GOLD DRAG VOOPOO TIMEOUT ERROR HELP!!!!!!!!!!

I was using my Drag just fine and never hit even kind of close to 10 seconds, nor have I ever heard it autofire, nor is the firing button stuck. Practically Pristine Condition and when I switched my batteries (yes I put my batteries in right) it turned on but when I try to hit it, it keeps popping up "Timeout" everything ive seen online basically says im screwed and it broke. but I dont get it theres no juice leakage or anything its just stuck on timeout

That's usually a motherboard short and it's not down to user error so get in contact with your vendor an ask for a replacement. This cannot be fixed. I had the same issue and it's something to do with the internals an chips frying. They will replace it for you.
Another issue I had with the drag was the button sticking but my second drag had been going strong for a year. Hope they send you a new one! I dint find the customer service bad compared to others such as eleaf an fucking smok

Try removing the batteries and holding the firing button for a few seconds. Also look up how to restore it to factory settings. Good Luck

RE: Timeout error / VOOPOO DRAG 2 TIMEOUT ERROR - Hi folks, I had the same problem with a VooPoo Drag 2. When changing batteries I was randomly faced with a random timeout error. I tried changing batteries and coil to no avail. I tried taking the batteries out and holding the power button down for a while - still didn't work. Then I read the above: firmware update. So I go to the Voopoo Website, and find my model and service / support. You download the updater and the firmware file separately. Run the updater and connect your device to your computer and it will be detected. Then select the firmware file and "Download" which means write / flash. After a few seconds it will be done. Disconnect your device and try it. This process fixed my timeout error straight away. All in all the whole process took me 10 minutes from panic to fix. Stress gone! Hope this helps someone - somewhere. From the U.K.

1- Download Firmware and update file https://www.voopoo.com/service
2- Install firmware and open it
3- Disconnect batteries from vape THEN connect it to your computer
4- open downloaded update file on firmware and download it to your vape
5- if that doesn't work contact customer support as you have a defective motherboard
