I had a sneaking suspicion it was high end, even if it was plastic. You have good taste, bro.

Oh hey all, just a heads up ( not a handcheck ) Reomods is closing up shop :( Things are half off till they are gone. Reo's imo are what started the squonk crave. Been around for I don't even know how many years. Eric and Cindy have been running it the last few years though.

I'm glad I still have one.

From their website:

Closeout sale!!!

Well folks, the time has come.

We have been dealing with a lot of personal health and family issues over the last year and have not had the ability to effectively manage the business at the same time. So, after lots of deliberation, some arguing, tears, and heartache, we have reached the difficult decision to shut down the website and move on.

To that end, everything on the website is marked down as low as we can go and is being sold on a first-come, first served basis. When an item is out of stock, it is gone. We will be selling stuff at about 1/2 off for the next three weeks and then looking to sell the remaining inventory off in bulk to any interested parties.

Because of some limitations at the world HQ, shipping times are going to be a bit longer than normal. We will get your order shipped; just be a bit patient. As always, we will send out a tracking number with every order once it is ready to ship.

As for the website, intellectual property (including patent and trade names), remaining inventories, and vendor lists, anybody interested in acquiring them can reach out to me directly at [email protected] . We will be publishing a list of items to be sold and soliciting bids from all interested parties.

It’s been a fun time and we have really enjoyed all of the great Reonauts we have gotten to meet over the last 2 1/2 years.

Thanks,

Cindy & Eric

It's hard for me to do a hand check post because I almost always have 6 mods going at once, 3 box mods and 3 mechs.

So I thought I'd share a little tip.

There probably isn't many of you that don't have carry over stuff from a previous cell phone.

An old cell phone case makes a great coaster to keep your mods from scratching up your furniture and also will collect any liquid that may leak out.

What did you use to dye it? I know some other have done this but I can't remember where I'd read about it.

I used rit dye, non synthetic liquid. Picked it up on Amazon for $6 shipped. Walmart carries it too but my local didn't have black in stock. It was pretty straight forward, mixed according to the bottles instructions, brought it to a mild boil on the stove and dropped the parts in. Took about an hour for the color to fully take while occasionally stirring.

The first rebuildable atty I ever had. Haven't touched it in about a year. Severe leaking issues if you don't get the wicking just right. Having a lot more experience under my belt now, I got it right on the first try. I forgot how good this thing can be. Good flavor and an absolute fog machine. Put it on the Lyra.

Initial thoughts?
I quite like it. I got all the bells and whistles with it, and haven't had anywhere near enough time to test all the different inserts and air tubes, but right now i have the condenser in, the 3mm air tube, and the narrow bore drip tip, and the flavor is nice. Going to take out the condenser tonight to see how it rolls fully open, then maybe try MTL after a couple days.

Edit: not using the narrow bore drip tip here, just realized

Nice! I like that there are so many options for it. There are still some in stock at my Toronto store, I should hurry up and decide before they're gone. I'm trying to figure out if this one or the Kayfun 5squared will be my next purchase.

Yes. Happy Birthday!

Once I went back to the BB thread, I remembered seeing you talking about that autofire issue. I'm a compulsive fix it guy. I love knowing what was wrong and how stuff got fixed.
Thank you.

So the next time I have an issue and my mod is out of warranty, I know who to send it to :D
