My wife and I both have been vaping for 8+ years. I make our juice. I lung inhale and she is mouth to lung.
About 2 weeks ago she started to cough only on exhale. She has all the same equipment and using the same 2 flavors- Kringles Curse and Cinnamon Chill. There has been no changes in formula or equipment.
She uses Nautilus Aspire with their factory 1.8 ohm coils at 15 watts. Also she has a Kanger Tech Top Box Nano. She has been using both of these with the same brand of tank, at 15watts,with factory coils and has 3
of the Nautilus Aspire tanks.
I use the Kringles Curse , but use mine in temperature control and have no trouble.
I hope someone has a reason for the cough on exhale. I have triple checked everything and changed her coil,
made new formula, and checked all settings on both mods.

I don't have an answer for you, but did you happen to open a new bottle of nic or any other ingredients when this first started?

Either way, best of luck in figuring this out.

Welcome! What levels of PG and VG are you using? What brand of nic base are you using? Try changing brands and testing how you feel.
Some sensitivities take a while to come on. It may be the flavors or it may be the nic base (glycol or glycerine.)
Like Lucy said, it may be the cinnamon. Try changing to a different juice flavor to see.
Good luck.

I know some people develop get sensitive to cinnamon after awhile

I know many people develop sensitivity to any vaping juices after so many years not just cinnamon. Your wife should give herself a little break.

Good answer! You should maybe start a thread introducing yourself. Hope you love it here.

Welcome to the forum:wave:

See, That's the problem though.
Most of us are ex smokers and if we could have given smoking a "little break" then we wouldn't even be here vaping to start with.
So I doubt OP who has been vaping for 8 years wants to hear "don't vape" as an option.

Here's a suggestion.
Start with the eliquid
Use an eliquid that IS NOT cinnamon.

Have you got a new batch of PG, VG, and/or Nic recently?
Different types of VG can have an effect.

When you try a new flavor use a simple one like "Strawberry"

Tweak the PG/VG ratio on the eliquid a little this time.

If you use 50/50 PG/VG then switch it to 30/70 PG/VG and vise versa to see if it makes a difference
Then you go from there.

If you go through everything with the eliquid (different brands, flavors, PG/VG ratio) if it doesn't help then try checking if they make different coils for the tank or even about getting a new different tank.

Also, you could try cleaning out the tank very well
Maybe strip the tank down and replace the orings if there are extras in the box.

It's just a matter of basic troubleshooting like you would do with anything else.

Literally no one comes to a vape forum after vaping for 8 years to ask this type of question because they want to stop vaping. Even for a little while.
