Stopping In To Say Hello

Just wanted to drop in and say hello to everyone here! :wave:It's been a pretty tough few weeks on my end.

Long story short. Between my car being messed up a few months back and that saga. Well, my bike was ran over by a totally irresponsible 17-year old that threatened to leave the scene of the accident.20190207_175925.jpg 2019-02-25 03.35.55.jpg 2019-02-25 03.36.38.jpg Screenshot_2019-02-19-21-56-16.jpg I'm fine, no harm done to me. The bike was just deemed a total loss due to all the "bling" I had added to it that ended up being damaged. My heart is broke and yes, I have cried.

I've been burning up the roads going out of state taking care of my car business and bike business and have found another bike. Now the wait on both my bike and still my car. Seems I'll have another bike before the car gets fixed, still.

Insurance to settle I'm thinking this coming week. I wrote out a check for my bike on Friday. (Yay). Thursday the bike was placed on a shipping truck in good faith (you never hear of this these days) in hopes I'll have it in time of my yearly journey in March out of state for a few weeks. So things are looking up.

I'll be back on here soon enough, missing all of you here! Hope everyone is well. I had to up my nic levels over all of this. Guess it was to be expected. Lol :)

Pics are of my old bike and my new one. The black one was a close runner up, just didn't like the shaft drive and went with a belt driven bike! :) The damage doesn't look bad, but it was. Pic didn't show the frame damage.

I'm having pretty good luck on my DIY juice and letting it steep throughout all this since I get to stop and make a few bottles and forget it these days. But I'm vaping the heck out of my old bought juice. The struggle is real! !!!:tantrum::giggle:

I'm so sorry to hear this happened to you, but am glad to hear that you weren't hurt. That, at least is a blessing. Mixing juice can be fun as well as a stress reliever. Have some fun with it, you never know, you might come up with a new and amazing juice with by accident or even on purpose.

It will eventually work out in the end, so don't lose hope. Just take care of yourself, you aren't alone. Many here call you friend and are here for you if you need us.

Sorry to hear this Jenn, some irresponsible turds in this world :(

Thank you, I agree. She was rather smart-mouthed. Only until her grandmother showed up did she start acting like she had any remorse for what had happened. Really sad. Her grandparents were awesome and her grandfather was a prominent preacher in the community. They had custody over her and had a handful of issues already. I felt bad for them but not for her. Was there a lesson learned? Probably not, unfortunately. Sickened me to lose my bike after all the work I had done to it. I truly loved that little thing and it was the last of it's kind. The dealership always wanted it and said even Saturday they would have easily put a $5k tag on it and sold it without a doubt. Hard to strip a bike like that...:(

Oh, if you only knew how close I was to yanking the foul attitude out of her that afternoon I was....Well, you probably do. Thought she was in her mid 20's. Let alone 17! Between the rolling of eyes, the mouth and her best friend as well, yep...Orange was about my color. I see that Baron BAK on yours. I had one. My new to me bike has it as well. The appraiser only gave me $125 credit for mine and $25 for the K&N, which that was $80 in itself. You are right, my life is more important. Sad thing is that my bike was parked at my dad's house on his property and she drove onto his yard, backing out from next door!!! Told me after I told her not to roll her eyes at me that she could have just left the scene and I would have never known who hit my bike! Yep, that happened. My bike was by itself, nowhere near anyone nor on anyone's property but dad's.

You have a beautiful bike. Love the powder coat. Vulcan's are sweet. We had a Vulcan Classic with the 2050cc in it when those first came out. That thing would fly! I know you love yours! I cannot wait for mine to come in. The shipping company should have it here in the next week, hopefully no incidentals on the road, fingers are crossed. LOL I'll have every bit of maybe a day or two to get in a few miles before I take on a 13 hour trip south on mine. Maybe my luck is turning. :)

Yes, I believe it is a stress reliever! I believe I actually got better in mixing, I didn't overthink and just went with it. Actually I messed up a recipe my like 4g on flavoring on one then just added like I was cooking for the rest and tried the mess. Turned out great but put a HUGE "X" on the bottle and vaped it immediately. lol Thank goodness for a 20ml mix. It was actually not bad either. Started out as a cinnamon toast cereal and I loosened it up with a custard (that's where the error was), turned out yummy.

I'm trying to keep my head up. For every road block I'm pushing thru. Their insurance is giving me fits so I went with mine and now just letting them go after the other one. Found that to be much easier and less hassle to contend with. It won't go against me. I didn't realize that going in to this, since I had no clue. I thank you and the rest of everyone here. I do see where everyone here are friends and really help each other out in stressful times. I swore I felt I was going to melt there for a moment or two maybe ten times. I started chain vaping and the craving for nicotine was real. I felt it more so than ever. I was scared for a moment of my old habit and took to my little pod unit that I had just picked up, that thing helped. (Joyetech Atopack Magic)

Again, THANK YOU!! :)
