Added some Morita chipotle powder, Tamazula hot sauce, extra cheese, and Mexican oregano.
Can't complain. :)

True dude. Close to 20% of the population or something like that. Houston is a very diverse city, of 6 million and for that high a percent. Huge.

OK I'm gonna do you a favor..... go out to your car point it West and cross the border into New Mexico..they have real Chile there....

because that is the only thing that grows there beside cacti. I did have the best green chili sophapilia in a town near Albuquerque.

We do have Chinese and Soul Food. Fried rice and Fried Chicken is also a pretty popular thing. Its a weird combo in my opinion and heartburn for sure.

Last night was seared pork loin, steamed broccoli/cauliflower and sautéed potato.
Used the pork drippings to make a white wine reduction sauce.

Lmao, tomorrow should be easy:
Andouille or buffalo chicken sausage, topped with onion, peppers, and provolone
Side should be either baked potato wedges

Dinner served at 6 if you’re stopping by

I don't get home from work til 2:30 - 3:00 am, so dinners don't usually consist of much, till the weekend. My work schedule wreaks havoc on a normal-ish diet.

Mine too. I have no set schedule and it will change on a day to day basis.

That just simple isnt true good sir. There is a ton of good Tex-Mex. Especially down here where I am.
I have to agree with jwill here. You can't throw a rock without hitting a Tex Mex joint. Some are good some you want to avoid.

Chicken noodle soup and corn muffins.
All credit to the wife on the homemade noodles, all from scratch.
After dinner
Cornbread Puddin and a Coke.

That sounds pretty damn good.

Had some amazing smoked turkey and pulled pork with mushrooms and green beans. The meal was amazing and the I was served some weird pudding with crushed oreos, it was not my favorite desert.

Went to a grocery store and got a pineapple, havent got into it yet.

Never had these before, but a lot of folks I know from back east swear on 'em. We don't have the restaurants here.

Figure they can't be THAT bad, eh? :D
Worst case, I'll add my own fixin's to 'em.

I’ve heard of those, but could never justify buying a mini burger in a box.
