I’m a dna fanboy so it would be the paranormal. I have a couple and use one as a daily driver. That and I love the replay feature; which, isn’t offered on yihi.

However; if I wanted to use an atty wider than 25mm; I would have to choose something else. Perhaps even the gclass.

I get the same effect and vape experience with a HCigar Wildwolf as with a g-class......

But use the Wildwolf more because it weighs nothing.......I would try a Wildwolf first and if you fall in love then move to a g-class ......

That would be great.I'm a poor man though And will have to save the pennies for awhile.so one is all I will be able to afford...

You would be surprised what kind of deals you can find. Last time I needed some coils a member here pointed me to a place to get them half price~! Good Luck

The bigger questions, really is what do you want to spend?
How do you vape now?
What do you want the mod to do?

Another option to test drive something close to the g class would be the vsticking.
Similar board, similar controls, same body; but cost about 40-50$.
https://www.vaporl.com/vsticking-vk530-200w-tc-box-mod.html

I would suggest looking at the feature list and abilities of both the paranormal and gclass and decide which of the two fit YOUR needs better

Unpopular opinion but I would call them high price, not high end. I mean, if for some reason you need one of those boards in your mod, then sure. Thing is, they're still Chinese mods. They're not usually built any better in my experience.
I recently sold a $150 mod and picked up a $60 one that works better, is designed better to perform the same function, and is much better built. Just sayin'.

Now, if you were talking about a custom hunk of pretty wood, I'd have a different opinion entirely.

That finish is a wrap from Zwraps in England.....called the honey comb Carbon Fiber.......

She's normally black, but the wrap sticks really awesome to that soft rubber finish....

If you're looking for good TC, it can be had these days for ALOT less money than either a DNA or YIHI driven device.

If however you want top shelf TC (accuracy and consistency), a DNA or YIHI device is what you'll need.

You can get TC performance that is better than good mainstream, but not as good as a DNA or top end YIHI driven device in something like the Vsticking VK530 as has been said. It has a lower end YIHI chip that still performs well and with a bit of tweaking does VERY good TC.

If geekery is your thing and you love to play around with... EVERYthing... then hands down, a DNA 250C and Escribe has no competition.

Actually the Wildwolf is very accurate in TC mode compared to the G-CLASS..... Can't go wrong with a $45.00 mod that functions very well.....

I sent one to a good friend in Metarie Louisiana who works on a tugboat...... The mod still works and he loves it .....

The mod is great I have two !

TC (accuracy and consistency)

I have been using a Smok Alien 220W for the last few months in TC and have no issues and works consistently flawlessly for me. While I have a few DNA Boxes this is just easy.

I thought that same thing when I first got my first Paranormal 250C several weeks ago ,but since then I got my hands on one that needed work and took it all apart. I have to say that at least in the case of the Paranormal 250C I'm not going to be able to go along with you here.

The construction is quite sturdy with heavy frame pieces that fit precisely and metal in metal screw joints using high quality hardened screws. The 510 is meatier than usual and is also screwed in place securely enough to survive even fairly rough action. Good solder joints, solid aluminum buttons and silicone grommet cover things to protect the buttons and board. There are quite a number of other little details that changed my mind as well.

In my opinion, at least that mod is constructed to justify the price beyond simply the board.

If it has one shortcoming, the TFT screen, while not terrible, could be better. By far it is what's given owners the most trouble.

Yeah, the Wildwolf would be in the same class as the VK530 in that regard. The last thing I need is more mods, but that one is still on my short list of potential future acquisitions. In fact when I got my Morph, it was between that and the Wildwolf at the time. I wanted to try out that new chip though.

I also have gotten perfectly usable tc outta my Smok mods. I boost the tcr some, but I do that on my VK530 too. in fact I have a friend with that white Mag I keep having to fix (that model did have some issues) who I setup for SS tc with a Prince tank and the rba and she's been happily puffing away on it for months now. That same family of Nuvoton processors that Smok has in about 20 of it's mods.

I was thinking about you the other day Steve. You really oughta try the Morph. First all new chipset for Smok in a LONG time.

I have owned (14) DNA's only (3) still function and the ones working are DNA 200, and (16) YIHI which all still work all sixteen of them since 2015 .......
Well, you are no doubt in a better position than myself to speak to longevity. :) I had money squirreled away for an SX Mini G Class, but was was offered another Paranormal 250C practically brand new in the box, 590 puffs, mfg date of Dec 18 2018 from a guy who bought it along with a Therion 75c and found out he probably wouldn't use the bigger mod. 100 bucks. So I used the Mini G Class budget for that. The one I took apart mentioned above, is a third one and a longer story than I'm going to tell here. :)

No doubt about this either. I have mods I spent less than 10 dollars on new that are great devices.

The MoonBox comes immediately to mind. There's an absolute cheapo that doesn't pretend to be anything other than an absolute cheapo, but it is an eyebrow raising performer. Everybody should have a MoonBox LOL!

Love my sx mini yihi. Dont use it often, decided to roll with it for the day.

Rocking a real titanium 24mm goon (costs as much as the box mod lol)

I WANT both of those, but there's no possible way I can spend that on an RDA.

Meh, I have owned Yihi mods from the SX to the G.
I bailed on them after the G just because all the firmware had various bugs and was always 'fixed soon'.
I've owned DNAs from the 167 to the current C models.
While I've had a couple go wonky, a ticket with Evolv, postage to them, and in less than 2 weeks mod is back in my hands working fine.

I'd really like to find one of these mods NEW MINUTA21 (21700) by Strangers Mods. I'm a big fan of the 75C and with a 21700, it'd would be sweet.

To your question, Paranormal. I like mine anyway. Replay mode is the all time winner.

That's the one that Showerhead says he wants. Found it on their Facebook group page. I have a feeling it costs quite a bit, yes.
Yeah man it was expensive, for me anyway. The kid in me had to have it for the reload rta so I went ahead and paid retail for it...like a fool! :teehee:

Oh yeah, I owe ya a bit of gratitude. You mentioned the vsticking mod so I looked further into it and liked it. So I bought one of those for my Blitzen rta.

Gimme a few and I will post a pic for the shits and giggles of it. :D

Yep. Can't go wrong for the money. I've had mine since like November I think. Make sure you have the latest firmware. HERE is a file I put together, hosted on my own server, with all the stuff and full instructions. You may not need that, but there it is :)

Whoa dude! Thank you! I just downloaded the file to my phone so hopefully tomorrow after work I can sit down and get the firmware upgraded.

Oh yes... beautiful mod dude!

I have put blinders on my wallet, so once I decide on the style (likely the exact one you posted) I shall have one.
I haven't touched the 'Buy' button on any mods or tanks in over a year!

Go with the paranormal .keep in mind customer service is really none existent with SX MINI the G class is heavy as hell yes SX makes a good product but when it brakes or more likely it gets dropped your basically screwed. Lost vapes are warranted and if your in the US evolv the dna chip manufacturer which is based out of Ohio handles their warrenty not just the chip but replament battery doors ect and their service is excellent.
