sometimes ad blocking can mess with it and sometimes the cookie might not have updated who knows i usually just hit refresh and most things work.

Welcome to VU. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Good group of folks here, most willing to help.

If you want to quote a specific post the way I did here by quoting your post and reply to it, click on the little red "Reply" icon in the lower right corner of the post you want to quote.

OK, slight brain fart (heck of a way to introduce myself LOL) I thought "Things NOT to do" was a thread (didn't realize it was a sub-forum) Can't seem to find an emoji for that one.

Welcome to VU!

Brain farts happen to all, some more than others. I tend to be in the more category, the FIFO register tends to get smaller with age... Now, what was I going to say... :giggle:

Also to reply to something more specific in a post, I delete everything between the bracketed sections of the post I dont want to be there. There might he easier ways to do it, but that's what I do.

When hitting reply, there's a bracketed section on top (user you're replying to), and a section on the bottom (softwares code to recognize it's a [/quote)

If you accidently delete anything in those sections, your reply turns into a big mess. But when quoting someone you'll see their post inbetween bracketed sections. I deleted the stuff I want to go away. I hope that's not to hard to follow. I repied to your emoji as an example.
