I have to be honest, I never would have bought this mod if I knew it had a non-serviceable switch and a (to me) worthless spring. Instant blistering hot button. It looks super awesome, but I'll never be able to use it. When SOI were having their giveaway sale that's what ultimately dissuaded me. I would never own a tube with a non-serviceable switch. (not on purpose anyway)

I'd have to build way higher than I want to not melt the spring.

There's a youtube vid on how to put it back together, but NOT how to take it apart.

Anyway. Ya live and learn. It was still a great deal, it's just not going to be of any use to me. :(

Of course I'm not blaming you btw.
Ah I'm sorry to hear that. I've only ever had minor button warming on mine

I knew going in that titanium is a terrible metal for a tube mod, which I'm pretty sure is contributing to it too. It's light and strong, but doesn't conduct electricity very well compared to stainless, brass and copper.

I checked it out to make sure it looked safe and clean and got one hit out of it. MASSIVE voltage drop (not much vapor) and very hot button. .1 Kanthal build. Back when this was made that was fearsome low though too. Put it back on my SS Panzer and away she went. The titanium version of this mod is pretty much all show and no go. Would make a cool collectors piece though.

That's a real bummer. Perhaps it could still be used for something like a higher ohm flavor tank or something? My current build is currently around .4. Not sure if I'd really consider .1 safe on a single 18650 mech tbh.

And I don't really know anything about the conductivity of titanium but that could definitely be affecting it.

I gotta say. My Broadside in my opinion right now, hits harder than my tuglyfe v3. Question how does the top cap come apart to clean the contacts? I want to give another opinion on this. I tried searching on the tuglyfe v3. Not too many videos.

I'm not sure specifically if the brand is Gunn or Ultron but its an Ultron Gunn mod with a window maker. Definitely foreign metal but it looks cool and works as advertised. I bought this to finish so I can show off some of the effects in a new finish I am nailing down. Not a bad little mod.

Finally got around to finishing one of my own mods. The Comp Lyfe Pirahna 21700. The brass was hard to polish due to the machining and had to spend a bunch of times scraping it out with a toothpick. Now, not an issue.
