Hope your day goes good!

Morning everyone! I slept like crap last night and am out of creamer for my coffee... so I’m a little turbed right now lol. Anyway, have a great day everyone!
Wow me too. In fact I didn't sleep at all and I'm out of my creamer. Damn dog did nothing but whimper and whine all night. Trying to get him into the vet. He's hardly eating and his poops are all fucked up too.

Good afternoon!

Unfortunately I had to give up all caffeine a few years ago due to my thyroid issues. I had headaches every day for about 3 months. I was someone who could drink 3 cups of coffee then go to bed.... Now you give me caffeine and I'm running around like a chipmunk on a nut!!

I hope everyone slept great! I finally had a good night rest again! Today is my day to sleep in, but I can’t so I’m playing video games and scrolling around Facebook and here until I either get tired again or decide to finally get up.

Anyway, I really hope you all have a great morning and a wonderful day!

Good morning!

Umm @Staten Island Dom Hope everything got resolved for you and no blood was shed! :inlove:
@Belladona glad to hear you finally got some good sleep!

Dish... :gaah: Why is upgrading tech always such a friggin' hassle???? Y'all, the dude was here for over 6 HOURS!!!! First thing he did when he got here was spent an hour replacing the 11 year old dish on the roof... then he came in and began installing 1 of 2 Hoppers... then he left "to go get another Hopper" when there were 2 on the order. He came back over an hour later. Then is was almost 2 hours trying to wall fish a wire in the office because he ran into a metal support beam in the basement. After all that, it was another 2 hours of finishing the setups and showing me what's what in the new boxes. I had to check every single thing he touched, good thing I did... In the living room I have a DVD, Surround sound system, TV, and of course the Dish receiver. Their new boxes do not have enough RCA jacks to accommodate a surround system... WHAT?!?!?! :xD: The way he had it set up there was no sound to the TV and DVD wasn't going through to the TV!
When it was all said and done he got it all working. He left my house at 8:30pm  A few things like naming both boxes the same name needs fixed.

But on the good side of it all... I now have HD in 2 rooms, a TV in my office right above this computer monitor, and Netflix/YouTube on my TV's. :bliss: Oh, and he gave me 2 free HDMI cables... after trying to sell me 2 in the package for $18 a piece! SMH

Sheesh what a nightmare. I'm switching back to cable after 15 years of AT&T uverse and Dish. FUCK AT&T. Speeds and tech keep getting faster and better with everyone but them, yet my bill keeps going up and up and up. I'm going from 30 mbps to 400 mbps internet and because it's cable I can put the damn wifi router in a more central location instead of buried in a back room tied to an antiquated fucking rj-11 phone line. I can also buy my own damn router. I'm also getting the same amount of channels for TV. What's going to be the issue for us is replacing the buried coax cable from the house to the junction box (which is in our yard) that's over 25 years old and crappy which is the reason why we switched in the first place.

Good afternoonb!

Hubby is swinging through the house today... guess that means I have to figure out what I'm making for dinner!

So I got the new Dish mostly set up yesterday. A few things weren't working with the Dish Anywhere account so I had to get them on the phone again. Spent an hour chit chatting with one of their techs, nice guy!

Something that I wish everyone knew. Techs hate when stuff don't work. We don't want to hear us Bitch. I know that anything man has made is going to quit working. I am still a technical person who doesn't have to fix it anymore.:bliss::cool:

Yeah. Today he said we’ll try counseling and see where that goes, but he is on a thread between divorce and trying to make it work. So now I have no idea how it’s going to pan out.
Same thing going one here lol. Whatever you get through whatever happens. Off today for Veterans Day because I’m a veteran. I fixed tanks in the marines. Have a good day and see ya later.

Divorces can be nasty and hurtful so I hope you do the due diligence and get your ducks in a row. Make sure you have a good lawyer and do not settle because in the end you deserve what you deserve unless you had a Pre Nup you should be OK. I am rooting for you though~!

No problem at all. Just be prepared for it because once they file for divorce start squirllering money away.
It’s hard because he forced me to be a stay at home mom when our son was born. He wants to try one last time through this counseling, but I’m scared he’s just going to divorce me anyway. There’s a woman that lives right across the street that can help me get housing and welfare until I get on my own feet and can provide for myself. He also doesn’t realize he’d have to pay alimony

He also doesn't realize he has to pay for housing and to feed his kids until they are 18 or more. If he thinks divorce mean end of paying to support his kids he is sure;y mistaken.

Thank you for the info. If it ends, I want it to be peaceful but I refuse to be taken advantage of. I didn’t choose or want to be a stay at home mom. I always wanted to go back to work but he wouldn’t let me
