Title says it all. We all know with f&f sales here there's no help from PayPal or anything. How long should you wait to call someone out for not sending an item you paid for? I say a week. But I'm getting close to saying fuckit. Especially when the person signs in multiple times a day here. Have done business with this person before as so have a lot of us. Work scheduling is one thing but in a week's time I'm sure you've pass a post office or goin postal store. Or some way to ship. I would expect no less if I didn't ship in a decent amount of time. Weekends are forgivable. But at the end of today will be the fourth business day. Thoughts everyone? No names have been dropped as to keep this out of the mud pit for now.

You can call PayPal and explain the situation, typically they’ll help but you’ll get an earful...personal experience.

I always preffer paying the additional $2.00 to $8.00 PayPal fees added to the selling price and never use family and Friends to make a payment.....

Inclusive I add on the notes: This is payment for the purchase of item so and so....... That way it's protected by the PayPal and Master Card agreement.....

Usually a good time to wait before shipping is (7) days also part of the eBay and PayPal agreement.

The main point is communication, if the shipping is delayed because of a catastrophic event (floods, hurricane) the seller should stay in touch.

It's like buying something from China and expect tracking until it gets delivered. It ain't happening.....

There are steps that are followed before any action is taken by PayPal, Master card, and eBay....... And one step is the buyer has (7) days to pay and the seller has (7) days to ship.....

The buyer gets a reminder after (2) days....... That payment is due and have (5) more days to complete the transaction....

I agree with the above responses, you've paid for the item, surely there's time in 4 days to drop by a post office.

Integrity goes a long way and if you feel that's lacking here you should call it out and possibly save some others a hassle. Just my 2 cents

Received track this morning but I'll leave this thread up as it was brought to my attention just a bit ago this happened with a couple other members here sometime back. Communication is key to keep our hardware thread thriving and so people don't have to worry or be scared to purchase or trade

My fav is still FT and having to contact them to ship, and getting notice of tracking, which is just PRINTING a label - and then shit still doesn't move for a goddamned week anyway. Infuriating.

Tell us how you really feel, I'm not sure you were clear :giggle:

Seriously, you're bang on though, very inconsistent. Although I've only placed a few orders with them for accessories, bottles and an rta, I've yet to have a painless experience.

Sounds like my homey Meowgi got himself a bit of anticipation fever exacerbated by a bit of shinyitis.

But I can relate to the "blast/no blast" consternation.
I purchased something that arrived .........well, I'll just say, not clean.

They have a "presence" here and 100% rating. I reckon I could have dropped the proverbial stink bomb, but I chose PM over blast. They acknowledged their mistake and apologized emphatically and I guess, in the end, I got my point across.

I usually use a "risk/benefit" thought process regarding issues. In my case, the "risk" of creating a shitstorm in the forum over a piece of dirty hardware wasn't worth any schadenfreude-like "benefit" I would feel from putting them on blast. I enjoy the overall "help everybody" zen attitude here at the VU too much.

Of course, the difference here is that I had the item in hand and Meowgi has got bupkis.
I mean, money is money, right?

Hang in there cousin

Same happened to me. I've never gotten a defective product or anything like that but i got a couple things that were disgusting! Like the inside of the 2 rda's had wet hair and tobacco in it. I just threw them away.

Eww that's gross. I always try to clean whatever I'm selling so it's in new con3when it arrives. Noone wants to clean a mod or anything when they get it.

I shipped 2 RTA'S this morning, the one the person paid for was washed throughly, the bonus one was never used so anything found in there is from China :giggle:
Just always remember when you sell a squonk to blow out the 510 pin. I think that's overlooked some times with no rda attached the juice leaks back out when in a box.

Generally, you can't go far wrong with hot water, (maybe a touch of dawn). - a rinse, a quick isopropyl bath, another rinse; airdry.

And, (when I shipped home to family) I would wick up the clean deck and coil so lil' brother had a damned clue wtf ;-)
..He & his wife'd never vaped before, but I figured a PIF was better than the alternatives.

Apologies as well for the delay. I'm giving benefit of the doubt. I know things happen. He's got a good record here and I don't want to touch his name and make trouble. Just wanted others opinions.

This thread allowed you to achieve the desired result without calling anyone out.

That was pretty smooth;)

I have to say I have amazingly good luck and found good friends from buying from other vapors, from all over the world....I have never been burned...but vendors..those bastards have given me plenty of headaches, and bullshit stories.

if it's juice they may be waiting on an order of flavor, if it's hardware they may be waiting for a restock, me I'll maybe 3-4 days toss an email, then after 3 weeks I'll get in a fuss although at this point I don't actually need any juice or hardware so I have time to wait.

well the only reason i could see why there was a delay was they ran out of pocket cash to pay for the shipping and had to wait for the transfer to there bank... but all thing concerned that should have been said during the negotiations aka it will be shipped on Friday even if paid on Monday type of thing. its all a part of informed purchase and consent which goes along with communication and in some states also goes along with an Escort for the night :wink

Glad it worked out for you thou
