Hey guys, Ive been trying to set up my Steam Crave Areomizer Plus for months and no matter what I do I just cant get the wick right. Even if I jam 4.0mm coils onto the deck and stick massive, thick cotton through the juice flow holes, it still leaks the entire tank out in less than 5 minutes. Its just not working out. Now Im trying to get ahold of an Iron Maiden by Hellvape but cant find anywhere to buy it except sketchy chinese websites like GearBest. Any ideas?
Yeah man getting an Iron Maiden is hard.... They are nowhere to be found.... I think they sold like 500 before Iron Maiden filed a lawsuit and they were removed from the market.

So if you can get one, or find one buy it immediately.....

The Steamcrave aromamizer supreme plus doesn't handle coils good above 3.0mm..... I had great success with that size..... Check all your seals maybe one is missing somewhere....

The only way to loose a full tank is seal failure (loss of vacuum)....

Its definately not seals, I just rebuilt the entire tank and cleaned it out and all the seals are present. It always seems to leak through the wick and then out the airflow. It leaks a bit less when I stuff the 4.0mm coils and cotton in as it seems to jam up the juice flow channel and helps to stop it from leaking but then the juice wicks so poorly.

I also have major issues with the Areomizer spitting hot juice on my mouth. I might just pick up an OBS Engine II. Its a bit smaller but is still a decent 26mm RTA with 5ml capacity which also seems okay. All reviews on the Engine II seem to be stellar too.

This is my build and my tank has never leaked.... I mean never ever....

Check that O-ring on the picture is the last one on the bottom plate that goes around the 510....

So yea Ive got the 510 seal and its basically brand new, very fresh and thick. The juice never comes out of the bottom anyways, its ALWAYS the airflow holes.

I flip mine upside down and wait until all the juice has flowed into the tank.... Then close the juice control......

Flip and fill it..... Now take 5 or 6 Vapes..... Then open the juice flow....

That should be enough to equalize the pressure.......

I am gonna have to try this, had no idea you had to equalize the pressure

But now remember, now that you figured to fill it.... You might have to reduce the cotton......

Maybe you stuck too much cotton to properly wick .......

You definitely have to burp these or they will do exactly what you describe. Manny has you covered. Once you learn the trick of burping them out, its laughable how easy they are.

Its been doing okay on this latest 4.0mm coil and wick setup as long as I dont fill the 10ml glass more than halfway. It hasnt been leaking, but it does sometimes give my dry hits as there is just too much cotton for it to properly wick. I have to stop and shake the tank around for a good 10 minutes to get it to properly wick, but at least its not leaking at this point.

I really like how this tank looks and its amazing size but its just too unreliable and with the vibrations on my Semi-Truck as Im driving I just cant cant it. I might just turn it into a shelf queen, it does look incredibly badass on my LostVape Triade DNA250C so I might just disassemble the tank, soak it in hot and soapy water, rince it, and just store it away nice and clean and new for another time when I can give it another shot.

For now, I have ordered a couple OBS Engine IIs for me and my girlfriend. She really like the idea of her first rebuildable being leak proof and a little different than a standard build deck. The upside-down coil building process is slightly strange, but it seems to be an overall near-perfect RTA with nothing but good reviews from everyone. The dual coils should get me down to around the 0.20-0.10 Ohm ultra-low risistance cloud chucking that I prefer. Good thing Im running these extremely powerful 25 Amp Sony VTC5A batteries!

The Aromamizer Supreme Plus is amazing but finicky...... Even Subohm tanks leak too according to the age and quality of the coil.......

I have been using non leakers like The Dead Rabbit and the QP Juggernaut... And just bought an Intake RTA......

The problem is filling up often..... But the little guys work good.....

It's unlikely you will find an authentic Iron Maiden these days. Those that love them are scrambling to find old ones for parts. The E2 is a great atty and the side fill port is easy to use on the fly.

Yeah I have tried to scavenge a Stainless Steel.....

And every person I ask, will not let it go......For nothing.....

I know Anthony Vapes has one and I offered him $100 bucks and he said... I'm keeping it.....

