My busted Basium, was thinking about getting it fixed and Giving it away.

I've built 3 squonk mods from scratch. I just looked at the bosium and the 510 is proprietary. Itd be a real bitch to install a mod maker or mad Dog 510

I tasted some new flavors and set up my Dot Single. As mike vapes would put it, it's a single-coil-flavor-banger. I used one of the coils that came with it. It's probably the shortest RDA I have. The drip tip is just tiny. I got a baby beast drip tip in it now. It looks stupid as hell but hey, it's comfy.

Can you get some from the inside too? Sorry about the hassle.

What is it doing or not doing?

Like the wiring and terminals? It’ll read the atty fine then jump to something like 7ohms and then it won’t read it at all.

Of course @Mykreign or anybody else should feel free to jump in on this as well. Give me a day or so to see if I can think of a way to have you troubleshoot this remotely LOL! I don't get the sense that it's unfixable and it may not even be the 510 as such.

Is there way to have the 510 intact and still have the top off.?

What I'm getting at is if there's a way to put an atty in the 510 that you know worked before, while the top is off and see if wiggling it around makes the resistance change.

Dropped by a B&M and picked up some Cotton Bacon Prime and a couple VTC5a’s, mixed up 60ml’s of my Time Bomb juice Clone, cleaned up my Armageddon Mod and hit the contacts with a little contact spray, popped in some new coils and wicking in it, popped in a new VTC5a, filled the bottle with the juice I made, took pics and made memes throughout the process to make explaining squonking to someone easier on me, and now happily vaping along with catching up on some “Ghost Adventures” I’ve got recorded.

You’re not drinking water are you? You realize that’s an ingredient in antifreeze!

That was what wound up ultimately being the issue with that Mag, which also had resistance jumping all over the place by whole ohms. Only with the Mag, it was in the contact rings in the base of the 510 assembly as well.

I hung the whole top of the mod by the wires in a bowl of rubbing alcohol and sloshed it around. I then pushed in the positive pin several times and worked the rings around in the base, repeating this several times until I was reasonably sure nothing was left in between the parts. The mag also had a loose negative ring which is a different story because just snugging that up didn't fix it.

I rigged the mod back together enough to where I could get it to start and it read the resistance spot on the first time and has ever since. Now it's all the way back together and my friend has been using it trouble free since then.

Isopropyl alcohol evaporates very quickly, but I still gave it like an hour to be sure.

This may not be the exact same thing, but it sounds like it could be similar.

I’ll give that a try and see how it works!

Sampled the Country Clouds clone, still maple heavy but that CC flavor is there. Wicked up a Dead Rabbit sq. Bounced around Trinity Glass’s website, really want to place an order but the signature confirmation is just a pain.

Cleaned and rewicked 4 tanks, cleaned and rewicked the vapeshell in the BB, everything is fresh and tastes great again.

Did my 1st diy mixing with my new LB-501 scales, mixed up over 750 mils of juice in less than 30 minutes and hardly any clean up, normally don't like mixing, as so much time and clean up, but using the scales was a breeze, should of got scales a long time ago, see a lot more mixing in the future now, as so easy.

Got the mod back together so it could be turned on, it read every rda I tried but they were all off. .17 read as .23, .83 read as 1.03

Assuming you're sure of their real resistances, that's closer, but it's still picking up some extra from somewhere.

I used two different mods to test them prior and the Yihi is supposed to be really accurate...that’s what I’ve been told lol. I’m going to try wiping everything down with alcohol and then reassemble it and see how it does.

Wherever it is, you probably can't get to it by just wiping. When you examine the solder joints for the wires, nothing looks loose right?

Ejuice is a horrible conductor. It actually creates resistance, which is why I think you're seeing higher ones. It seems to be hidden in there somewhere.

I think you're on the right track though, because it IS getting closer.

Also, the spring loaded 510 does move in a spring loaded fashion right?

Solder joints are tight and look pretty darn good. The 510 is springy for sure...ask how many times I said GD lol. It definitely got some juice around the contacts on the 510.

Next time I'm cutting the maple down. It seems plenty sweet at .25% Super Sweet too. I might just omit that. 1% is just way too much IMO. That's murderous on coils.
A couple people said it's a spot on clone and another said it needs a minimum 10 day steep. As a S&V it's definitely not there.

Made 750ml of my Uber ADV. This is the only juice I'll vape in my car. The Uber customers like the scent, saying it smells like a combination of fresh baked cookies and brown sugar

Got a Kennedy Vindicator clone setup from MrMeowgi. Mixed another 60ml of the CC clone so I can tuck it away for the 10 day steep. Cleaned and the wicked the Vindicator rda, then used the Vindicator tube on a DR rta.
