Moli's are on sale.
https://liionwholesale.com/collections/batteries/molicel-npe
Think Mooch rated that 21700 pretty high.

I had 2 sets come in today and even at half capacity it made it through the day with no issues or sagging or anything.
My only issue now is why the hell they take so long to recharge? I set two Moli’s when I got home from work 3 and a half hours ago in my nitecore i4 (which says ut handles 21700’s
db3e95650668522d5efcc0f84d6f14e5.jpg
but in the last 3.5 hours I’m still only getting one solid light and one blinking.

This is my first go around with 21700’s...is it a typical thing for it to charge for a lot longer period of time even compared to 20700’s?

You’re not drinking water are you? You realize that’s an ingredient in antifreeze!

Yep, completely normal. Bigger battery, longer charge. I charge my 21700's at 2A to speed it up, I don't think your charger charges at that rate though.

Agree with Theboss. Looks like the I4 is at .75A using 2 bay and those cells are 4200 mah, gonna take a while. Might consider a 2 bay 2Amp just for your 21700, mo money.....
I think most 20700 don't have much more capacity than some 18650 but don't have any charts in front of me at the moment

Suggestion, at least try this once and see what YOUR mileage is: Charge your big batteries one at a time. I have not timed it, but it sure seems to me that I can charge two individual 21700s, one at a time, in less time than it takes to charge two 21700s at the same time. My charger is a Nitecore i2, I think, so same platform as yours, just two-bay instead of four.

They take considerably longer than 18650s, and longer than 20700s, to the point that it's frustrating for me. I think they may even take longer than 26650s.

.75a is a slow charge rate for any battery really...if you got your batteries just in and they were at 3.5-3.7v expect them to take at least 4hrs to fully charge probably even longer.... I would of done the single slot at 1.5a and it should be done fairly fast.

I charge my P26's at 2a from 3v and they are done when I go refill my atty.

EDIT: also not sure which two slots are for .75a (2) and which are .5a (2) but if its like my Opus, your inner 2 are .5a and outer are your .75a(2) and lets say those inner two are the .5a... my goodness, yeah that would take half a day to charge 4200mAh 21700s ;)

I'm a day late as I received my latest vape mail yesterday, but I had some pairs of Shredtravolta's fraliens waiting in the mailbox when I arrived home after work. Damn this guy's good! Hit him up if you don't build (or do) you will be very pleased seriously. If you check out the accessories thread you can find out how to grab some. I would never recommend something unless it exceeds my expectations and his coils always do (repeat customer)

And he donated $500 to VU about a month ago. That's pretty solid in my book. Makes me feel like a real slacker not having donated myself. I need to correct that.

What!?!? Damn, that shows a lot about Shred. You know right away how great of of a person he is just PMing him with questions about his badass coils. I seriously wish I could buy him a couple beers at the pub, he's just been so gracious with me from the get go. AWESOME DUDE

Oh and Shredtravolta only asks for postage/donation to send a pair of coils to someone interested! LMAO, check out the coil building section to see his work. Pretty good deal huh?

(Just temporary atties on there for the pic and testing. I'll be putting a black Goon v1 RDA on the Wye once I build it and a SS Blitz Ghoul RDA on the CV squonker when it arrives)
