New Shop In Concord NC Needs Help

Good afternoon all. My partner and I are opening a new Vape Shop in Concord NC and we are needing a couple of experienced employees. This may be a long shot, but I figure what better place to find knowledgeable employees than a community who loves to voluntarily do research.

Good luck with your business. I would think that you just may fine someone here that needs a job.

But don't rely on your employee to know it all , you and your partner will need to keep up to date on the vaping industry. I hope that you and your partner have either worked in other vape shops or visited a dozen or so to watch what they did that worked and what did not worked.

Your advice is definitely spot-on...We have visited dozens in our area along with continually doing research online (forums, YouTube reviews, etc.). I have been vaping (not modding) for a little over a year and he has been researching the industry for that long if not longer. We have seen the difference knowledgeable employees make.

Do you guys have Twitter? If not, you can probably widen your search a great deal.

I'm located in concord and am definitely what you would call a experienced vaper- but I highly doubt you could afford me to be honest. There's others though- your best bet is to open up shop and you'll attract the people your looking for. If you'd like to talk feel free to send me a message and we'll go from there.

you should also find your local vape groups..
I know the Charlotte and surrounding areas are picking up, and some pretty cool peepz :)

Just to clarify so you don't take that statement the wrong way - I'm a 32yr old man and I do ok in my job but I spend $2-300 a month vaping. It takes that and endless hours of social media lurking to stay up to speed on the industry. There is a lot to learn and it we'll definitely payoff to have the right people in place- but being able to take those people away from the job that supports a $2-300/mo hobby is most likely going to be a challenge. That's all! Good luck and again, feel free to shoot me a message if you like any input... I've helped a shop to do pretty well for themselves in concord and would be glad to do the same for others- of course for a little compensation of some sort.

I completely understand. We are working on creating a pay-scale that rewards our employees for sales and positive customer experiences. Although this will be a business, I still plan to maintain my career. As a result, we are willing to sacrifice a higher profit-margin for valuable employees who will reward our shop with loyal, informed customers.

Ok cool, I just didn't want you to think I was an egotistical jackass. I'd honestly love to see another shop in town... better yet I would honestly love to run a vape shop or be a partner in one- but finances are limited so I've yet to go at it myself. Your approach is commendable as well but there's a hard line to walk when selling in that structure. A line that defines the customers best interest on one side and $ on the other- it takes a lot of integrity and that may also add to the challenge of staffing your shop. Either way, if you haven't already- you'll find a lot of interesting things when you get started- exclusivity issues, area distributors, limited suppliers, and so on. I look forward to seeing your shop open and ask that you keep me in mind if you're ever looking for and box mods- I build them. Get yourself an Instagram, follow me: @getclouds and check out the folks I follow, you'll learn a lot from just that. Hope to maybe talk soon!

Hey I've got a buddy who is pretty knowledgeable and recently found himself without a job. I saw your location and used to live down the street- small world. Send me a message and I'll get you his info or get yours for him.

PLEASE dont sell efest 3100mah 35amp batteries to mech mod owners or even low ohm box users...They arent 35amp...they are 6 amps...Yes, i said 6 amps...Avoid carrying those batteries please.

Stock only batteries that are a true 20 amps and up and learn what the ohm limit is for each batteries capabilities.
1.)Sony VTC3's ..A true 30 amps
2.)Sony VTC4's....A true 30 amp
3.)Sony VTC5's...ITS A FAKE AND NOT 30 AMPS.
4.)Samsung 25R's...Wonderful 20 amp batteries...sell those.
5.)LG HE2...Decent batteries.
6.)Efest Purple 2500 35amp...These are LG HE2 batteries re wrapped but they arent 35 amps...they are 20 amps...Ok to sell with giving the buyer the true amps rating of 20 amps.

Biggest thing ive seen are shop owners doing builds of .2 and then selling someone a cheap battery to go with it for sake of profit...Please dont be that type of shop....No trustfire , sure fire, ass on fire, super fire batteries please.

If i had a shop i would only sell 3 batteries really..Sony VTC4's...Samsung 25R's and a budget conscious LG HE2 option.
