May be adding Coilology to the bad vendors list

Which really sucks, but I placed a rather sizable ( not vendor size) coil order with them on the 1st. It's now 7 days and no communication from them. I've sent two emails that have gone unanswered. Why this is so frustrating is that I placed the order for the SQ mod on the same day. I had it in my hands in 3 days all the way from the UK.

I hope they come through, but at this point I'm not holding my breath. Not pissed, just frustrated. I try to give companies some leeway because shit does happen, but damn it at least reply to your customers. I was hoping this was going to be a regular purchase as I hate spinning my own coils.

OK. So I finally got a reply from Coilology and very shortly after that a tracking number. Things I learned that I didn't know and will influence my future purchases.

I was pretty sure that these coils were China made, but I did not, however, know that they shipped from China. With that in mind I will now buy those coils from a known US vendor.

Yup. I just order Coilology rolls from FT.. Of course, my non-vape order is now waaay overdue, but I was unaware they were off on another debacle/orgy. No warning this time.

Yeah there was no indication on the Coilology web site that they were shipped from China. Not a big deal, but I'd have known.

Several vendors out there are just sales brokers. They take your order and fill it from a variety of sources.
Vapesourcing comes to mind.

MyVPro has a decent Coilology selection.

Fasttech has better prices and big selection but they're in China too.

I've never ordered vaping stuff directly from the manufacturer. I've seen a lot of complaints from people who have though.

Coilology really does make some decent wire/coils. I've tried quite a bit of them.

I've usually had good luck doing so. I just din't think of them being in China. I've recently ordered 3 times direct from Wotofo. I know they are a Chinese company, but must have a warehouse in the states because everything usually shipped next day and was here in 2-3 days. Return address was in Los Angeles, Ca.

I ordered one time from a place and paid a few bucks extra to get shipped from their USA warehouse.
Took 7-8 weeks and was shipped from Singapore.
Must have their USA warehouse over there?

I didn't know that Wotofo had a US warehouse, that's pretty cool. I guess I haven't been paying attention.

What's odd is the first two Elder Dragons I ordered had a USPS tracking number and a return address in Los Angeles. The last one I ordered has a Chinese tracking number and seems to be coming from China. I guess one never knows what they are going to get.

Last couple of Cell Phone Holsters I bought said 7-10 days and got them in 3-5. Last one I ordered with Free Shipping said Oct 11- November 4th~! I was like WTF?? Scheduled for today but showing as delayed. Never knew I was buying from a Chinese Vender on Amazon.

Moral of the story READ before you click on CHECKOUT~!
