I’m looking for a new squonker and was wondering if some of you folks have some experienced with them and can share your thoughts. I was holding out for the Topside Carbon but the more I look around I’m having questions about two other mods. So for you folks that have a ton of mods or have used a ton what are your thoughts on,
1: Revenant Delta squonker
2: Smoant Battlestar squonker
And the third is the topside carbon which I doubt anyone has used one enough to have a decent idea.
I love the way the Delta and Smoant pump juice rather than squeeze a bottle. So if you’ve used one or both can you let me know how it’s holding up and how you like the juicing mechanism.

I'd stick with silicone bottles, but I am cheap, old, and irritable.

In my experience with silicone bottles, found them a little irritating. Did not care for how I needed to keep hold of the bottle to let it draw juice back out. Silicones to me seemed require squonking being a process requiring too much attention. They didn't offer me a consistent "feel", one time light squeeze would flood an atty the next I had to nearly take the bottle out and dump it to get anything.

This is all only my experience and humble opinion though. Lots of folks seem to be keen for silicone bottles. If you like 'em then more power to you, happy you found what you like. They don't suit for me. Will stick to using PET bottles.

while i have to experience yet with a decent modern sqounk
(back in the day i used a carlos juice box)

i think the topside (dual,carbon,single)
Take your pick maybe one of the go to mods untill a better one comes out that is.

1. can be refilled from the top... hence topside
2. bottle is separate from the battery tray... in the event of leaks... safer
2a. Bottle can not be directly shifted due to how it is inserted on the tracks.
3. from what i can tell has a very modest squonk port when compared to others with a smaller diameter
4. bottle seems easier to clean and access overall.
5. mod is modestly priced

I'm not familiar personally with regulated squonkers, just mechs. I've been very happy with theHugo Vapor Squeezer. Has a 10ml bottle like the Topside, but no boards to worry about. It is a single 18650 or 20700 and oh so easy to maintain.

For regulated squonkers I personally would say that any of the Topsides would be great. The Delta is good and Also convenient for refilling the bottle, but only a 6ml capacity and might be tougher to clean the bottle. Still not a bad mood though. Also the Pulse 80w (or 90w) is a good choice for single battery.

I'm not too up on modern squonkers, so many coming out these days.

But, if top fill is your main reason to consider topside, consider one of these refill bottles with 510 connection instead https://www.fasttech.com/product/8829301

Just my 2c
I've the Vandyvape variant, but same idea - they work great. Generally, only time I mess with the bottle is swap out the stupid BLACK variants invariably packed with the mod.

The biggest issue I seen with pump style squonks is that the excess juice does not get sucked back into the bottle. If you over squonk, you have to deal with a flooded atty. This is where traditional bottle squonks have an advantage. But after mastering the learning curve of the pump system, it shouldn't be too much of an issue.

I've never experienced inconsistent squonking with silicone bottles. As long as the tube in the bottle is set properly, it always works fine. I don't know what @MyMagicMist means about having to hold the bottle to have it suck back the excess juice (its likely I just misunderstood what was meant), but I just press the bottle to get juice in the atty and let go and the bottle does the rest of the work very reliably.

I don't use regulated squonk mods so I can't say which would be best under that category.

I'm happy you're fortunate in that. For me it just seems I have to hold, pull the bottle back open after I squash it. I just didn't care for the overall feel of that and silicone bottles kind of treating me unfortunately. Not sure why but my experience with them just left me desiring the PET bottles. If you like silicone bottles and they do well for you, great, happy you two get on. :) They don't get on with me, so I use what does.

I'm an odd duck. :)

I see what you mean. I have seen that with really thin super soft silicone bottles. I use thicker silicone bottles and they rebound pretty quick.

You are not odd for liking certain bottles, plenty of people like them. This is why there are different materials and thicknesses of these bottles out there. Everyone has their own preferences.

Well there's other stuff beyond the vaping. I'm different from a lot of people. Forty seven and not ever had a driving license for regular automobiles. I cannot drive them due to locking up terrified. I can run bulldozers, bobcats, tanks, small boats and possibly some smaller class air craft. Regular automobiles though, nope, I freeze. Not sure why either, too many differing things at play for me regarding driving regular automobiles to deduce why.

Millions of people can effectively use Google. I cannot. I apparently search too specifically, or computationally. Google bungles up results for me to be as useless as a box filled with dirt. Although I could probably find a use for that sooner than my Google results. :)

Not really a pro sports fan. I like watching some MMA, Combat type of fighting and of course WWE. I like each of these for different reasons too. Don't like footie, American football, rugby, basketball, tennis, golf, baseball, cricket, bowling. On rare occasion I might watch a NASCAR race, but don't really like those either.

Not one for playing video games. I like to read but did so much of when younger I've spoiled myself to reading. Also as I've gotten older quicker napping comes when I read. Not too keen on much as far as television or movies either.

Sometimes I get lost sitting in my apartment. That doesn't mean I normally have trouble knowing surroundings, ways around. So, all in yeah I'm odd. :) it's alright though, grown used to it.
