Question about high wattage8

Hi, this is my first post so sorry if I say something ignorant. :|

I've been into vaping on a mod for just under a year now, with my first and only device being a Smok T-Priv. I want to buy a bigger, beefier atomizer like the Smok TFV12 Cloud Beast King so I can chuck huge, dense clouds at super high wattages when I feel like it. I tried my friend's device, which had the same atomizer, at about 190 watts and it was insane.

As you probably know, the T-priv is a dual 18650 regulated mod. I have two hohm life 20.7A batteries in mine. My question is whether it is safe to fire at high wattages (200W) with my batteries.

My thought is that a fully charged 18650 outputs roughly 4.2v and the current is rated for 20.7A, so wouldn't the max wattage output be 173.88W? (because 4.2 x 20.7 x 2)

Is it safe/possible to run anywhere close to 190w with my batteries or am I faced with the decision of staying at 160-ish watts or getting a triple 18650 mod?

Thanks

Unless you already have, look up Battery Mooch for his testing and rating for your batteries. Once you're sure you have the correct safe voltage:
Max Amps Per Battery = (W / mods votlage cutoff [or 3.2] ) / 0.95 (mod resistance) = A
60W / 3.2 / .95 = 20A
x2 = 120W

Don't need super high wattage to chuck huge, dense clouds. Try an RDA.

Very few regulated mods will put out the power they promise and then only for one hit. Look into something like a Titan quad and a series deck rda.

If you decide to go with a series mech then please please please do allot of research. It is such an amazing and oh so cloudy vape, but need to make sure to build safe. If you decide to go that route then maybe look into a Wismec Luxotic Noisy Cricket. It's semi mechanical so it acts like a mech but has safety features.

Love seeing the people who want to vape at 200 watts. Lmao. No need to vape that high but to each their own. For your batteries I would get the best of the best. Follow mooch. If you have a battery question Google the battery type then type mooch after it. It will pull up his ratings on that said battery. Just know that there are only a couple companies that put the true rating on the batteries. Companies like hohm life are not the best. Especially for vaping in the range of 100+.

Another thing to keep in mind is when you vape at those high wattages you will be constantly changing out and recharging your batteries. But in keeping with your desire of high wattage the best battery would be the Samsung 20S. It is a 30 amp cell with 2000 mAh as rated by Mooch. Make sure you have at least two married sets as you will be constantly changing and charging them.

Welcome to VU!

One reason I'm happy to stay where I am. :) 200 to 30,000 Watts? Nah, don't need it.

Revision Note: My apologies. I write and think so quickly at times, miss inserting words that may have bearing on communication. Yes, sometimes I miss speaking words too. I flabbergast my wife a lot. By now though she has developed a code book for me. She also knows I'll start a thought, talk about, ...
So, she waits until I finish the ellipsoid thought. At times I need that as well. I often break thought up over various times. Sometimes I will admit, I might even forget. :) Usually, it's nothing of dire importance. Please overlook me.

I used to vape the exotic coils at like 0.13 ohms and 120 watts.

I now vape round 316l Stainless Steel wire at 0.3ohms and 60 watts

At high wattage I had half as much flavor, the batteries died twice as fast, but there was HUGE clouds!

I found out that i like flavor, long lasting batteries, and regular clouds better.

I like vaping around .30 to .50 on a single cell 18650 mech mod. I like having batteries last around two days between charging. So, usually I run a single coil.

Today though, I felt a bit contrary. I built a dual coil twisted NiChrome A that reads out around .40. Not sure I'll get my desired battery use length. Then, I'm contrary today so that's kind of given that well, I don't care.:giggle:;):)

The build seems to do well in the U.S. 1/Trinity v2 RDA. So there's that for it. :)
