S152, without doubt is a standout block. The gold entwined in the midnight blue is exquisite. Now most of what I read here is totally beyond me, but I do do knives, and that block would make a beautiful handle for a gentleman’s fixed blade of fine steel, M390 or Elmax, maybe a Scandi silversteel for shine. As part of a mod, I see good things.

You guys talk a different language. I’m just discovering the sheer joy of the Freemax Mesh Pro (that pisses out liquid in my pocket due to the ridiculous sliding top), and a SX-Mini to power it. When I’m not mopping up, it’s a pretty joyful experience. Asmodus Minikin and Fireluke mesh is more pocket friendly. Can’t do the smilies for some reason, please accept a grin.

S158. But me, I feel damascus is gonna be a bit busy with a busy block. The block is beautiful, but if you really want the damascus, then get something simple for the block, so that the damascus really wows alone.

Damascus steel, any type of burlwood, and quilted maple are my 3 favorite aesthetics. I do have a few Damascus steel knives that are an absolute joy to work with.

I did do a Damascus steel faceplate on a mod using a dna75c board it was the hardest thing to mill the miller was groaning and so was i....

Yup. When made correctly (there are a lot a fake Damascus steels out there), it's incredibly hard and durable. And a PITA to work with.

I'm curious to see how this stacks up against the Dvarw. I'm running one now alongside a KFL+ and a KF5 (MTL insert installed) and I definitely prefer the Dvarw over both.

This is so true. I’ve seen so many overindulgent knife makers make knives that are just too busy, where the materals and workmanship are superb, but the final result looks a bit of a confused mess. A good looking mess, but not where one special material is balanced with another.

Forgive me not reading the whole story here, but it seems to me you’re coupling an amazing burl block with a beautifully folded and forged steel mix. One part of this combo needs to clean and simple, like a nickel steel. Block S152 and silver. Block i902 with gunblued steel would work really well too. i900 is crazy like a good quality Briar pipe, it would look awesome with black ano fittings.

If the damascus has the magic, then a block of Ebony or Wenge would compliment.

Battery life would be great but it just seems rather unwieldy. Definitely a stay-at-home mod.

I went the whole month of January without spending on vaping. The thing is though, I started liking a new realm of what we do. Before, I used every type of gear barring RDAs and squonkers. Imagine that (For those of you that strickly squonk or use RDAs). Now I have my eyes on things I udually didn't pay attention to. RDA decks, and squonk bottle delivery systems.. There's so many products on my radar that I want to try.

I broke down yesterday and ordered another Feedlink and Drop Solo. I also ordered a Profile RDA. Every respectable RDA user needs to try atleast one I'm guessing. I put a decent coil in my Recurve RDA. It's working awesome. * thinks "I should have more of these" * I'm on the verge of ordering a Rebirth RDA and a Basium. The Recurve mod keeps calling my name too. Help me Obi-Wan Kanobi...you're my only hope.

Pssst....VaporRange has the Rebirth RDA for $20.95 and the Recurve mod for $24.95. I haven't seen any other place that even comes close (free shipping, too).

I want a Rebirth baaad, and bought the Recurve mod a couple weeks ago. It works great, feels absolutely great in the hand, even though it has some weight to it. It is so ergonomic and super easy to use.

ETA: Just ordered a stainless Rebirth. Yay!

Don't order anything until you vape the profile. Not saying you're going to like it, we know some don't....but you may not need another recurve...

I had been under control for several weeks when I was catching up on this thread. And then the itch came back. Went to MyFreedomSmokes just to see if they had any Profiles left. Sold out @ $16. Distraught I perused the other selections and what do I find, Hellbeast for $18. I surrendered . Added a box of mesh coils and a box of Nautilus coils. Still not reaching the free shipping I had to go on. Gunmetel OBS Cube w/ mesh tank and more coils....

So now I'm debating between the new KFL, another Dvarw MTL, or an EVL Reaper V3 to run on my Visionary Mods Ballet when it comes...

Already running an OG KFL+ and a V5 with MTL insert, so I think that's out. Can't imagine it will vape any different really.

Dvarw is my favorite by far, but a PITA to get with randomizer and such.

EVL Reaper V3 is an unknown value to me so I'd be taking a chance but reviews all seem good.

Thoughts from the shiny addicted collective?

I’m sure the vape will be damn close if not identical to past kayfuns, but it’s new

Doesn’t look like the price will be bad at all compared, I kinda want a 24mm, have plenty of 22’s plus the extra capacity.
