I think if you can crop them down or something. I know you can use another site like imgur the link it here. I actually use Tapatalk when I want to post pics here. Just sign into Vu on there and post whenever. No sizing required. But I do everything from my phone so that may be why it's easier than on web version
The easiest way is to take a screenshot of the picture. Then upload the screenshot. They're usually small enough to load.
Edit: I've only done this on the phone. I'm not sure if it works the same on a computer.

Really? That's good to know actually. You'd be suprised at how many new members have issues uploading pictures. I never tried because I didn't want to have to find a file url on my phone. When I saw the Tapatalk banner at the top of the web version it made things so much easier for me in general on here.

I open the pic with my image viewing software, crop it using a use my crop/paste program, then copy/paste the cropped image to the forum
I hear image hosting sites like imgur work as well.
On my old phone I just set the photo size to the lowest possible setting before taking the pics.
Another way to upload a picture is to send your picture to yourself in a text message then save that picture directly from your text to your gallery. Your phone automatically crops the pic to send it in a text so the new saved pic "from message" will upload flawlessly.
