So this is another original creation. I discovered peanut butter flavor one night after a friend requested something with peanut butter. I found a Peanut Butter Cup recipe that was pretty damn tasty. I then went on a peanut butter binge and decided I had to make something good with it. This is as close as I've gotten, it's not perfect and the wife doesn't like the smell of the vapor (it's not bad, just not delicious and fruity like many that I vape, she also had pregnant nose at the time...).

Any feedback on this one would be greatly appreciated. It gets better with time but is vapable after a quick hot water bath or super vigorous shake.

0.8% FA Cookie
0.5% FA Vienna Cream
1% CAP Vanilla Custard
0.5% TFA Butterscotch
15% TFA Peanut Butter
1% Lemon Juice

The lemon helps the peanut butter to 'pop' surprisingly enough. This one is still under construction and I'll be trying a handful of different PB combos in it during October. Just had to take a break from it as I was getting frustrated.

i'd drop that tfa peanut butter down to 3% and use fa peanut butter at 2% with a tiny bit of fw peanut butter at .5%

good luck!

Will do smoky, at the time I made this up (don't get me wrong it's exceptionally tasty) TFA PB was all I had. When I first mixed it (5%, then 8%, then 12%, then 15%) it came through the most and tasted best overall to me @ 15%.

That should answer neverbeentovegas's question as well. It is 15%.

Wow, thanks for the reply. I don't think I've seen too many of your recipes with that high a % for one ingredient. I guess you do what's right for that recipe though. Cheers!

Yeah, Unfortunately, some people feel TFA PB is very strong, others think it's superbly weak. I don't know if it's something with how they manufacturer it that it varies based on batch, or if it's really just taste preference. I'm in the boat of 'it's super weak'. It took 15% to make it the prominent ingredient in this recipe.

On a side note, I know that your posting of your recipes is likely as much learning and discussing for you as it is for us. I have to say though, that I've learned a lot from you here and on Reddit. Thanks!

I think tfa's pb is consistent as we've been using it for a year and has always taken around 15% or so for us to get the pb flavor we're after. Had several people tell me that mixing it with Capella pb made the perfect pb...highly disagree (imho). None of the three vapers in my house cared for Capella's at all. I've tried to do a pb cookie so many times and it's the cookie part I can never get to come through.

hint: look at the ingredients in a few real pb cookie recipes
Just gave me an idea. Not sure how I feel about using Butter flavors though. Acetoin level is so damn high in that stuff...

Definitely missed the brown sugar though. Thanks HIC! Will whip up a new variation once my re-supply of flavors arrives at the end of the week and we'll see what happens.

Need to get my wife to start mixing the bakery recipes, she's the baker in the family after all!

Sometimes if a flavor is done at too high of a percentage, it will have an adverse effect and taste weak. Maybe your initial percentage was too high? Not saying this is the case here, just saying that it can explain the variance in tastes outside of personal preference/taste buds.

That definitely has a ton of merit to it.

FWIW, those looking for a peanut butter cookie recipe, keep most of the rest of the above the same, drop the TFA Peanut Butter down to maybe 10-12% but add up to 1% of Inawera 'Peanuts' flavor.

OMG is all I have to say. A few other minor additions to the one I sell but damn is that stuff good.
