I spend about 200$/mo on juice currently, hopefully that’ll come down when I start DIY, but I also suspect it might instead go up. Only time will tell.

Scoot scoot scoot, pepper scoot. Pepper scoot. Pepper scoot.

Manny out of the millions of possible combinations, the scores of delicious recipes out there... You choose to make Grape Pepper Steak.

Now why would you do such a decidedly un-scooty thing?

Be careful with the SMOK Mag. I like you felt exactly the same way about it. Mine broke about 40 days in. The plate with the 510 where you screw your atomizer in just popped right out. It came loose very quickly. I LOVED that mod too.

Yikes. Was this after a drop? If it popped out on its own did SMOK offer some sort of repair/replacement?

I didn't get in touch with SMOK, I was really annoyed at a vape shop in my area at this point. They did nothing to take care of it, they cover like 30 days and I was at like 38 days, AND they said it was a common problem with the mod. It was not after a drop, just regular wear and tear. I am going to try and fix it on my own. I need to solder wire and try and super glue the plate back on. The mod feels so amazing in your hand, the way the battery case drops out like a clip, the thing is awesome, except for that one issue.

Agreed. Well that’s good to know if it’s a known issue.

Did you buy it with a credit card? Many cards have extended warranty on electronics. If memory serves they cover defects up to one year beyond the manufacturers warranty even in cases of theft.

I hope you realize that I kid and am not intending on being a jerk.

I do hope you have found what works for you and can stay there, but I also speak from experience. I hope you do have more will power than most of us to avoid shinyitus. Many times I've been where you are and "satisfied" with what I had and it would last for months only to see something the piqued my curiosity and then it was down another rabbit hole. OR, I'd thought I had the perfect set up only for it to break a few months later and the search was on for the next perfect (for me) device.

What I have found is that no two devices or atomizers vape the same. Like you TC was not for me, but the DNA device I have provides a very pleasant vape in wattage mode. It's very well made and I feel I'll probably have it for a long time. I also had not interest in mechs until I tried one. Vaping a mech changed the vaping game for me. I'm still amazed the such a simple device can provide such a superior (my opinion) vape.

In the end it's whatever makes each individual content enough to keep from smoking cigarettes.

I’d pursue SMOK before trying a DIY fix. If they do offer to fix or replace it, i imagine they’ll only do it if it hasn’t been otherwise altered. If they refuse, then the DIY route it is.

Btw if you use an adhesive called T-7000 that would be better for the type of repair you’re describing. Won’t leave that frosty residue that super glue does.

I will try that. I'm not pursuing SMOK. I don't have the time or energy to deal with it, and much like @JuicyLucy said, most of what i've seen is that SMOK will be of little to no help at all. I would love to get this mod up and running so I can throw my BONZA RDA on it. My tiny little pulse squonk mod doesn't really have enough power to run it and I really like that RDA with an SS fused clapton dual coil build. I have my Dead rabbit RTA on my Ironfist mod and my Profile on my Recurve. I have an olderish SMOK Pro Color that I dropped in the water when I was out hiking. I loved that mod too. I really like SMOK's mod's but I am not sure of their quality is all. I'm not saying you shouldn't buy it, I'm just saying beware. Part of the reason I was sold on teh UWELL Ironfist was 1 because of it's simplicity, 2 because that plate has 3 screws in it that go into the mod, when it gets a little loose all I have to do is tighten them down.

Smok is like buying a sporty looking Yugo. Still crap even if it looks good.
Well, when your local vape shop has a case full of SMOK mods and that is what they recommend because maybe they don't know any better, it is hard to know any better yourself. I have been vaping for 3 or 4 years, 2 years full time no cigs and up until about this past year, I really had no idea what was good or that there was a world out there beyond pre-built sub ohm tank atomizers and I really had NO IDEA that there was a world of ejuice literally at my very own fingertips that I could create and tinker with until about 2 months ago.

Do not know any better? Or do not care if they sell crap because of more profit?
I hit a few vape shops when I first started vaping.
had no use for clouds bro clouds types and kids making fun of an old guy using cigalikes.
I was there to spend $100 or so upgrading, but left without buying anything.
I buy all of my vape stuff online.
And got my vape knowledge online not from vape shops.
Kind of like going to a Chevy dealer and asking them about Fords...
They will do their darnedest to sell you what they have.

There is a really good vape shop in my area that I still give business to and a couple I don't. None of those vape cloud bros and certain employees are not only very knowledgable but very helpful. One guy, in particular, has prevented me from purchasing things I shouldn't on multiple occasions and I usually don't buy anything unless he is in because I trust his advice, but there are plenty like you are describing.

Most mass production vape companies are poor at any warranty service and many that do honor it take many months for resolution.
Smok seems to be the bottom of the barrel though.
Many of their products just seem to be designed to maybe make it thru the warranty period.

I’ve always had excellent service from the guys at the G2 main store in my hometown of Brossard near Montreal. Always get great deals because I’ve been shopping there for years, and decent hardware recommendations. Back when I started building coils on my old kanger subtank, their chemist walked me through the process step by step.

I also get great service from the Citronic on Cote des Neiges in Montreal. To the point where one of their builders spent 45 minutes guiding me on how to build on my TFV8 when I was having dry hits on it and he did a great job. I hadn’t even bought it there, I just regularly buy juice at their shop.

It’s nice to have great, honest service, but I do find that the more knowledgeable guys tend to recommend products their shop doesn’t carry. I’ve learned about good stuff this way, including the Wasp Nano, but it’s also only sort-of helpful.

The main downside I’ve encountered at retail vape shops in my area is:

1. Poorly organized product ordering system. It’s the old “write yer name, phone # and product name on a piece of paper and maybe call you back”

2. Limited product availability. Since they deal with suppliers rather than directly from manufacturers, you get strange situations like “We have the GeekVape Aegis Legend in stock but the Gbox isn’t available from our supplier”. I don’t understand how their supplier works, but this is a major limitation.

3. Juices are expensive in retail shops. Particularly at my local shop, Citronic, you’re looking at 30-35$CAD for a 60ml. Import duties are exorbitant on juices that contain nicotine, so options are quite limited in that sense. Either import 0% juice and add nic yourself, or go full on DIY. I’m considering a combination of both.

But what's weird is your lucky to get a 90 day warranty.....

And if you do need it.......

After a month a Smok priv was Auto firing I sent it to China they received it and told me the warranty expired and sent it back not repaired.......

It took (2) months to get there and be serviced.....

That's why usually 30 day warranty or 90 days.....

They know they got you by the balls...... Or the ovaries......
