So are you just putting the powder in your mouth and washing it down with something as opposed to stuffing it in capsules (I use vegetable caps, not gelatin because they digest better).?
I started out just dumping some in my mouth and washing it down with MT Dew.
Tastes VERY green but not bitter or such.
But use caps now.
Not sure what the caps are made of? PVC?

Snicker... I guess there are some things I instinctively know I don't want to put in my mouth, like asparagus, cauliflower, lawn clippings... :) but all of them likely are tolerable if inside a tasteless capsule...

The two most common are gelatin and vegetable caps. The veggies dissolve in your stomach and dissolve completely before they reach the other end of the digestive tract. :) The gelatin start to dissolve in the stomach, but for most people, do not dissolve entirely until about halfway through the small intestine. For some people, there might still be pieces of that capsule coming out the other end. Then there is the one called enteric gelatin caps, which is a coating to pretty much guarantee it does not dissolve in the stomach. These are used by people with some stomach sensitivities or if you are taking something that would greatly upset the stomach of any normal person. I use them to put liquid peppermint oil in (an attempt to dissolve my gallstones without surgical removal as most stupid doctors want to do) because (trust me on this one) you do not want peppermint oil in your stomach.

I do not want peppermint anywhere near me.
Horrible stuff.
I wouldn't put that crap in me either except that the doctors want to remove my gall bladder. Why is it that they never suggest just removing the gall stones? If you have kidney stones, they remove those (by laser or sonic disrupter), so why do they think they can just cut out your gall bladder and throw the whole thing away? Your body needs this as it dumps the toxins from your liver back into the digestive tract, which aids in the digestion of fats. So, supposedly, a combination of dandelion root powder, milk thistle seed powder, and peppermint oil dissolve gall stones. So far, the indicators show that this is working for me. In an enteric capsule, I cannot taste that peppermint oil and I'd really like to defy the medical vampires and keep my gall bladder.

Keep all the parts you can....wish I had my gallbladder, but it was removed when a portion of my pancreas was removed, according to the doctor at the Mayo the gallbladder was not salvageable.

So what's happening today, Rich?

You and Lannie take it easy today?

I didn't do jack-shit, planned on cleaning the house, but I said fuck that too.

Nope. I did some mech work on the weed whacker, then spent a couple hours whacking lots of stuff. Forecast said it would be clear all day, but the sky was covered in a zillion puff balls (cumulus), but no rain, so I did what I could outside. Lannie worked in the house and spent lots of time walking dogs who insisted they needed to go out but did not potty when she took them. I think they were just jerking HER chain. ;)

You ever get a price on an engine for the Bobcat?
Guesstimates anywhere from $1000 to $3000 to buy the engine, plus about $1000 for installation. I can't get firm quotes yet because I don't have the money to go ahead with the work. I am still pondering a few different loan possibilities, none of which I particularly like.
Just glanced at the guessers forecast, if they're correct it should be a really nice week ahead for you.
Gee, the last I looked, there are thunderstorms in the forecast nearly every day.

Been a long HOT day, and supposed to be warmer Tuesday and Wednesday.....today took a LOT out of me. Can't take it like I used to, this I know. Not sure what the temp was, but my garage door opener (button) says it's 105 in the garage at this moment..... ....which tells me it was hotter than that today.....

We were doing so GOOD too....first week of June and not a single temp over 100.....

Well, let's see... it was clear as a bell while sucking my morning coffee, then clouded up around noonish, reached about 72... don't recall doing anything overly important... have nothing to bitch about... (or is it that there are no bitches here about?) ... in any case, a reasonably boring day, so I am a boring person tonight... Space Balls is on the boob tube (balls? boobs? tubes? still nothing?)... Maybe I should just go to bed. Sigh...

That's what I'm about to do, hit the hay....overslept this morning, my internal alarm didn't go off as it usually does, must be a sign I'm overdoing it................

It really wasn't bad at all... the dark clouds looked like it was gonna rain like hell, but it didn't... got a light sprinkle while I was out in the cow pen stealing some Guinea eggs to stuff under a broody chicken (the six I put under her have a higher likelihood of survival than the 35 I left in the Guinea nest), but that only lasted a few minutes. Wind got rather nasty, but not for too long, so again, nothing to bitch about, and I really do prefer 72 to 102 so everything was hunky dory...

Some of us have high blood pressure that is not related to eating the wrong foods or smoking or stress... adrenal gland on the left kidney is malfunctioning, over-producing aldosterone, which regulates the body's sodium levels. Too much sodium (which is NOT directly related to eating salty foods) raises your BP.

Beautiful fall day here today.
Breezy, dry air and did not make it to 70 here today.

Bush hogged a path down to my garden zone today with my Troy built rider. Had not been mowed in over a year.

running down thistles over 6 ft high.

Used the power washer with liquid Sevin insecticide to spray the pecan trees for beetles and caterpillars. The other option is to just cut down the trees. Then did laundry and cooked dinner.

Slow day.
