A Great Sub-Ohm Tank With Staying Power?

Perhaps a different kind of request? So far I have a HorizonTech Falcon tank. I was getting ready to pull the trigger on a Sense Screen tank and some coils when it occurred to me: None of the local stores carry it or coils for it, and most of the on-line stores either do not stock it or are closing it out. Contrast that with my three-year-old Tobeco Mini Super Tank, which is still sold and still comes highly recommended.

That got me to wondering: Is there a great sub-ohm mesh tank that (likely?) has staying power? Something for which I'll still be able to get coils 2-3 years down the road? Any particular manufacturer that keeps their products in production longer?

The newer Freemax tanks use the same sized coils as their older tanks. People who got Fireluke tanks years ago could just buy the new Mesh Pro coils, and use them. The Fireluke 2 is just a Fireluke Mesh tank with a slider top and a bubble glass. All the tea fiber coils and such work in it.

Also, Baby Beast styled coils are still popular. Companies keep making tanks that use them. They've been popular for a long time. They took over after the Atlantis styled coil era.

Of the two you mentioned, JF, the TFV8 Baby V2 looks the most interesting. But Smok's product line is confusing to me. I don't know for sure if this is (part of) the same series you referenced or not.

ETA: Doing more reading, I notice that, hitting the links from a "best sub-ohm tank" search, the Freemax Mesh Pro nearly always places in the top five or so, if not in 2nd or 3rd place.

I don't know about staying power, but...

Hit a couple vape shops and a DIY shop nearby, just because :) One of them I'd stopped into last Sunday and hadn't had much of interest, but it was on the way home so I stopped in again. Talking to the guy, he set a Falcon King on the counter. "Holy smokes! Those coils are YUGE!" I said. Liked the button-release to fill. "How much is this bad boy?" I asked. Was just curious. "$20," he answered. "Really?" "Yeah, I want to get rid of this stuff." "Out the door?" I asked. "Sure." "Done!"

I think I love this tank!

Was talking to a guy in the local DIY supply place and he said "If you're looking for a tank with staying power, the Tobeco Super Tank and Mini Super Tank have been around for years. They're still making them and still coming out with new and improved coils." They also take Aspire coils.

I have a Super Mini Tank. It's ok, but nowhere near the vapor production and, more importantly, the taste I get out of my Falcon, much less my Falcon Kings.

Nobody around here had Freemax Mesh Pros in stock.

One of my all time favorites the Uwell Crown is excellent and coils for it are sold everywhere it seems. It pretty impressive because it’s been out for several years now, hell they are on the Crown 4 now and have made other none Crown tanks in between. The 0.5 ohm coils are probably the longest lasting coils I’ve ever used. I should break it out to see how the flavor compares to today’s offerings because I remember them being great but who knows now with the mesh revolution.

now while i have not had it quite that long yet.. a strong contender for me is the one i recently got from the giveaway. https://www.aspirecig.com/aspire-tanks/aspire-tanks614.html

it ticks all of my must haves....
at least 5ml capacity 7ml with the included extra glass
the ability to put in your pocket without the juice port getting exposed by simple pressure. topcap has a slide up then over to open system
Flavor at the listed wattage on the coil. the included .2 at 30 watts is fine for me and has it breaks down i may slowly raise it till i replace it.
Wide open air flow that is smooth and does not whistle if i pull hard
this one is loads better than a crown 4 and IMO thanks to the Mesh coil the flavor is better than a smok prince or beast.

of course i tend to be a just warm enough long pull direct lung vaper.

after some more fills i will have a more conclusive judgement on it

I just won one of those tanks, good to know it's getting good reviews. Just hope there is no problem finding coils, LOL

I am in total agreement with you the original Crown tank is still one of the best sub ohm tanks available. I used mostly rebuildables drippers and such when I'm home. But when I'm out and about I use a sub ohm tank and that tank 75% of the time is an original crown. The coils last a long time, Vapor production is there, and the flavor is great. In my opinion the best sub ohm tank made in still available.
