Made some Lava flow juice to try it out. Gonna let it sit for a day or so. Cleaning my smpl copper mod in some vinegar now. Contact was in need so why not the whole thing. May still patina it one day to match my others.
You don’t have to let it steep...let me rephrase that, I couldn’t keep my hands off it!

Yeah, it’s an unfortunate time we’re in. I’m debating trying to make a hybrid mech myself, just need to figure out the button.

I've kept almost all of the ones I had years ago. Right now I'm vaping an Ehpro Chi You Megan 26650 tube mod with a 30mm Doc RDA on it, and it's really good. Couple of days ago I ordered a blue Stingray clone to use with the Glacier RDA that I got from @MrMeowgi . Also have a stainless and a copper Infinite Tree of Life, an Infinite Victoria Bamboo, a couple of small 14500 mechs, and a couple of telescoping tubes that I've forgotten the names of (just found some online - they're called Givo). Will be nice to have them to fall back on if it comes to that.

I thought they were terrible vapes when I used them before, but back then I didn't know how to build for them. Glad I kept them.

Will y'all just look at this shit right here? That's a forced-patinaed copper version of the tube I'm vaping now. $75 at vacavapes. God I wish I had the money.

I don’t see gear being hard to get as much as liquid and nicotine. I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t just tax the hell out of everything like all my other hobbies.

I figure that having all of our vape gear taxed may end up being the “better” outcome of a total ban. More expensive but at least we’ll be able to still get stuff. (Plus nic, of course.)
Like when the price of cigs basically doubled here in NY between state and city tax. People really didn’t stop smoking because of the price. But vaping allowed us to quit pretty painlessly, and the gov must really hate that!
It shouldn’t be happening at all, though!

When I lived in Chicago and worked at Guitar Center I’d go around and take orders for cigarettes whenever I’d go back to Indiana for a visit, no joke lmao!

That’s funny! It’s like some crazy Prohibition era thing. We just used to drive for hours to an Indian rez since cartons were like $90-100 instead of $140. Vaping is cheaper if you don’t go crazy with buying! Lol

I swear I think it's cheaper even if you DO go a little crazy with buying. Not super-crazy, though - that can get obscenely expensive!

Unfortunately, once you get one really exceptional piece of gear, it's so easy to slide into super-crazy. I'm standing at the edge of that cliff as we speak. lol I had all kinds of designs on that VA stabwood squonker that @gadget! sold to @wildgypsy70 the other day. I was drooling all over my keyboard. :blech:

Sweet cripes that an insane amount of tax! My logic on spending is I was a pack a day smoker and they’re $7 so I get $210 a month lol

That’s why I’m sticking with mid level gear! There’s some beautiful stuff out there, but I’m making myself not buy. Anyway, it’s like going on 5 months that I’m off smokes, so mid range is good enough. I can see why mixing can get really crazy with flavors, too!

The stab mods are gorgeous, but I’d be afraid to use them. I like to know if I leave mods all over the house that they’ll be okay. With those, I’d be afraid to really use them!

And buying stuff in case of a Deeming is another rabbit hole. They’ll prolly drag that shit out until the last minute, too! Just to leave vapers in suspense!

Atomizers are where I really fall into a hole. Good thing I buy a lot of clone RDAs. My husband doesn't have a clue how bad this could have been if I'd bought authentics of all the ones I have now. lol

But the piece that really threw me for a loop, and it's not even particularly high-end, is the Envii Baby Ness. It has f-ing real abalone inlay on the bottom of the mod. Plus jeez, the way it feels in my hand, it's like the thing was made for me. The Squid Detonators didn't help, either. They are just wonders of efficiency and solid quality.

These mods are still mid-range, but they're headed in a direction that I can't go very often.

Yeah, mixing, I think gypsy is gonna hit a thousand flavors not too far in the future. I have just under 200 in about 18 months, but there again, since the day I got my first supplies, I have not ordered a single bottle of pre-made juice. And I've pretty much stabilized so there aren't that many flavors that I want any more. I'll buy a few new flavors now and then, but mostly I replenish the ones I'm running low on. You'll notice if you look at my recipes, though, that I use a lot more flavors in a recipe on the average than a lot of people do. The reason that is, is because I will make something "from scratch" if I can, rather than buy another flavor. Like tiramisu. I don't own a tiramisu flavor, even though such a thing does exist. I make my tiramisu with creams, cake, coffee, and cocoa - flavors I already had. There's often more than one way to get from point A to point B.

I have authentic cheap stuff, lol. Boyfriend just kinda stares at me when I talk about the regs, until recently. He's now seeing stuff all over his timeline, or whatever it's called, on FB, and finally paying attention. I've offered to look for the things that he likes, but, "I'll be fine" is what he always says. Dude has 3 tanks and 2 mods that he likes.

Today, all I've done is fill a tank. Yesterday, I discovered I've lost my bottle of juice from my purse, somehow, which is still making me a bit worried, should it fall into the wrong hands. Thankfully, I carry back ups in my purse, but when you don't have your fave juice, and a nearly empty tank, it's like having one cigarette for a 10 hour shift. I survived it a helluva lot easier, though.

Got some vape mail, loving the Steamcrave gear! Got the Titan rdta up and running on the first try thanks to the Wendy Vapes tutorial. Cleaned a couple rdas and some drip tips. Was supposed to have a BCF order come in but the USPS decided I should wait until tomorrow for that.

Alrighty. Was flipping through tabs and refreshed the tracking number for my BCF order, status changed to delivered. Checked the updates and it got delivered at 5:43pm, I take back a few of the bad things I’ve said about the USPS.

I didn’t do much except get really angry about flavor bans coming to NY. It’s got nothing to do with these kids getting sick, but they’re using it to pass anti vaping legislation. And I chain vaped a lot!

Ordered nicotine from LNW. Used the 15% off ELRECIPES code.

VG & PG I ordered is in my chair at home. Hubbs collected the mail.

And drip tips. Those came in, too. Can't wait to get home and open that package up!

CDC mess was on CNN New Day this morning, cautioning everyone to stop vaping because of health risks associated blah blah blah.

Can't talk about it without losing my manners.

I ordered some extra battery cases from Central Vapor as I forgot to order them on my previous orders. Gonna start looking at small freezers to store nicotine in at some point. Gotta make a plan for next May. In the mean time, I'll keep buying the mods and juices that I want when I find them on sale.

I grabbed an X-Priv, some batteries and a charger, and some LASauce from their sampler sale. So, now I'm down the rabbit hole. Got two backups, a new mod w/ the Prince tank coming, and a great deal on (hopefully) some good liquid. Wonner how long it'll take me to spiral further down this here hole?
Lol! Not long if you hang out here! Hahahahaha!

It's super easy. If you can read numbers in a scale you can diy. I know some use syringes but I find scales easier and less cleanup.

I watched a Titan Vapes DIY vid on YT, and it looked pretty easy to do. He used Rose Milk, so maybe I’ll get that. I have some unflavored 120ml juice I want to use, though.

So you think there is a nega-wave coming? I'm still in shock coming back to the States, but hysteria is the word of the day. We should stock up?

I definitely plan on stocking up. And if everyone else does too there may be a shortage. Nic/vg/pg is a staple. I can get by with one or two recipes that are 2 flavors a piece. So that should last a while
