Where I am at with Xeta's. The two new ones I got (sxk) are threaded way different than the two yftk's. They will not thread onto an ohm reader or mod. Arg, is my luck really this shitty? So..... I had to use the sxk pos. Post in the yftk body. Guess it's good I have accumulated so many spare parts huh? Lol. Not sure if it will show, but left is yftk thread, right is sxk. One down, one to go :wait:

Is anyone else using sxk's and do yours thread onto an ohm reader?

@marter , forgot to add. I have cut my wicks at different lengths, and find it to vape fine any lengths, but also as shaddy said, on the longer side I am able to drain the boro more.

Mine's an SXK and it will thread onto my 521 mini V2.

Kind of assumed it was about draining the tank rather than how it performs when it gets juice. So you have one side longer than the other? What happens when only one gets juice?

Nope, same length. Just meant I have had them just outside the rba, up to about 4mm past, and about 1/2 way between. All vaped fine

Hmm, I guess the threading is just off on mine then. Oh well, glad I have the other decks.

This is where I am for mtl too. Wicking too. I do like the 3mm chimney reducer though. The big difference is made under the build though.

I am going to try separating about 1/3 of the cotton on the bottom of the tail and letting it hang to the bottom of the tank, while cutting the rest to normal length. I'm thinking it will pull from the lower part of the tank while still not clogging anything. Not that there's anything bad about how it is now, but always looking for improvements right?

As will mine. (I also use a 521 mini V2) That's very odd. At some point I'll have to check mine again, but I couldn't see any difference between the SXK and YFTK.

Looks like a mashup of the Insider wicking style, Exocet build deck, and Xeta/VapeShel air inserts.
All of those are winners save for the wicking, but I could be wrong. That's just my assessment from a glance.

after you said this, i checked mine, didn't go on a mod. then i check my 521, didn't go. THEN , i "pushed down" on the Xeta and it then threads on.

You have to take up the travel on the positive 510 spring in whatever you screw it on to.

I haven't had mine fail to thread onto anything I've tried so far.

Oh yeah, I pushed. It ain't happening. I know it doesn't show well, but the threading is abour 2x finer on the one

Ok, sure, let's make this even weirder. Tried on my 521 plus tab again, nope. Tried it on 4 or 5 other mods, nope. Tried it on my regular 521 tab, boom, right on. Reads it, fires it. Color me confused

I think there's a Chinese pixie or something that sits over there waiting for your Xeta orders to make sure that if there are any defective units sitting around they go to you.

Gold and ultem. Built another xeta for MTL. This time brought the wick screws up a bit. Good so far.

And no worries man. Bobshere was enabling me on the xeta for like a month. It was bound to happen

Everybody wants folks to like what they recommend, but I sincerely can't believe you won't wind up loving it. The no leak thing is huge too. I took the boro out of my Rat Black last night after like 4 days and nary a smattering of condensation in there. I mean almost bone dry. I could just detect a hint of slipperiness on the very bottom.

The Fasttech ones are a little shorter obviously, but still a great buy.

I have a confession to make. While I was waiting for my black SXK I went on 3fvape looking for something, and I noticed they had the orange BB listed, and one thing led to another, and it arrived today. I rationalized that even 2 SXK's, a couple xeta rbas, etc. I'm still below the cost of an authentic. Does that work? Anyway, here it is.

When I ordered the orange (Kurbis?) SXK I decided to order a YFTK xeta since several were having problems with the SXK. It arrived today, and guess what they included? An extra positive post (lower right in pic); did anyone else's come with an extra post? It was kind of added to the box as an afterthought, not in one of the ziplock baggies.

Damn,that was fast.Fasttech already has the orange SXK BB discontinued.I think it was only listed not even a month.Being SXK is releasing the purple again,i wonder if maybe they are doing 1 small run of each color again?I may grab a purple on the black friday sale,but then i'll be pissed if they release another batch of the bronze,as that is the one color i absolutely have to have haha,i figure that one will come out right after i spend all my money on the purple.

Good or Bad idea?

Just designing some new panels for my polished BB, I have made some with windows showing Juice level and Screen, now I have polished internals I am thinking of expanding the screen windows for access to the buttons but not sure if it's a step too far, has anyone tried this?

New design will have a smaller teardrop juice window but a larger square with access for the buttons, in my mind I think it could be a step too far, your thoughts please?

These are some earlier rough concepts just showing the screen and too large juice window (since changed it to a narrow window)
