Aromamizer plus deck assembly

Anyone know what holds the negative side of the deck in place?

Sold one to my cousin, who now i know, isnt smart enough for any rebuildable and it just falls apart. I havent actually seen it for myself to try and diagnose it.

I assumed the 510 pin held it in or maybe it was press fit but my cousin doesnt seem to think so.

Oh and he's trying to blame me for his deck being messed up. I sold the rta to him about 3 months ago and re-coiled it for him many times. He always left my house with a working tank. Now its broken and its my fault? Fuck that. Makes me think twice about selling anything to anyone anymore.

Sorry, that turned into a rant. I've dealt with too many stupid people already and its only 8:30am.

I have a coil in mine but it looks like it’s press fit. Don’t know how they broke it.
He over-tightens everything! I'm sure that's why. I make juice for him and he breaks the caps on the bottles because he screws them on so hard.

He sent me the picture in post #2 and i made the green circles. The walls are bent out. I'm wondering if you can over-tighten the post screws and somehow shift the deck over or something.

Sorry brother, I know exactly how you feel when it comes to stupid people. Just remember, ignorance you can fix, but you can't fix stupid.

I'm not familiar with theworkings of the Aromamizer. I'll do some research though and see if I can turn anything up for you.

Hmm, I'm not sure how the negative post could have fallen off. From what zi can tell it is milled into the deck. It looks like the positive is the one that you could take off. I could be wrong though. That is quite the conundrum. Sorry that zi couldn't be more help, but hopefully someone will pop in that may know more than I about this tank.

I'm sure you're right about it being the positive post.

Mike,
I just completely disassembled mine, took out the 510 pin and all four of the grub screws that holds the coils.
It has to be press fit, there's nothing left to take off.
Both the positive and the negative side are solid. I thought maybe if the positive side were removed there may be a hidden screw for the negative side.

Good grief you've had a rough day already Mykreign! Nobody should have to deal with that kind of stupidity, especially on a Friday. I hope you told him he can buy and build his own attys from now on.

On a happy note. I popped my cherry today and ordered my first ever a steam crave product, the aromamizer plus. Can't wait to build it!

It really is a great tank. Been my favorite for a year or so. If I had to say something bad about it, it would be lots of condensation ends up on your mod but at high Watts, it's hard to avoid that.

Yeah today was a rough one for sure. So glad to be home now.

at least you're home safe and away from the idiots.

thanks for the heads up on the condensation. I get the same thing with my Blitzen rta which is pretty much GeekVape's scaled down version of the aromamizer plus.

Actually, DON'T order from Steam Crave they are a rip off! Friday night I made the mistake of ordering a Black V2 kit for $46 and then Saturday night found the same kit, minus the 10ml glass that I don't want anyway, for $23 at Efun. Since the order has yet to ship I sent steam crave an email to cancel the order and attached a screen cap of the kit I found at Efun. Both kits come with the plus style dual coil postless deck which I very much like.

But that is my mistake for not shopping around first. Ha ha won't happen again.

I agree for the most part. I have a dozen SteamCrave tanks and I never bought any directly from them. Too many other places to get them far cheaper. But I do buy parts from them because they are available and they get them to me quickly and reliably. Most recently I bought a couple of the single coil decks for the Supreme V2's. I haven't looked around to see if I could get them cheaper, but for $11 and $4 shipping, it's not really worth fucking around. At least for me.

Yeah, I apologize. I was just venting my angst with steam crave and myself for not shopping around. It had other to do with you. :)

I have looked around and you are correct, steam crave is probably the easiest place to find the deck. Getting them to return an email is another story. :teehee:

No problem. Like I said, I don't buy complete tanks from them because they are cheaper other places if you shop around. Parts are another story. In fact, I think they are way better than most as far as parts availability is concerned. They have glass, upgrade kits, o-rings for everything they sell. Some of these companies out there you are SOL if something breaks and you need a part. If you can even find them. Seems like I hear a lot about poor service for vape products.

Hope you find what you are looking for at a price that you like. I'm really fond of my Steam Crave stuff. It just works good for me.

Great points, they do carry everything one would need.

I won't let my angst deter me though because they really are great tanks. This time last week had no steam crave products and now have the copper supreme v1, a SS supreme v2, their rda in black and a blue 30mm plus rdta. And eventually another supreme v2 in black, if they ever ship it or refund me so I can purchase the one in my cart at Efun. :giggle:

You guys do know that you could paint them yourselves - I did that on one of my Ammits, a black one that needed a little touch up for paint. Get a rattle can of your favorite color and have at it. Just don't try to overdo it and maybe do a couple light coats at a time. I haven't had any trouble on that Ammit with the juice affecting the paint job.

oh. just me perhaps. but I would never paint anything inside a tank = paint leaching chemicals into the juice.
probably a non issue, but not for me.
