Hi All, Anthony Vapes back here with my review of the Vaporeso Luxe Nano Mod. Please see bottom for disclaimers and links. Note: This is not marked as a sample.
Introduction:
The Vaporesso Luxe Nano mod is the latest mods from Vaporesso. Vaporesso is a company that doesn't need much of an introduction these days. They have been making some of the best affordable mods on the market for years now and their luxe is still easily a top 5 mod to date. This mod comes in a kit with the skrr-s tank which i won’t go over really much as it uses the same GT cores and QF coils of most of their past tanks. The luxe nano is the smaller version of that one and is an internal battery mod rated at 80 watts with a nice color screen and touch buttons. It’s available in 6 colors. Black, Red, Bronze, Silver, Rainbow and Blue. Looking around online i see it priced from 40-50 USD for the mod. Elementvape has them in stock for 39.95 in the USA all colors.

Initial Impressions
When I first got this mod I really liked the simple and sleek design of it. I always liked the look of the full size version and this one is pretty much the same as that but much smaller. it’s barely larger than some pods, it’s a really tiny device. Plus it’s very light, has a centered 510, and a nice large 1.3” color screen. I think the design team really nailed this mod.
Watt Mode Performance (chart and spreadsheet in picture album)
Now let’s get into some data. I ran my normal testing. I used the internal battery for the testing. Testing resistances were done at .13, .15, .2, and .61 ohms. wattage points were max (80), 60, 40 and 20. At .13 ohms it maxed out at 62 watts and 22 amps. For the rest of the testing it struggled quite a bit 11 watts low at 60 and 3-6 watts low under that. At .15 it maxed out at 71 watts. The rest of the testing a little on the low side 1-6 watts. For the .2 test it maxed out at 76 watts. The rest of the testing really good being on point or 3 watts low. For the .61 testing it maxed out at 81 watts and 7.048 volts. For the rest of the testing it was great being on point to 1 watt high.
Overall I felt the performance of this mod was really good. It struggles a little at .13 but at .15 or higher is pretty solid. Even though it hits low it does have that built in hard preheat while on normal like their past mods so it doesn't feel that way. I do wish they would get rid of that, if i want a hard pre-heat i can set it myself. Why have a normal preheat if it’s not normal? I was able to get 81 watts max, so I consider it to be accurately rated at 80 watts. The 7.048 volt limit was maxed out by the watts and the volt limit shouldn’t be any issue. I could not find any volt or amp limit though but the volts show a boost circuit which is good but I do wish they would list all 3 personally. On this mod and the most amps i got was 22 with a .13 and .15 ohm coil which is below average for an internal battery mod (average is 25-30 these days).
Simplified TLDR Power Performance summary
Mod performance is solid. Accurately rated for watts (81), Volt limit is no issue (over 7v with a .59 but capped off by the watts) 22 amp limit which low. Has built in hard preheat on normal.
Temperature Control Performance
Ok TC time! So this one is a bit of an oddball and i’ll explain that first before going over the performance. So i’m pretty familiar with the menu of this mod as it is the same as the final version of the full size luxe mod. However this mod seems to lack the TCR adjustment in any mode including TCR mode, i also couldn’t find the power adjustment either and it stays locked at 70w. I thought maybe it’s hidden or maybe even though they said this is the final version i noticed some other odd things that make me think it was sent early. Either way couldn’t adjust any of that. It didn’t come with a manual either (one of the odd things) but i found the manual online and doesn't show it at all. I watched some reviews which weren’t many and not a single one showed the TCR adjustment i could find. I’m stumped. I thought maybe firmware update as mine is V1 from 11-26-18 but nope, no FW updates out for it. Really odd. If im missing it hopefully someone can chime in but it isn’t in the same spot as the full size luxe and i can't find it personally. Now with all that said i did test 3 builds using SS316 wire and in SS mode only. I did 2 fancy single coil builds and 1 round single coil build. The mod performed great in TC mode but hits slightly high. I found around 400-430F to be a good temp for a warm vape so roughly about 20-30F high. Nothing wrong with that. It’s smooth and consistent and the throttle is nice as is the dry hit protection. So overall it works but i can’t make any adjustments on it so not sure what to think
Charge Rate and Battery
Quick rundown on the specs for the charging and battery. Vaporesso lists everything out pretty good here. They claim 2A charging 2500mah and 1.5 hour charge time. It also has a cool feature when you charge it that shows you how many minutes left until full as well. I tested this 4 times with an inline USB meter. The max charge rate i got is 1.86A so the 2A rating is good an accurate. The charge time was 1 hour 10 mins to 1 hour and 22 mins so good job with that as well. Here is my one big gripe with this the mah i got was between 1578 and 1605 on the 4 tests so no way it’s a 2500mah battery and way overstated. So i’ll ding them there for sure. I would have felt much better with a 1600mah rating. So good charge rate, charges super fast time wise, but way overstated battery life.
