Pardon my ignorance, but what exactly is squonking? How does it compare to normal vaping? I assume it's a better experience as many of you veterans seem to like it, but why is it preferred? Thanks for your patience with this greenhorn.

It's like dripping but from under the coil.
Squonking gives you the benefit of a dripper without having to drip.

Dripping or squonking up from the bottom to put the juice in contact with the coil produces a flavor boost.
Bottle holds more than most tanks.
Less leaking if any.

Not really "better" -- what it allows is the ability to use an RDA without needing to constantly drip, like with every puff, or every other, since you squeeze the bottle to push juice up into the atty. If you're not too picky about what RDA you use, it's a really neat idea. I've never taken to it, because I AM very picky, only an Achilles RDA suits me (because of its extremely tight draw and super-saturated flavor), and since it holds 2.5ml, that's fine -- that's nearly half a day's vaping for me, because that super-tight draw means I have to keep the wattage very low -- 10w -- so I don't go thru oceans of ejuice the way that higher-wattage vapers do, and my batteries also last a very long time -- a 30Q lasts me nearly 3 full days. But it requires a super-tight draw for all that, and the only one I've ever found that provides really superb flavor is the Achilles.

Cleaned and re-wicked my Ohmega Alpha One tank with the twisted 28awg Kanthal build and took a pic with a kitteh. 
I still got the Smok TF-RTA-G2 to rebuild today, it's been over a year and it's high-time for a new build in there. I'm thinking of going Ni200 this time instead of SS, just for the lolz. It's the only type of wire I haven't had in that thing.

Ok y'all I just made me a cheater juggernaut coil. At first I thought it was going to be awful, it was hot as hell and spitting at me, but after a minute or two it has settled down and is pretty nice.
It's two strands of Lightning Vapes SS 26/36 Clapton wire, wrapped with N80 ribbon. Looks like seven wraps of 3.5mm, ohms at 0.41 in this Asmodus C4. I'm vaping it at 35W right now.
Wraps aren't very even, although I could tell by the end of it that I can probably do a lot better next time. It was awkward just getting the wires comfy in my hand at first.
Takes a little longer to get hot than my limited patience would prefer, but once it is hot, it's a very good vape with great flavor.

I gave the Tauren Solo another shot today. I watched a video prior by Daniel DJSBL Vapes and followed his method (legs cut at 4.5mm, spaced coil). He used a different coil and was blasting it with 100W. I had some coils from Breazy and put one in there. It's a N80 (3x26ga) alien jboi. I'm getting really good flavor now around 60W, airflow about half closed. The draw is similar to my C4 but less impeded.
The way it squonks takes a bit getting used to. There's a little channel under the bridged airflow. It's in the center and the wick slots are deep. He said scoot it all to one side or split the wick so the center is open. I split the tails and it's been squonking pretty good. I probably went a little overboard splitting them but whatever.. it works.
So that concludes my presentation of the Tauren Solo. I got it from Fasttech for like $16 with the MAP code.

Vaping all day on a delish Caramel Drizzled Banana Pudding I made last night to see how it evolves. And my husband is now assembling my 2nd nail polish rack for my ever growing flavor stash.
