Let's see... 113 °F @ 15% RH = heat index of 112 °F. That is, your low humidity makes it feel cooler than it is. Yeah, only 1 °F isn't much.
We were 83 °F (outside) with 75% RH, so our "feels like" was 90 °F, and with no wind, that stickiness was terrible. It was 89 °F inside the house, so it felt like 106°F. You still win by 6 °F.

Altaire Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Issues Voluntary Recall Of Multiple Ophthalmic Products Sold At CVS

July 10, 2019 -- Altaire Pharmaceuticals, Inc., announces today that it is voluntarily recalling the Over-the-Counter (OTC) drug products and lots, within expiry, sold at CVS Health the during the time period as indicated in the tables. As a precautionary measure, Altaire is voluntarily initiating the recall due to management concerns regarding the sufficiency of Quality Assurance controls over critical systems in the manufacturing facility. The FDA has determined these issues indicate a lack of sterility assurance. Administration of a non-sterile product intended to be sterile may result in serious and potentially life threatening infections or death.

Hi Jimi!

Pardon me for a few minutes. We are having another one of those damn superstorms (lots of lightning and heavy rain). I gotta checks on all the windows and doors (once closed, it will be even hotter in here) and the drip buckets, get in whatever cats I can. Damn, it is coming down like crazy...

Well, the thunder and lightning woke Lannie up and she took care of the windows and drip buckets. I tried to get cats in, but only one came, so I shut the door and came back to the 'puter.

I pulled some weeds in the garden and watered the 'maters around noon. We have a bunch of little green balls on the 'mater plants, but nothing red yet. If I'd known for sure this storm would be happening, I could have save a lot of water. Oh well...

A lot of people go by the thunk sound otr the yellow bottoms on watermelons but best way, IMO is to check the closest tendral to the melon, when it turns brown you have a perfectly ripe melon

Massive severe thunderstorms in all directions at this very moment. Heavy rain (lakes in driveway already). Electricity has flashed off and on a few times already, so if I suddenly become non-responsive, it's because I am off the air.

Started a couple hours ago. Sunny earlier in the day. Thunderstorms usually move through here quickly (wham, bam, thank you ma'am), but this one seems to be just sitting on us. Logically, that isn't right, so more likely there's a whole stack of 'em lined up to pound us for hours and hours.

It was a relatively nice day today. Only 83, but with humidity that made my entire body a ball of sweat, Along about 6 PM. the thunderstorms started again and they are still in the area. The ones late last night kept pounding us for about three hours after we all logged off (probably a total of 2" total rainfall here, while the Faith recorder claims they only got 0.04" - well, 30 miles away, the storm here obviously was not there).

I noticed the forecast here is calling for 20-30% chance of rain next week, hope so...it'll cool the rocks for a few hrs, and finally bring on the dreaded humidity

Yup, no doubt that rain will jack your humidity up, but you'll save having to spray a few gallons of water on all those melons.

Yeah no shit, after looking at the water bill, I could have bought three times as many already and their nowhere near ripe yet.