So have to step up and try $150

Know of a couple people who are looking for parts and have been for awhile. One guy had better luck searching UK forums and fb groups.

I'm sure gaskets I can find.....

And the tank will work without the anti spit and the ceramic deck cooling plate.......

So gaskets is the only thing that would need replacement and they are easy to find .....

Ive never heard of the E2. Who makes it? Google searches are failing as its not enough info.

I just like the big ones are good to be on the road and driving.... With a 2ml refilling all day long.....

I want triple coils, large capacity and a sweet looking tank......

So two for the road is The Triple (sexy) and for an entire day to Subohm your Dickoff..... The Titan (Tough looking)...

Well that Triple looks pretty sick, I might have to look into picking up one of those, you said its a triple coil rebuildable? Is it possible to get one today or have they become scarce like the Iron Maiden?

I know its another standard bottom-airflow tank and its probably prone to leaks here and there but it does seem pretty nice and you do seem to have yours under control.

The Titan looks sick especially at that insane 40mm size but again, I simply cant trust the Areomizer line to hold up anymore, especially on my truck. I cant even get the thing to stop leaking here in a controlled environment at home let alone on a bouncing and vibrating truck.

I did try the trick to equalize the pressure as well. Perhaps I am still too noob with this tank and need more practice with building on it, but for now its going away, back in its box. I just can seem to build on it effectively.

Well the Triple is a coil makers dream..... Double or Triple coil set up......

Clouds for days and requires power...... 80 watts plus with a triple set up...... Easier to fill up..... Push fill push....

Im gonna have to look into one of those. To be honest, 80 watts really isnt even that much lol. Ive got a V12 Cloud Beast King that wont even give you any flavor on 80 watts using the T12 coil. I usually vape that thing anywhere from 125 to 175 watts.

EDIT: By the way Im super glad that Im running these 25A Sony VTC5A batts. This ThinkVape Finder DNA250 mod is pulling about 34-35 amps at 150 watts on the T12 coil lol.

get the recurve squonk
I can't like that enough. The Recurve Squonk Mod along with the Profile RDA is like a match made in heaven. You can hold 8ML of juice in the squonk bottle and the 20700 battery lasts a good while under heavy vaping. There is no power drop off as the battery drains. The backlight behind the juice bottle to show you how much juice you have left in your squonk bottle is genius. If you are looking for something with plenty of power, hook this bad boy up with the profile and you will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

Well Im not the biggest fan on Sqonking but if I look into it sometime in the future I will have to take a look at the Recurve.

I know it's been 4 1/2 months since your last post, but I'll put in my 2 cents in case you're still monitoring this site. I recommend you give the IJOY RDTA box triple a try. I really liked the original, two 18650 batteries, unit, but I suggest you pass on that one. I had one that lasted 2 months, and its replacement lasted only 2 weeks. In both cases, the display went blank. They would still fire, but no display. Common sense would have kept me from ordering anything IJOY, but since the RDTA box triple was a newer unit I took my chances and bought the triple. It has been working fine for over a year. It doesn't leak, thank God, as it holds 12.8 ml of juice. It is a fistful, but I used to carry it around at work. I use 316L Stainless Steel Notch Coil Wire for RBA Atomizers (10-Pack)
316L SS, 0.2ohm, 10-Pack / SKU: 4795200 or Authentic MKWS 316L Stainless Steel Notch Coil Wire for RBA Atomizers (10-pack)
316L SS, 0.2ohm, 10-Pack / SKU: 4795100 and Authentic ST Salvia Pure Cotton Wick for E-Cigarettes
Cotton Wick, 18 pcs/pack / SKU: 9488700 from FastTech. For my daily back and forth to work vaping I went with Geek Vape's Aegis Legend with a Hellvape Iron Maiden tank, but I continue to use the IJOY at home. I prefer the IJOY's flavor. The Iron Maiden's ceramic anti spit back thing is necessary to close off the fill ports, otherwise it would leak big time, but I think it adversely affects the flavor.
