Missed the joke.

So was Pennywise the creepy clown from "It?" If so, right after that shit ended I put it out of my mind as much as I could. Sat through all those nights of that g-d mini-series only to come to an end so damn stupid and nothing to do with anything else that happened in the show, I was just plain pissed!

And Tim Curry in all that getup? Waste of talent. I liked him a lot better in RHPS. :giggle:

(Just happened to think - I'm showing my age. There's a remake, isn't there? Well then, never mind.... o_O )

Yep, that’s the clown! The blood bubble thing from the original IT damaged me lol. I’ve only seen bits and pieces (it’s on the list for this year) of RHPS but Tim Curry definitely rocked it...seeing him now just sucks. I watched Roseanne start to finish and was surprised when he showed up for a couple episodes.

Tell me they’re not going to remake RHPS!! That would be criminally uncool.

My hubs said that was the scariest book he’s ever read. We’ve never watched the movie, I don’t want to!
You should see Rocky Horror at least once. It’s really fun.

I haven’t read IT but going off the other books I’ve read of his I can only imagine! I’ve seen the Glee and remake last year of RHPS but not the original lol

I can’t imagine anyone but Tim Curry as Frankenfurter! The original was so crazy 70’s! And Tim Curry rocked the costumes and platform shoes. And everything else. Lol
I really liked the TV version of The Stand. I’ve never read any SK books! My hubby was traumatized by IT, and he used to read Lovecraft!

"The Stand" made me give up on Stephen King's books. After "Christine" my patience was thin, because that book was just stupid imo, but "The Stand" just totally did me in. It was absolutely the most boring 700-page-long book that I have ever tried to read.

Some of his earlier stuff, "The Shining," especially, was really good and really creepy. I think there for a while he just was struggling for good ideas. And then, there was also a growing major problem with alcohol, from what I've read.

Sour peach gum. I will need this recipe @nadalama. I'll pm you sometime.

Here it is, was already posted in one of the threads around here somewhere.

Sour Peach Gum

Cinnamon red hots (TFA) 1.5%
Ethyl Vanillin 10% (TFA) 4%
Lemonade (Natural) (FW) 1%
Marshmallow (FA) 1.25%
Orange Mandarin (TFA) 2%
Peach (FW) 2.85%
Sweet and Tart (TFA) 0.5%
Two Apples (DIYFS) 0.8% (Cap Double Apple would be an ok sub.)

I never read The Stand, but I liked the mini series a lot. The stuff about a flu-like epidemic is not so far from the truth either. Everything was so good in that—but the Deus ex Machina ending, with literally a giant hand coming down out of the sky was a bit much!!
He got hit by a car walking on the side of the road or something, I think. Definitely seemed like alcohol was involved!

Evo Purple Tundra & Royal Seven Woodsy Blend

Edit: I'm definitely going to let Purple Tundra steep for a week or two. I'm just not digging the flavor on this one. It's a grape/menthol flavor, but the grape is a bit more on the tart side with a bit of a cough syrup flavor to it and almost a slight note of black licorice in there.

Royal Seven on the other hand tastes exactly like Halo Timber (which I hear is just like Prime 15) but at a much cheaper price. Nice nutty tobacco blend, almost a slight chocolate note at the end.

I like Royal Seven, but the high PG is not great for me. It’s the hardest bottle to squeeze, too!

Just got some and this stuff rocks right to the top of my list. Also got a bottle of Dead Man's Hand Whisky Barrel Aged Tobacco and it's very nice as well.

I was looking at it online last night and I hadn’t realized it had maple in it. I’ll get some this weekend with sales going on.

That’s awesome, glad you’re enjoying it! Whiskey barrel tobacco sounds like something I’d put in my pipe, so many memories of LOTR and my Churchwarden lol

I'm catching notes of Granny Smith apples in the Dead Man's Hand with a brand new nord mesh coil in. I'm sure it will evolve, but the tobacco flavor is a touch lighter than I'd like it to be. Still pretty good.

Ah...there comes a bigger hit of the taste of tobacco (after a swig of IPA). The whiskey is shadowy and subtle.

To all those who recommended CBP, thx. It's complex and is so good.

Debinnv’s Marzipan. Yummy.
Space Jam Eclipse in a tank mix with Om Vapors Budapest. Peach menthol with smoky tabac. Pretty good.

Seems like a good brand. Same parent company as Halo/Evo, so I'm assuming they are just "budget" versions of other flavors under a different label.

And yes, the bottles are still incredibly stiff. Every so often I'll actually get one that is noticeably softer to squeeze but for the most part they are always rock hard

But they look really cool on the shelf, I bet! I did used to take a few puffs off them when I was smoking. :giggle:

This is a sweeter tobacco flavor - nothing spicy going on. I don't think it's as precise as anything Black Note does, but it has come up to the fore a little more. But if you were a pipe smoker you might wanna give this a shot.

I read that too about them being Halo/Evo. And they’re PG dominant as well, which is the reason I’ve never tried Tribeca. I love tobacco flavors, though. If you know some other good ones, please tell me!

Maybe they were aiming at childproof bottles or something! Or torturing vapers. :giggle:
I only have the one bottle of it, since when I saw that it said PG eliquid on it, I never bought it again. It’s really smooth and tasty though. Bummer!

Well, every so often I did smoke my hub’s pipes! I haven’t tried Black Note yet. I have some HHV NETs now to polish off.
I’ll give that one a try, though. Thanks.
