Opinions vaping Underground people. I got myself into some trouble and I have to self surrender myself to jail on the 28th a March. I weigh 250 lb I am 5 foot nothing and because of my previous history they're going to put me in what they called the dungeon. Violent felons. So I've been growing my beard for 3 weeks now and I'm going to shave my head before I go in. I don't want to be messed with is almost inevitable. Do I try to look like a badass and hold my own. Where do I shut my mouth and roll with it. I'm not a bad guy people just like to mess with me I usually get the worst end of it. So I'm trying to work up this persona before I get there in a week. What do you think I should do. Comments questions all welcome sorry to brother my vape family but I'm scared. And I could use some advice

Yes I did. They give 10 days a month for good-gain time. So I did 61 days on 90, a pleasant surprise. I just kept my head down and made it a point not to make friends. I read a lot and did some soul searching. I am a better man for it. Thank you for caring you are one of the good ones.

Based on your original post, I was going to wager you got sold for candy bar and a pack of smokes. Your second post showed some sense of maturity. You gotta be young and stupid before you can be old and wise. Congratulations, now learn from it and don't go back.

Mildy offended but I accept it. Not young but old yet unwise in some ways. Slightly immature as well. Yes I have learned from this experience. Not to make excuses. My activities were illegal, not immoral. Some times you have to make that choice and live with the consequences. Thank you for your comment.

In your position I'd have done the same thing. Sometimes illegal isn't wrong. I know that sounds weird but you you were looking out for your family and I commend that.

You shouldn't be, wasn't meant that way. I'm a straight shooter, one always knows where I stand. When I was growing up my pop always told me "boy, you better be tough if you're gonna be stupid". He was and is still right to this very day.

Of course I have priors. I was a rowdy young man. It was county not prison.

Hell man Noone is or was perfect. The ones who were aren't here vaping. Illegal yes. Immoral no. So you can just sit back and know the perfect ones haven't been in a position to have to survive. And that you were raised in a different light of compassion and compromise. Held true to that and did what was right.

Thank you for that. I feel a a lot of guilt over leaving my wife out here alone, fending for herself while I was in. I shall do my best to be the man she deserves. Thanks for caring.

Best advice I ever got:

Always be the dumbest person in the group of people you are surrounded with.... Therefore you are always surrounded with knowledge or smarts by people who value the best outcome. (In most cases hopefully)

It is over now so it is a non issue. My main concern at the time was that in my area has a high gang presence with a lot of prejudice. As I have no afiliation I would be considered an easy target. As a sentanced inmate a confrontation would lead to aditional jail time. I had much to loose. Many did not. Hence my concerns.
