Just remember they can't imprison your mind. Just your physical person. Keep focused on getting home to your wife and you'll do fine. Seperation from family and the food is the worst part. And get some earplugs from canteen. You'll love those. Good luck man

He'd mentioned previous shit that got him into more time, around here a bounced check is a O.R. and plea deal. Jail is full, guys with multiple felonies are walking free. Unless ya poor, FTA'd or had warrants..hmm.
If he's affiliated, has the wrong tats or stuff, that could be a problem.
Hell, 90 days is just County Jail territory ain't it? Still got my damn white plastic cup...it has beer in it now for irony.
Laws are laws, but 90 days for bouncing a check as a non-violent crime is kinda bunk...depending on the amount of the check. He musta had a Public Pretender, a warrant for FTA, some priors, or other mitigating shit going on..

Fuck a public pretender, all you have to do is roll up in there and tell the prosecutor these words:
I want either a STET with community service or a jury trial.
Trials cost them a FORTUNE and you are offering to work for them for free.
What do you have to lose?
You can always take an offer later if they say no.
They want to avoid that jury trial at all costs.
Since he will not have Internet Access for a couple of months he won't see your comment.

Family experience tells me there are a LOT of guys in jail who would rather be in prison.
Staff at some of the jails are all about some humiliation and constant punishment. They humiliate and punish you, your friends, your family, your kids, bunch of asshole fuckers. People just utterly miserable in their jobs and lives, and want to make everybody else miserable too.
Best thing BigRick can do is spend a couple of months reading everything he can get his hands on. Just be quiet, stay out of arguments, and wait for the day to go home.
