Kilo Eliquids is harsh?

Ive seen Kilo Eliquids around a lot and I’ve always heard good things. So I was a bit surprised when I bought a bottle of their White Series “White Chocolate Strawberries” and it was harsh. It literally irritates my throat and I can hardly taste anything enjoyable about it. Now that isn’t to say that they make bad juice but I’m curious if anyone else has experienced this and if so any idea why? I’m reluctant to try any other flavors because I feel like it’s something that might be in all their juices.

Have you had it long? I've not had their juice, but sometimes juice just needs a little time to calm down after it's made. Without knowing what brands they use, I've used a White Chocolate in DIY juice and it did need a bit of time to settle.

Thank you for this feedback! Should I do anything specific with it like take the cap off or anything like that?

I personally don't, you could leave it capped for a week, or so, then try it again. I know some do leave the caps off to let them breathe, but air can oxidize nicotine. I can't say how badly, but oxidized nic can be harsh, too. Shake it up, from time to time.

Hope it works out for you!

I've had some Kilo juices in the past.
When I first got them they were great but about 2 months later, some started to go bad as you describe.
Problem is when purchasing, you don't know how long they've been sitting in the vendors warehouse.

Agreed with Pastorfuzz, whose avatar is scrumptious.
There have been juices over the years which I found irritating and harsh, regardless of age. Yet others from the same company were fine. Was it the flavors, or the age, or? I honestly haven't figured it out, and don't know how to. I think age has something to do with it. Several liquids I enjoyed newly purchased, were not the same a few months later. Others, thinking some naturally extracted tobaccos, just got better.

Sorry to hear your experience. I'm new enough at this that I have no advice or wisdom. My only experience with Kilo is two flavors from their Black series (Birthday Cake and Honey Creme) and they're very smooth and flavorful. I like them and would try them again.

One of the things I have found with many Strawberry flavored e-Liquids is Alcohol content making them harsh. Shaking and letting them Air Out or Breathe has worked for me. Also firing at too HIGH power can cause undesirable vapes. The equipment you are using and how it is being used is another important factor along with condition of the coils. Good Luck

A bit late to the discussion but I recently purchased a bundle of Kilo Original Series and they all were extremely harsh and tasted like I was getting nothing but dry hits. I went through 3 coils before figuring out it was the juices. I checked the bottles for a born date, nothing but a batch number that does not correspond to a date. I did notice that the PG/VG ratio was different then the older bottles I had. It was <20% PG - ^70%VG and now < 30% PG - ^70%VG. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Where did you buy them? I’m curious if you got them at the same place i got mine and if they sell out of date juices. I haven’t ran into much issue with them but I’ve definitely had issues where some juices although substantially cheaper don’t taste nearly as good as they do when bought from my local shop or the ejuice makes themselves

I got mine at ejuice deals. Which I will admit, the price was $36.00 for a total of 300 mill. Might be shady.... not sure.

I got mine at elementvape.com, they run theirs around that I believe. I need to message Kilo back with the code on that to see if they were able to age it for me and let me know how old it was. I sent them the batch code and they were looking it up.

Here's a site I use often. It's always fresh, consistent tasting, and never an issue. I don't let it breath (remove cap overnight), and just vape it as it comes. I particularly like Open Road, Caramel Waffle Cappuccino, and Vanilla Bean Cream. They have many flavor profiles so perhaps something you would like.
I'm signed up for their emails and only get one when they send a promo code every once in a while, so,, they don't send a bunch of marketing.
If you decide to try it, there's 80% off right now code MEGASALE.
There's a couple things it won't work on. The 3x30ml sampler for $3, And the 5x30ml for $10 deal. These are good for trying a few flavors.
If ordering single bottles with the code, don't add any bottles using the drop down menu, as this makes the price higher. Just enter "no thanks".

Thank you for this I’ll give it a look tonight! I’ve been using HUMBLE recently as their BOGO is great but I love trying new sites!
