I'm kind of leaning toward the Segelei when it comes to purchasing my first box mod. I've seen reviews about the 100 watt but haven't seen much for the 150 watt. But I want to here from all you fellow vapers out there, whether it be for the 100 or 150. Just specify if your post pertains to the 100 or 150 watt.

I had the original 100w. Aside from not firing below .2ohms...I thought it was solid kit! Consistent readings....fired accurately....strong magnets in the door...and fired every atty I put on it.

That's good to know. I haven't really heard anything bad about Segelei. iPV's are overpriced if you ask me. Yeah they might have more bells and whistles but it sounds like Segelei gets the job done, and gets it done consistently well. That's what I've gathered anyways...

And mine was an original...I hear they have just gotten better.

I have an very early model of the Sig 100w box and love it! The ONLY thing I don't like is the 510 connector, there are rare times it will read my RDA resistance as being much higher than it really is, and will adjust my voltage accordingly! Seems to happen only when I try to get the RDA to sit flush, so now I just leave a small gap underneath.

For this reason I would suggest spending the extra $10 or so and get the "Plus" version instead, as it has a spring loaded 510 pin.

And another thing that could be a con, no USB charging port. That never bothered me since I would rather use my LUC charger for batteries anyway.

Do you know anything about the 150 watt box?

Ok, so I did some research and found a couple reviews on YouTube. The 150 watt has a spring loaded 510 connection on it.

I was skeptical about Sigelei after owning their Zmax which was pure rubbish....and the sheer YAWN of the 50w box. But they really rose to the occasion with the 100w.

Yes, if you get either the Sig 100 or 150 watt boxes, make sure it has that nicer 510!

I'm not sure if the 100's that are out now have them. I know that the 100 plus do but I might as well go with the 150 at this point. I don't care for the look of the 100 plus.

Yeah, not a fan of those silly curly lines on the 100W Plus at all, lol. Somebody must have been drinking on the job in the design department.

I bought the Plus a week or so back and mine still shares a similar problem. Seems to consistently be .3ohm off what i show on my meter.

Other then that (and the battery display in a constant state of switching between a few %) it's worked flawlessly though.

If you use the silicone sleeve, the curvy lines get covered and the box gets some protection from abuse.
Yes, forgot to mention those...have two of them and they work great!

I have a regular 100 watt and it is great.
Read a lot of reviews, talked to vape buddies at work, didn't hear anything bad about it. Got it when I got my Atlantis.

Getting into RDAs now and currently using a 0.14ohm coil on it.
Don't know what the exact bottom limit for it is, but it refused to accept a 0.1ohm coil so somewhere in those 4 hundredths of an ohm.

I effing well dropped mine today at work. Scratched up a corner and now the screen doesn't light up. It does still fire. But I don't know if I am using 10 watts or 100.

I have taken it apart now. I will probably have to just get another one. It would probably cost more to repair it than just start again.

Looking for a good deal for a gold one. The one I have was $89.00 free shipping.

I've had the 100, 100+ and 150. The 100 came in 2 versions, the "demo" and the production models. I don't know why so many had a "demo" version but it had a bad 510 when it was screwed out. The 100W you get if you buy it now does not have any 510 issues. It does have a loose button but that is not an issue of function. The 100+ and 150 have a spring loaded 510 and screwless battery plate and function well. The 150 has the same loose button issue as the original 100 but I think looks a little sleeker than the 100+.

Imo, if you need the extra wattage or lower resistance then I like the 150. If you don't, then I like the 100+.

I've had my 100 plus for about a week now and so far I'm loving it. Spring loaded firing pin, magnets on the battery cover, dual batteries for extended vape time, that's what sold me on it. Like the firing button on it better than the one on the IPV3.

How good is the battery life? I have two, relatively new VTC3s. Will that last me all day? It's already ordered but I'm just curious.

I have been using the Sigelei 150w for two days now and it's a fantastic mod! That said, the Sigelei 100 is IMO the best regulated box mod of 2014 and the only real difference between the Sigelei 100w and the Sig 100 PLUS and Sig 150 is that the latter do not have an adjustable 510 connector (via screw) and instead have a spring contact allowing for flush connections and the 150 features a different style of buttons. I plan to upload my review in the next few days of the 150 but I did put one up regarding the 100 a while back:

I will say that the new buttons on the 150w work just as well as the originals and the fire button has a reverted dome as opposed to the outward dome on the other models. The internals look nearly identical.
